This is the brand I buy: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IT1HKV4?pc_redir=T1
It passes all the "tests" for pure argan oil. Darker color, nutty/unique scent, and viscous. I was skeptical due to the price, but it checks out in my opinion!
This is a great guide on Oil Cleansing. I personally use this Argan Oil and then CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser to wash off the oil and then proeceed with my routine.
EtA: Please ask if you have any more questions regarding this issue (including timing, etc.). My main concerns with my own skin is dryness + enlarged/clogged pores and my knowledge base reflects that.

This is basically a lifetime supply. The other thing you should do is use conditioner in the shower (every single time). The good news is, you only need a small dot. Just put it on your beard and let it sit a sec while you wash yo' body.
This is the EXACT same stuff as Josie Maran, and I use it on my face every day - https://www.amazon.com/Virgin-Organic-Argan-Hair-Face/dp/B00IT1HKV4
It's amazing!
FWIW, I shed 2-3 eyebrow hairs any time I wash them in a non-gentle way. And they've also been getting really dry. So I put a drop of argan oil on them :)
I bought both on Amazon - I use the actual oil not shampoo. I usually massage it into my scalp every couple of nights and then sleep with it on. Typically I wrap up my head with a scarf or bandana just so the oil doesn't get on my pillowcase and cause breakouts on my face later.

Styling!
You mentioned that you dont want to "weight it down with product" and how im interpreting that is that you don't want it to look greasy or over-worked. This is fine, it's my same preference.
If you have fine hair, do the following with your head hanging down. This will help volumize your roots while you style. Keep product away from your roots. If you have regular/thick hair, do this upright.
Here's what you do -- Invest in 3 things --> moisturizer, sealer, styler.
I've tried literally hundreds of dollars worth of fucking useless products. Here is what i've found works best for me.
So yeah, this may seem overwhelming, but you can cherry-pick what you are willing to do. Honestly, aside from the head massage, i literally only do the oil/hairwash/style thing once every 5 or 6 days. So it really doesnt demand that much time.
I figure while im here, i'll also address some things i often see people commenting:
F.A.Q (my opinions as answers)
Okay...i hope this helped at all!
