This ball is demonic - it would go off on it's own, rolling around and making noise. Baby loved it, husband hated it.

VTech toys are solid and are pretty inexpensive and kids like the lights and songs. I'm not sure how much it helped him, but I feel like my son tried a little harder to chase the Crawl Baby Ball around while he was learning to crawl.
