I am a guy who was in nearly the same boat as you at that age. It took me a while to accept the baldness. Go to the store and buy a nice set of clippers. Something like this. Learn to buzz your own hair. Not only will you look much better, free haircuts.

The larger one with no guard will allow you a rather close buzz.

I use one of these and have liked it for the 9 months or so I've had it.
Why not just get the Wahl hair and beard trimmer? I got the Lithium battery one and it works great. the battery is a rock, went a month with out charging once i charged it all the way. (i use it to do my hair too since i keep it cut really short) the smaller trimmer is nice too.
