Hey dude, I'm not a dude, but I'm the wife of a dude and the mom of a little dude, so I hope that my insights are welcome here.. I didn't have a dad in my life either, but this is what I've learned about dude hygiene over the last 12 years of my marriage:

1. Pick a "signature scent" (COLOGNE, not Axe body spray), spend a little money on it (a whole giant bottle should be like $40-75) and wear it SPARINGLY. 2. Workout! I do not work out, so I'm a giant hypocrite, but my husband keeps a squat rack and bumpers, plus some 50-80lb dumbbells in the garage. He doesn't do like full 2-hour or whatever workouts every day, but he squeezes in a few sets here and there whenever he has time. Its just enough to keep him looking great but a little squishy (the way I happen to like it), and he says it improves his mood, anxiety levels, sexual stamina, and more!

4. Please understand that fashion does not exist to oppress you. If your clothes are uncomfortable or unflattering, they are not the right clothes for your body. Dress the body you have, not the body you want or the body you hate. Put your best foot forward, wear clothes you actually like and TAKE CARE OF THEM by not just washing them all together in hot water and drying them on the Nuclear setting. Follow the washing directions on the tags, get recommendations for a good, local, sustainable dry cleaner, and hang up your nice/work/club clothes ASAP after you get home. Also wash/wipe down the white/light colored parts of your shoes/sneakers every week or two, it makes a surprising difference! 5. Clip your finger/toe nails before any and all sexual activity, full stop. Also making sure your hands/nails are clean (much more difficult if you're lucky enough to work a fun blue-collar job) is important. you don't need to go out and get mani/pedis (but it's SO fun and makes you look great), and clean, trimmed nails go a long way to help you look polished.
   
   
6. Everyone's preferences for pubic hair are a very personal decision, but as a woman who bangs a dude, I'll tell you what I believe to be some good general advice: Ball/dick hair in your partner's mouth during blow jobs is gross, but can be an inevitability.
