I recommend these for your ear pro. Little pieces of foam or rubber shoved into your ear DON'T cut it. They just aren't enough. These let you hear the people and shots around you but automatically quiet noises that are not safe. There are of course higher quality/fancier options but they're a great value for a recreational shooter. https://www.amazon.com/Walkers-Game-Ear-Amplification-Suppression/dp/B01BXVPCHK

I bought the 30$ Walker Razor when it was on sale and I can tell you that it does indeed have dual mics. -Edit: Not that it matters (who would hook these up to an ipod?)-Edit2- Use the ear pro for shop work or yard work (chainsaws, power tools, lawn mowers, weed whackers, etc) but the aux input is in a way better location. The headband is more comfortable and looks like it has more padding than the Caldwell and the volume control knob is much easier to adjust especially if you have gloves on.

Wish I bought another set for friends who don't have HP because they are really nice. Fitment is excellent and they look a hell of a lot better than the Caldwell's.

Hmmmm... It might be time to switch to some wireless headphones

Would you mind posting a link to the exact pair you have?

If they're these: https://www.amazon.com/Walkers-Razor-Slim-Electronic-Muff/dp/B01BXVPCHK then the typical adapters won't fit on to them. Rather than a split locking pin, the pins on peltors are ovular shaped and the plastic clips which mount on to them are c-shaped, so they can be rotated 90 degrees to lock them on.

HOWEVER, it looks like the metal wire components which go into the plastic clips are roughly the same. You might be able to slide the peltor-style clips off of an adapter set and replace them with the headset's pair. Might require a bit of force, heat, bending, and glue or locktite, but it looks like it ought to work. If you do decide to go for it IMO go for an FMA pair of adapters. Much less than the RS ones and they're functionally identical

Purchase a good set of ear and eye protection. I own a set of [Walkers] (https://www.amazon.com/Walkers-Razor-Slim-Electronic-Muff/dp/B01BXVPCHK), and by far the best pair of ear pro I have ever owned. I have always used ESS Sun glasses as well, but I mostly shoot outdoors. You may want a clear lens if you plan to shoot indoors.

I got these: https://www.amazon.com/Walkers-Electronic-Protection-Amplification-Suppression/dp/B01BXVPCHK

and doubled up with these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G2PR6H4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I went to small indoor range, only 6 lanes and had no issues with hearing others or it being too loud.

I got those particular ear plugs because I seem to have small ear canals, I can't stand ear bud headphones!. Having other plugs in would give me a headache so I tried the low pressure. They worked well, didn't even notice them which was nice.
