But you're missing his last point:

Sure, war requires supplies, and there are people who can provide those supplies. However, when war is started purely for financial gain, that's when we hit a moral problem.

I was thinking Marines myself, but I've read far too much history and politics to ever go into the armed forces. It basically is another cult, the only difference is they teach you useful things. I suppose that would be the main reason to sign up. That or if everyone i knew got killed or was in a blood lust/I don't give a fuck mood. Even then, I'd always be cognizant of my decision and all of the consequences it would entail.

You should check out "War is a Racket" by Smedley Darlington Butler. I rather not risk having to fight a war and murder fellow human beings for the monetary benefit of some asshole I've never even met.
