>Further, the idea that minority rights would be protected by gun ownership implies that you simply don't grasp the concept of minorities. See, being a minority means there are less of you than the other group. So if your group and the other group both have weapons, that means your group gets slaughtered, at which point your survivors lose all their other rights.

And if both groups don't have weapons, or just have cruder weapons, your group still gets slaughtered.

However, if your group does have weapons, and the other larger group does not have wepaons, or just not as many, now you have an actual advantage.

And even if both sides have weapons, your group may still get slaughtered, but likely at far greater cost to the larger group than if no one had weapons. They may want to slaughter you, but hold off on actually doing so because its not worth the cost. This is called deterrence.

>So using weapons to defend your rights isn't really an option for a minority.

Wanna know why this shit is never talked about in high school history classes, or many college history classes? Because it fucking terrifies white people and they want to act like nonviolent protest is all you need, so they can quash it like they’ve been doing with the peaceful BLM protests.
