Why is that one twice as much as this one? Wheeler 710905 Engineering Armorer's Handgun Sight Tool https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B3NU0U2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_FOQTBbHNT80E1

For you, or anyone else reading this, feel free to mail me your slide & sights and I'll install them for you and ship it back USPS 2 day for $8 (which it costs me for a USPS small 2 day box) + the cost of insurance if you choose that you want it.

I've got This Wheeler Tool and I've done probably. 40-50 sight sets so far.

I know most people would rather take their slide to a gun store and pay them to install sights because it's easier and faster, but I know some stores around here charge $40-$70 for that which is fucking stupid since it literally takes 90 seconds to do, AND most of these gun stores are too stupid to blue loctite the front screw which means your front sight is flying off 100 rounds down the road.

I did! I have the wheeler sight pusher vise and haven’t paid someone to do sights since I got it (on FNs, Sig, Glock, and now CZ). I wouldn’t want to try it without the vise but not a problem with it at all. Couple things to remember, with the front sight you have to drift out the roll pin holding it in a certain direction (I believe it’s right to left but honestly not 100% sure). The front sight sides may need lightly sanded to fit using no higher than 200 grit and equally on each side according to some people. Mine went straight in with zero play and no issues. Also make sure you put the roll pin back as it’s also what holds the barrel bushing in place. Apparently some people forget that step and it leads to tactical disassembly.

Here’s the link to the vise. Definitely worth the purchase imo if you plan on doing more than one or really want to do it yourself (also truglo voids the warranty if you use a hammer)! If you use it, biggest suggestion I have is to put painters tape on the sides of the slide that the vise contacts with to save your finish

This sight pusher is junk. I bought one and it would just torque and put weird pressure in the sight and not move it.

Either spend the cash on a solid site tool: Wheeler 710905 Engineering Armorer's Handgun Sight Tool https://www.smile.amazon.com/dp/B01B3NU0U2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_YdCPBb9YRS7AD

Or, if you don’t have the dough to spend, do what the other guy referred you to - a non-marring, hammer driven sight pusher.

This is one I was looking at on Amazon. I'm open to suggestions though.

It looks like it will clear the safety since the pusher is set in front of the slide clamps.
