That's nice you can buy third party gift cards with Amazon credits/gift card balance. I thought it was pretty much determined that this couldn't be done.
Edit: OP, did you purchase one of these? The only reason I ask is that I tried using my gift credit for the card ($25, just like in your experiment) and it wasn't a payment option for me. The site allows me to use the mTurk-earned credit towards other physical products like books, however.
