I'm not really into this, buuut for everyone complaining about ruining a perfectly good pineapple, you could totally use that food safe spray for it. Then you can still eat them! like this
I'm going to guess this is either makeup/body paint or metallic spray on cake icing. Those are the only options that seem non toxic/blinding and somewhat washable.

Yep there is! It is Wilton Gold Color Mist. It's available at most stores.
Actually it was just the Wilton Gold Color Mist. I recommend waiting till the cookies have fully cooled, and using a light touch, because they were a little chewier than they are supposed to be.
