1. Eight, the first one you should start with is The Last Wish.
   
2. Depends on how fast you read. For me it takes about a month to finish one book, but others read books in matter of days.
   
3. There are some misinformation in the translated versions, but in the end they serve the purpose.
   
   I'd also like to add if you're in the EU, you can actually get the first 7 books for £25.

Anybody know a way to order the witcher book collection in English?

Shipping from US would double the price and ordering the separate books from Bol would also increase the price.

The fan translations get the story across, but they're not error-free. At points, though, they do capture the spirit of Sapkowski's original prose even better than the professional translations, but the latter are still overall better and more enjoyable to read.

You can order the official translations from most online bookstores, like Amazon. The set behind the link has the first six books, meaning The Lady of the Lake and Season of Storms (when it comes out in about three months) need to be separately purchased.

Here's The Witcher Library Edition Volume 1 on Amazon. I recommend going to a bookstore for the other books though, to be sure you can get them all matching. If you are into that anyways. If not, they have this set and you'll also have to get Season of Storms if you want them all.
