I bought this controller and I have not had that much play time with it, but so far it seems to be reliable. I wanted a wired controller and could not find a Microsoft one anywhere locally, so I opted for this. Hated doing it at first but it really does feel well made. My only complaint is due to it being slightly smaller, it takes some time to get in the groove. It killed my shooting ability in Call of Duty. For games like Bioshock and Minecraft I didn't really expect anything different. I would always recommend Microsoft controllers first but for an aftermarket it is beyond expectations. Although, due to experience with MadKatz shit, they were very low expectations.
XBox controller all the way. 360 or One, doesn't really matter much between them.
Don't go PS4, support is more pain in the assy, and while tons of games have real support for the XBox controller with proper button prompts and stuff, that is not the case for a Playstation controller.
I actually bizarrely like a third party 360 controller made by PowerA called the Pro EX Mini, since it has a post-patent dpad and a nice feel. People probably will think I'm crazy though.
