I know this is a month old, but if you’re still looking you should consider the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite. It costs around $240 and it’s definitely the best phone in that price range. Samsung AMOLED screen, fairly fast processor, large screen-to-body ratio, etc.
I got a Mi 8 Lite last year as an Uber phone and it’s great. The Mi 9 Lite is a major step above that, especially with the screen. It’s a much better value than buying a older Google Pixel.
