If you've never worn Bama sock liners with boots like this I highly recommend it. They suck all moisture from your sock and absorb it and keep your feet warm while making the inside of the boots much softer on your feet.
I used them with a pair of black dunlops (rubber split on them, wouldn't recommend) and I never had wet feet due to my foot sweat even though I wore cotton socks that get soaked when wearing my leather work boots.
You definitely have to fit your boots with the Bamas on since they're thick, but even though your feet get hot you'll never have wet sweaty feet.
Next pair of rubber boots I get will be Baffins fit with Bamas.

If you want to make your boots last another season. I am used to these, I use them for my rubber boots at work. I can't really say there is any downsides to them. There is a little bit of fitting then to your for shape that takes a few days to set in. But they seriously come out of your boot wet on the outside but dry on the feet. So it's got some legitimate reasons to use then other then just a boot size fix.
