Really appreciate the help. I'm gonna try my local music store tomorrow and ask around. The one I linked was a seventy-something key grand piano style keyboard. It was going for £70 which seemed outrageously good- no wonder it's gone now haha.
My friend recommended me this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yamaha-NP11-Piaggero-Portable-Digital/dp/B004RTHGKW/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1417350696&sr=8-11&keywords=yamaha%20keyboard
He says it's been good for him and he's been playing for many years now - I think grade 6 or so. Tell me what you think anyway :)
EDIT: Upton having a further look on Amazon, I've found this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yamaha-PSRE343-PSR-E343-Portable-Keyboard/dp/B00C9UXXQW/ref=sr_1_2?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1417374320&sr=1-2&keywords=yamaha+keyboard#customerReviews
These two are a similar price even with discounts. What would be the difference between them? All I can really think of is one comes with 200 effects or something. I have to admit, I'd rather have a sleek discreet looking keyboard than one with all the bells and whistles. Regardless, which type would you think is best for a beginner?
This will go to both of you exactly the same. So i've been researching and I have found a couple of candidates. Tell me what you think!
