Neat-o. I’m assuming it’s wood. The hanging wire and eye pins are definitely modern, but I don’t know what the other holes are for. Intuitively, they’re probably practical, either for ventilation or for attaching some other head decoration, as in this example. Here’s another example with similar holes cut out.

Are the dots on the forehead and chin brass tacks? Here’s an example of tacks being used on a similar mask. That’s another reason I think it’s Yombe. The Yombe are also fine figure carvers, and they sometimes used brass tacks to decorate their carvings.

Typically, these masks have teeth. I wonder if there are some broken off.

I’m not expert enough to date it, but it looks like something that was used as opposed to decorative, to me. The wide open eyes and breathing holes in the nose and mouth are indicative of a worn mask. You could ask over at Masks of the World for another opinion.
