I second YSL's La Nuit de L'Homme. I picked up a bottle from Amazon a few months ago, and it's pretty much my go-to night fragrance. It's got a spicy/lavender smell to it, and it's a pretty consistent compliment-getter.

Just so you know, La Nuit is 55 on Amazon and 50 on ebay. Though you might have paid 70 for it, no one will swap for that amount. I'm also assuming you have the 3.3 bottle and not the big 6.7 oz bottle which is running almost 90 on ebay.
A good buy is Dolce and Gabbana The One(Eau De Parfum). The projection isn’t the best, but it’s a really good date night fragrance. But if you want a more projection, another really good fragrance is Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De L’Homme(Eau De Toilette). They’re both good, masculine fragrances and compliment getters and you can wear them almost anywhere at anytime.
