Well thinking and knowing is two completely different things... if this is your computer I’d upgrade the graphics card. To at least a 1060 6gb they are pretty decent and you’ll def be able to play rust. I really think you need a new cpu as well but idk the mobo so I can’t recommend a new one and I’m not a ryzen guy but if that’s the pc I’ll look into it and tell you what you could do.

I wouldn't recommend going under the minimum specs. I did that with my first headset the HTC Vive and would get sick so fast due to FPS lower than 90 at times. Keep in mind I never get motion sickness. But I would say that you should get a GTX 1060 and then buy the Rift S. You won't regret it.

Those are all viable options but some are a tiny bit more than 150$. If u can I would wait and get a 1660 for close to 200$ ISD but if you are in desperate need of a card then just get a 1650 as that will work fine for you. Remember that the mini versions of the cards are a bit louder than the normal versions as they have to work harder. And also a good feature with the 1650 is that it needs no external power. All you need to do is put it in the motherboard and your done!
