I'm looking to buy a budget tablet for a long road trip, just to keep the passenger entertained and for watching movies when we're off the road.
Looking for streaming video, reading books/news, GPS. Cell data would be great, but not essential as I can use my phone as a hot spot, and after the road trip the tablet will just be staying home. No gaming (we have another device just for games, but it can't do anything else). My budget is $150.
Options I'm considering, although I'm open to other suggestions:
Edit: Also considering an Amazon Fire... I'd rather have an Android, but it seems like it's hard to beat the value of the fire.

I was just shopping for a tablet. I mainly use em to watch movies and read comics.
i actually brought 3 and planned to return the other 2. But IDK because the Android ones are so cheap.
The ZTE Trek 2... The Amazon HD Fire ($99 on Amazon for sale or $70 on ebay) is a great buy too. Better screen than the ZTE. just its annoying to have to install apps on it. and it feels gigantic for some reason.
