I cut them with some tin snips so that I could inlay the nanoleafs. I also filled in the empty gaps with some spray foam and cut / sanded them down. Probably more trouble than it's worth, but I love how the nanoleaf lights play off of them.

Yup. I think they're a pretty neat idea if it works well for the room.

Don't know if those are the exact ones, as they have different materials for sale.

Hexagons! Hexagonal lighting or Wall panels

And of course, you gotta fill all your monitors with live feeds from your home security system. Be sure to have a server rack humming in the corner with all the connections.

They sell plastic design panels for your wall pretty inexpensive on amazon - heres a link

seen people use them before and they look good imo, especially with ambient lights or LEDs. Look at pictures in the reviews

I'm wondering about the dimensions in this room... It seems like it might be hard to fit a queen/king size bed from what the pictures show. Unless you have a twin or full, it might be too cluttered to fit everything? Ideally, you would not want anything to be against that heater. And how much are you willing to spend on time and money into this project?

With no constraints, I would suggest removing that carpet as you had originally said. Put in those dark laments. Repainting the ceiling and walls would make a huge difference.

Green and white wall = repaint white. Don't forget baseboards and ceiling either. You don't want to have different shades of white going on.

Blue wall = Accent wall. Use wallpaper or peel and stick decals. Possibly one similar to these? One, two, three. Amazon has quite a bit of options. You would want to give the room some texture. You already have the built in storage so you don't want to get too crazy by painting all of the walls different colors and drawing attention to every side of the room.

If you are strapped on space for space I could suggest something that would take a little bit of effort and vision. Which would be to remove those first 3-4 storage doors. So you have that L shape. Hallow it out, and put a desk in. Decorating inside of there would be another story haha.

I believe that could give you enough room for a nice reading chair to sit to the left of the heater, pointing at an angle facing the blue wall. Having only shelves on the right of the heater where you could put your books?

Not sure if that helped at all, but I would love to see whatever the outcome is!

So far as budgeting, I'm definitely going to be on the thrifty side. I'll likely be living here for a few years though, so I can gradually improve the room over time. I'm in North America!

Mostly looking for inspiration/any experience decorating these kinds of spaces (It's the room I'm renting/my bedroom/office as I work remote). I'm not going to have a bed in the room (I'll be sleeping on a Japanese futon, which I'll put in the closet during the day), and I'm keeping the large black cabinet included in the pictures (but removing the bed, and small dresser). Ceilings are sloped towards the window, giving an interesting shape to the room. I'm starting out with quite the blank slate, so any ideas to make the most out of this space would be awesome!

My style is vintage/clean/minimalist. I'd like to spend a lot of time in this space, so I need it to double as a small work space, bedroom, and TV/sitting place (I know, that's a ton for such a teensie space). I definitely want to redo the walls, as I think the paint color is abhorrent. I was thinking of using faux brick paneling, like this, but I'm unsure if that'll stay up on the mobile home walls. Any suggestions for combining that kind of look with a nicer paint color (or color suggestions?)

Anyway, a novel but this is my first place and I want to make the most of it I can!

So what we found online was initially this through Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073NZ67LK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Qn1mDbFEHVGBE and then I actually found these at Home Depot that say in the description they can work for sound dampening... https://www.homedepot.com/p/LuxorWare-19-7-in-x-1-in-x-19-7-in-White-PVC-Fiber-3D-Wall-Panels-12-Pack-LW3D826/303607357?MERCH=REC-_-PIPHorizontal2_rr-_-205079515-_-303607357-_-N

It's not. They are just decorative panels to cover a wall. Zero sound deadening but might do a bit of sound diffusion. https://www.amazon.com/Art3d-Decorative-Panels-Diamond-Design/dp/B01A6TV9H2
