Best alexa car skills according to redditors

There's already an ok google app and an Alexa skill.

Aren't there already a few Alexa apps that can control Teslas?

There is a Google Assistant and Amazon app which I use to unlock and cool the car which works fairly well.

Thanks for the confirmation. That’s great to hear. Now if they’d just hurry up and let me order one - I’ve been on the invitation list since it was announced.

There are some interesting Tesla-specific Alexa skills, like this one, that might be worth checking out. This might be a way to get better voice controls in the car for stuff like climate, opening the Frunk, etc. until Tesla gets around to implementing it natively.

It’s also worth noting that this would be a cool way to control some of your home automation, if you have any (lights, garage door, etc.). I also find the “announce” or “tell everybody” feature to be useful to play a message on all the Echos in the house (e.g. “Alexa, tell everyone I’ll be home in 5 minutes”).

How are you mounting it/where do you have it placed in the car? I’ve been thinking of the best way to approach that. I know it comes with double sided tape, but I love how minimalist the Model 3 interior is, and would want to find a way to make it pretty much hidden, while still being able to hear voice commands. Interested on your take.

I don't think that page lists ALL the things Alexa can do in your car as it also says:
