I've had 2 of these for a year now. Love loved love them. The thermostat and timer settings make them better than any factory setup I've tried. They also warm up faster than any in seat heater.

I have 7 and 2 yo daughters. The 2 yo is in a car seat and the 7 yo in a booster seat. I bought the kick mats and car seat protector for both seats. Bought these for my wife’s Hyundai Ioniq and my Model 3. The seat protectors help keep the car seat from making indentions in the seats.

I have a Corbin and they as hard as any seat I have sat on. They say that they need to be broken in, but in the mean time you suffer - we shall see. Have you looked at an air pad? Some of my iron butt friends use a wooden bead pad. I have also linked to a test at Motorcycle Cruiser.

I’ve got these TiiL car seat cover, I’ve had them over a year, used 3-4 times a week after running or the gym and so far no stink! I give them a fabreeze every once in a while and pop them in the washing machine when needed. So far so good.

My friend has been dealing with no heater for the last two winters. His solution was a heater that wired to his battery that he set on the dash. It wasn't enough to heat the truck up, but it kept the window clear.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0002D6JW8/ref=aw_d_dsc_automotive

I don't think he paid that much, but it looks like that.

u/BottleNcanClapUrHand · 2 pointsr/ToyotaTacoma

I was going to pull the trigger on these Have you tried them?

u/yoordoengitrong · 2 pointsr/f150

This is probably not at all what you had in mind, but I found these on Amazon and absolutely love the look of them. Thinking about picking up a pair for our new supercrew:

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01J9OXZP4/?coliid=I3BSG18F6OAP9N&colid=1RAOQIHMHHM56&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

We do a lot of camping, canoeing, mountain biking, etc and plan on using the truck to haul our gear. Having a nice organized set of pouches and containers on the backs of the seats to house first aid kit, flashlights/headlamps, tools, roadside emergency gear, ratchet straps, etc means it would be all right there when you need it without having to dig into the bed (I have a trunk in the bed to carry some less frequently used or bulkier gear, but it's more work to get to it). We could even dedicate one or two pouches for kids books and toys/charging cables so the kids can access them from the rear row.

I just find that the stock f150 is kind of lacking in storage areas within the cab. It is my biggest complaint at the moment. I have 3 child seats installed in the back row making second row under-seat storage impractical, so options for extra storage are a bit limited.

Disclaimer: I have not purchased/tested the product linked above so I have no idea on quality. I'll do a review if I decide to pick them up.

u/cmraarzky · 2 pointsr/running

I've purchased 2 seat covers in the past 2 months. The first one I bought was this microfiber towel. The second one was this neoprene one. I ended up hating the microfiber one for a few reasons: after even one use it stunk terribly, it wouldn't dry overnight if i hung it up, and the whole strapping it to the seat thing was a pain in the ass (not difficult, just annoying). The neoprene one I only got recently but it just slips over the headrest and tucks in. The rubber backing means it doesn't slide too much and is actually waterproof. Best part was that it has actually dried overnight and not smelled horribly. My seats are black cloth so I didn't really worry about color transfer but make sure you don't just leave whatever cover you purchase on the seats permanently, that's not what they're meant for.

Would you consider a heated seat cover/cushion like this:

https://www.amazon.com/TISHIJIE-Intelligence-Temperature-Controller-Automatic/dp/B07W3KPTSP/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=heated+seats&qid=1573058180&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExNUhZTUdRSUQzQkgwJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNjczNzg0M1BGRVJMQlJBUDYxSyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjc1NDAxMlFQWkYwME5FSlg5WiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

There are a few other good ones on amazon as well. This would probably be the significantly cheaper route. If you want an oem-like install, then just google 'heated seats installation milwaukee' for a few in the area. Give them a call.

This, because Darth Vadar is my spirit animal. When (if) I get married, I WILL walk down the aisle to the 'Imperial March'. Also, I am an olympic gold medalist in curling, I have curly hair, like curly fries and have a curly tailed pig.

RoadWorthy Back Seat Heat 12V Truck Heater,1100 BTU https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002D6JW8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_IZI6Bb68PD9WB

You'd need to run your van to have this on, though.

I'm not sure a solar powered battery bank that fits in a van would have enough juice for an electric heater - those things suck up power. They aren't designed to be energy efficient.

I use this memory foam seat belt pad (distributes force over wider area)

Thank you for your comment~ Much appreciated. I've been trying to stay positive by reading inspirational quotes to get through day by day to keep my mind off these toxic people :)

Luckily, we have a garage to safely park our car inside at night and added security cameras after some magically cigarette butts landed on our driveway. Once someone disrespects me, they no longer exist to me. I don't tolerate bullshit and just try to move on. However, I suspect we have neighbours who are trying to sabotage our from home selling.

When we do home renovations outdoor, they would coincidentally walk by just to mock how "ugly" our house look. Ideally, we ignore their words and continue doing our work. To make matters worse, we live in between them and their in-law family house with their kids playing on our driveway in the past. That issue has stop ever since we got security camera installed around our home.

I'm aware they have been 'not so secretly' recording our vehicle back-up alarm when it automatically activates when it is shift into reverse because they started taking pictures of us while we were installing our security cameras outdoor. In addition, they would have their in-law family car intentionally block our car from easily reversing out of our driveway once in awhile so, someone inside of their home could record the back-up alarm noise activate for a longer period of time to collect video noise "evidence" coming from our vehicle instead of moving their car out of the way.

People try to sue over almost anything nowadays no matter how ridiculous it is. I've read an article about someone suing their neighbour for hanging up WIND CHIMES to Starbucks sued for $5 million for 'putting too much ice' in its iced drinks by a Chicago woman. If it was deemed too loud we believe some kind of official authority would of said something earlier to us if they measured the decibel (dB).

Hopefully everything will be alright in the end because I don't want to meet these people in court for this type of nonsense.

Fitted, got on Amazon

Good deal if you don't mind doing it yourself for 200$ for fronts and rear seating.

u/IAmYourDaydreamer · 1 pointr/answers

Well, while looking for that other link since I couldn't think of the name, I did find this which is just a padded gel Seat Cushion, though I imagine you'd want to find one way less expensive since 100 bucks seems like a bit much.

Edit: Here's a memory foam one for 25 bucks, says it's a car cushion but it's just a thing you put under your butt so I can't see any reason why you couldn't use it at something like a sports stadium (Those bench seats man...) or on a plane.

Get one of these for your chair

Allows for a lot more ventilation of your ass while sitting. I have the exact one and can vouch for its effectiveness.

u/carfo · 1 pointr/CX5

I have 2 kids and a CX5. Here are my recommendations:

VERY inexpensive all weather mats that cover well with some trimming required: (still amazed at how inexpensive these are given they also come with a cargo mat and they work great) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XQD4T9G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Seat backings (your kid(s) will kick your back seats with their dirty feet!)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N7AIRYD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s02?ie=UTF8&th=1
I like these because they don't sag like some other ones I've used

For seat protectors, I use these but honestly I used a towel for years in my old cx5 and benz and that worked fine too. Because of the seat backings I have, I don't even use the pouch on this thing
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008J3UD2U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s04?ie=UTF8&psc=1

lastly, some turtle wax spray for cleaning/protecting

[Pick up one of these] (http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-01-OEM-Jeep-Cherokee-XJ-Front-Heated-Seat-Pair-Switch-Center-Console-Mounted-/192162162417) and a set of these, slip them under the factory skins and wire it up. Boom, heated seats.

u/FutureDiarrheagasm · 1 pointr/f150

I got some cheap ones to throw on the seat after work. They aren't attractive but they are easy to put on and remove. I only want them on after work so they're perfect for me.
