Have you talked to her ped at all?

Beyond that, there are legit children's chew toys that you could get her and make a big deal about it being the best most awesome thing to stick in her mouth ever, and always redirect her to one so she's got something safe.

My son has a couple of these (Chewy Tubes Super Chew Knobby, 2 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007C5J1Z6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_rciRzb3QYC4YQ) that we used to give him when he was in this mode.

Meet fishy, fishy big balls. My husband and I giggled like little girls everytime our daughter played with this at Granma's house.

Not that it applies now and you probably have seen it, but when Toddler_Snow started teething at ~4 months, we got him a teething blanket. I only say something because I had no idea it existed before then. I'm just trying to share the tools.

So... this?

Chewy Tubes makes something similar. I've never tried their products, but I've heard from a few people that the Chewy Q's are quite nice, so I'm betting the knobby chews are good too. Maybe search for "knobby" as well?

I would second the recommendation to buy a pacifier clip. Especially if you would like it be habit forming because it will always be by your side. I can actually sleep with it overnight now. It makes me feel really liddle. Amazon has some pretty cute ones:

For example - these worked great for me:

Someone told me about Pacifier Pouches and I love using them to carry my throws. But they only fit one (1) yoyo, so if you're wanting to fit more than one you'll need to find something else.

Our daughter was around that age last year and we got her a teething toy and Indestructibles books which are good for both reading and chewing!

u/sunriseslies · 2 pointsr/beyondthebump

We tried to use a pacifier because 1. we were gifted tons of them before he was born and 2. he used one during his NICU stay and his second hospital stay at one month. It really helped during those times when my ability to physically comfort him was limited. Then he just grew out of it when he was about 2.5 months old. No idea why. We tried a little to reintroduce it now that he's teething to see if it would give him some relief (and because of this research that says they reduce the risk of SIDS because he has a health condition that raises his risk) but he's not game. He's found other ways to help him self sooth though. He loves to nom on his plushys, those old school ice teethers and his buggy loop.

u/Amberella91 · 2 pointsr/beyondthebump

Just use at your own risk I guess. I would look it up online as I did. The strange thing is it says they can have a reaction (ranging from sever to even fatal) on the first use or after several uses.

This is what I bought in place of that though:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B077HRZBZW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1522843702&sr=8-1&keywords=nuby+teething+gel

And this was also recommended:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004RCYVBG/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1522843741&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=punkin+butt+teething+oil&dpPl=1&dpID=41RRSnwNOHL&ref=plSrch

A friend told me to talk to the pediatrician and save the orajel because once they are a bit older I may be able to put it on my nipple in case of soreness. Just make sure to consult your doctor first! Good luck!

Oh, I love this! (I'll look for baby stuff tonight.)

We've had success with Sofi the giraffe, razbaby razberry teether, the links made to connect toys to the baby gym or stroller, and Nearbyme Baby Teething Toys, FDA Approved BPA-Free Soft Silicone Fruit Teether Set with Pacifier Clip / Holder for Toddlers & Infants, 5 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T9C7H4G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_tcYYDbE7TVNTW

For pacifiers we like mam

Does she take a pacifier? I have one of these I can send you! Elodie refuses to take a pacifier so she's just played with it like a stuffie. https://www.amazon.com/Nookums-Paci-Plushies-Cow-Universal-Pacifier/dp/B00ZPWWVVE

u/JillyKitt · 1 pointr/littlespace

Nope, I don’t want to support that company because they’re problematic when it comes to trans people. I get them off Amazon, a pack of 3 is like 15 bucks. Here’s a link if you’re interested! LINKY

She may just need to learn to put her pacifier back in herself. At that age, she should be capable of doing so but may need help with a Paciplushie - we've been using these with our daughter (she likes Soothie pacifiers) since birth and she's able to easily find and replace her pacifier if she wakes up in the night without it.

[This is the toy my baby was able to use earliest because it's easier for little babies to hold the "stem"] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MDMLT9Y/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) she prefers the flower one over the other version (we have both)

u/amaltheas2 · 1 pointr/beyondthebump

Baby E loves it, it's one of the few toys that she hasn't "moved on" from. As far as teethers go, this fish teether is by far her favorite, once it thaws out, Sophie is her second favorite.

u/ADKitten · 1 pointr/beyondthebump

My son is almost 6 months (this Friday!) and he loves this teething blanket. There's a crinkly corner that he adores chomping down on. :)

I agree that baby play mats are great, and you can never have too many books. Lift the flap books are especially good for babies under 1.

For a bouncer/play saucer I really liked the Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo. It is a bit pricey, but my daughter looooved it. Hundreds of hours of entertainment, and a good place to leave the baby while you use the bathroom or whatever. We also got a hand me down non-bouncing play saucer and she didn't like it nearly as much.

For a noise machine I really liked the Munchkin Nursery Projector and Sound System. It is reasonably cheap ($20), it shows a soothing slowly moving projected image, it plays a good variety of sounds, and it is voice activated so you can set it to turn on if your baby wakes up. You can also use just the white noise on a timer with the other features off, so it is like a white noise machine with some good bonuses.

Since it sounds like you walk a lot, you also might think about getting a baby carrier that will be good for when your daughter gets bigger and heavier. I have found the Ergo really comfortable, and you can keep using it up to 45 lbs. My daughter is 27 lbs and I am 5 months pregnant and it is still comfortable. (I only used the moby a little bit, but it seemed better suited for smaller babies. I might be wrong about that.)

As far as smaller toys go, my daughter's all time favorites were the Kids Preferred Amazing Baby Blanket Teether Bear and the Nuby Bug A Loop.
