If you live in an area where you can't keep the windows open because of creepycrawlies getting in, then a window net mesh screen. (I used this but there are other variants)
Saved me from so much stress!

Just be careful setting it in, it doesn't take long, 10 minutes at most. And don't fall out of the window, be careful! :V

Its from Farmers in NZ sorry! Its nearly summer here so we got one with a mosquito net to keep out the flys, mozzies, cat etc. Maybe you can get the net separately?
