These are kind of like sore hocks which can be from having been on wire grates, or hard slippery surfaces.

They can also be cause by carpet like rug burn if she runs a lot...

If so far you don't notice anything off about her behavior and this causing discomfort you can try the things below to see if they remedy the situation.

Bag Balm can applied to the sore skin to moisten in and help healing, it's safe for bunnies. You an even use a baby sock over it for a while to help it along. Helps sooth and protect the sore spot. If you can't get bag balm you can use Vaseline, but Bag Balm is for sure better.

What do you use for flooring? Wire bottoms will definitely cause these.... but also some more abrasive materials, such as some carpets or slippery surfaces like hardwood or tile where the bunny slides might be too rough and might cause almost like rug burn to bunny if bunny runs around a lot especially.

You can try to add a it of softer fabric to the area she spends most time in from cheap flannel fabric over some yoga mats to soft bath rugs, and fleece blankets.

  1. I like this blanket as it is very soft
  2. Also heard that foam bath mats from could be quite good. They are soft and sort of have the same silky smooth almost like soft suede feel here.
  3. Read also that snoozy mat might be good https://www.amazon.com/Precision-Pet-SnooZZy-Sleeper-Jumbo/dp/B00028J0CO?th=1

This is the type of mat I was talking about in my other post. If you try to lower my cat onto it she will act like you are about to drop her in a vat of acid. Your cat might like the mat though so find something she hates and put it under the toilet paper until she moves on to something else. Good luck!

When my son had this problem (Btw, I did not worry or try to intervene and let him grow out of it- which he did, around age 10) I bought 3-4 soft microfiber bathmats. He would sleep on one (over the sheets) and I would replace it in the morning with a fresh one. They are designed to be really absorbent and I rarely had to change the sheets. Survived many many washings without problem.

I've got a fleece lined underneath and bathmat on top! I got this one, it's pretty easy to clean so far and the girls love it! https://www.amazon.com/Freshmint-Bathroom-Machine-Washable-Microfiber-Absorbent/dp/B07M7DDPBG

You have paintable surfaces, so you have options!
You said beachy, so I'm going with it. Hey a shower curtain that uses the beige so that the tiles become background and not focal. Like this: https://smile.amazon.com/Econie-Landscape-Waterproof-Polyester-Livingroom/dp/B0748DBG28/
Then paint the walls a bright blue, and the cabinet a beachy white blue. Trim around the window bright blue.
(On the Behr site, I'm looking at Rushing Stream for the walls, and can Niagara Mist for the cabinets)

Edit: forgot to say, blue bathmat and towels! And try sprucing up the soap dispensers. Either replacing, painting, or mosaicing.

These are the ones I've bought and seem to hold up and look pretty good.

Use hooks like these to hang some framed artwork above your toilet. You might not be able to keep a plant in there but you can get a painting of one.
Then this chunky knitted bathmat in dark teal and a wicker basket for toilet paper, to get some welcoming textures in there.

Dude, that's so great about your job! I'd say happy cake day, but it feels more like pumpkin pie day to me :) I'd love a surprise!! I have lots of wishlists with items in that range! (For example, this bath rug is in that range. Please surprise me with something you find cool though!)

$10 is a hard price point but maybe something that speaks directly to her major? First thing that came to mind was this bloody bath mat. Hopefully the daughter would think this is cool and not be scared of it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075MXFGWD/

I got one of these persians from my grandma - according from the pricetag from the 1980s she paid freakin 2000 DM ?! (~1000€ ). I left it with my mom in the end since my cat at the timed peed on everything and it was so big i had no idea how to clean it. (4x4 or something. It filled my livingroom from Wall to Wall ) my mom put it in her bedroom now which is a pet free zone. It has to get professional cleaned which isnt cheap.

Got some patchworkrugs (maybe wrong word) for like.... 15€ a Piece. ( https://www.amazon.de/dp/B078XSRMQM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_freMDbAWMAMHC These)

If they arent nice anymore (bf keeps walking over them in workshoes despite me telling him to leave them OUTSIDE and sometimes the cat throws up on them) i throw them in the washer & dryer and be good. You just need to be careful since they get heavy af once wet.

I also put bathroom rugs in the bedroom. Its nice and fluffy under your feet when you force yourself out of bed in the morning.

Amazonlinks just because its easy to find stuff there and im not sure if i translated the words correctly

Its not a persian, but a cheap colourful rug that wont fall apart if you put strain on the material

Edit: i live in a thrown together flat since we have limited financial options - but our furniture is mostly black or white so it doesnt look to crazy.

I LOVE YOU! Batman is my absolute favorite! I have a huge collection and I am always looking for more stuff to add. This is just part of my collection
Probably the most expensive batman thing that I have on my WL is this. Seriously one day I will own it and cherish it and love it .

I'm looking at houses right not and really would love for this to be done, plus i just think its down right..... awesome.

MY PARENTS ARE DEEEEEEEAAAAAD!!!! but if you ever want to talk about batman for hours and hours...I'm your girl :)

I got:
a working NES with Super Mario Bros 1, 2, & 3, Legend of Zelda (gold cartidge), The Adventures of Link (gold cartidge), Dr. Mario - with the original box!, Mega Man 2, and RC Pro-AM Racing
Posable Mass Effect 3 "Minimates" of ManShep, Ashley, Wrex, and Garrus
Figurines of Link from Phantom Hourglass and Zelda from Ocarina of Time
The Art of the Mass Effect Universe
Mass Effect Library Edition Volume 1
"POP!" figurines of Garrus and Grunt
Steam Gift Card (which has so far purchased Mount and Blade Warband and the Ghostbusters game)
Miniature Bat-signal (it works surprisingly well)
Venture Brothers Season 5 on Blu-ray

My birthday is the day after Christmas, does that also count? I got:
A sweet Hyrule map puzzle
Anamaniacs DVD (Season 1)
My friends sBruced up my batroom (or spruced up my bathroom for the pun intolerant) with a custom blue and white batman symbol bathroom sign affixed to my batroom door, a bat-shower curtain, a classic Detective Comics poster to go with my existing Dark Knight Returns (the comic) poster, a bat-toothbrush/utility holder, a bat-soap dispenser, a bat-rug, and a bat-towel (link also features my existing shower curtain holders).

Not sure if this counts, but I also got a kit to make a working ornithopter (I'm a giant nerd for robots and the like). I also bought The Last Unicorn for myself but I think that's probably cheating.

I am quite pleased...I may have yelled "I HAVE AN NES" five or six times...an hour...all day...

The reviews on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Bloody-Bath-Mat-Footprints-420x1000mm/dp/B075MXFGWD#customerReviews) are bad, mostly because of the quality / durability of the material.

I've been dealing with a very similar problem. In my case, my cat was fine health-wise (vet trips, blood/urine tests, etc). She was urine marking next to whatever litter box my other cat used. She ruined the hardwood floors at my front door when the litter boxes were in the entry closet, she peed on the kitchen cabinets when the boxes were nearby, she peed on the carpet and walls next to the litter box when it was in a different place.

Vet tried giving me anti-anxiety medication, but she wouldn't take it no matter how I tried giving it to her. Even in a compound formula that tasted like fish. I ended up having to separate my two cats, putting my other one downstairs in my rec room (large open area that she favors), and keeping the problem cat on the main floor.

She still peed outside the box that they had used to share, so I put a new litter box in a new location that had never been used before. She kept doing it, which the vet thinks is because it became normal behavior for her after 5-6 years.

So I put the litter box in the bath tub of a spare bathroom, and put down several of these moisture absorbent mats next to the tub. They soak up all liquids instantly and do a pretty good job holding in the urine smell. She started peeing on just the mats, finally eliminating the need to constantly clean up after her. I just put the mats in the washing machine once a week to clean them. And get this - she's gotten so used to peeing on the mats, that if she needs to go while they're being cleaned, she'll actually pee IN the litter box, but only when the mats aren't there. Weird, huh. They've been a life saver. And amazingly, despite being separated, both of my cats are happier than they've ever been.

Also, I used this bio-enzyme cleaner to clean up the urine stains. It contains bacteria that feed on the urine crystals. Does a really good job.
