There are travel compressed towels that are actual towels. I've seen cheap ones in the 90s.

My daughter used to come up to me after bathtime. Daddy, I'm a frog ribbit, ribbit ribbit, then she'd hop off to the kitchen or her room. Other daughter would come out roaring like a lion. It was cute as hell. They had these cute towels though.

Edit: oh yea, and she was 5 at the time.

Turkish towels. Super aesthetically pleasing, moderately absorbent, light, dries fast, doesn't collect a lot of sand, and you can also use it as a light throw!

Amazon $18

I have a couple of these and I love them. They really are great versatile towels. But man I can't believe they got a deal. They aren't doing anything proprietary or interesting, literally just re-dying and repackaging a product that has been around for decades. It bothers me that people would buy these towels from them because there's no way anyone should pay $50 for one.

I'm preparing gift bags for my bridesmaids with earrings, a robe, fun chocolate (red velvet cake flavored!), and a turkish towel like this.

Ahh sorry your birthday was lousy =( When it rains, it pours. My best friends has pretty much the same relationship with her mom: none and she likes it that way. A piece of advice I can give after knowing her for so long is to stick to your gut. If you don't want to see her, don't see her. If she wants to contact you and you want to give it a shot, it should be through a phone call or letter. If you don't want to contact her, you shouldn't feel guilty for it. You're going with your gut and only you know whats best for you.

You have a lot of gel pens on your WL and [these] (http://www.amazon.com/TEKwriterUSA-Gelwriter-Rotating-100-Count-27131-D/dp/B00B80SOVI/ref=wl_it_dp_v_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=8FEVUSVIFHHP&coliid=I1DNQFL3VN2P58) are your highest ranked. I can tell you do a lot of scrapbooking and gel pens are def a must =). You also said in your description that you love books so maybe you can use these pens to write your own!

I would really like a gift card. Whether you do the 20 dollar gift or 5, not too picky on the amount.

Welcome home!

When I lived in a dorm, it was full of that fake niceness where everyone wanted to get along, but they were all judging you. Just ignore it, put all the bull shit aside, and really try to make real friendships. I met some of my best friends in the dorms. Don't be a shut in, try and make friends (even with just one or two people). Also you need to invest in a towel wrap like this (which would also make a great gift for your bday) and an over the door shoe rack. The wrap is great for showers because it holds itself up so you don't feel naked and you can have both your hands free. The over the door shoe rack is great for cleaning supplies, extra toiletries, school supplies, whatever, but it makes great storage.

These are the best oversize bath towels I've ever had. They are squished on arrival, fluff up after washing, dry with heat then 3-4 times on cool to remove all lint. Soft, thick, luxurious.

So something called Turkish bath towels seem to be popular on a lot of blogs I've read. I saw them sold everywhere in spain but marketed as bleach blankets. They're oversized and super thin so they dry quickly but are really absorbent. Here's a link just as an example but you might be able to find them cheaper if you look around a bit. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M54P9VY?psc=1

Also a must have that some people forget about until they need it is Toilet paper

Costco. Charisma is the brand they carry. I would be very hesitant to order something online that I can't see or feel. I don't know shit about the manufacturing process, I just know they feel great, work well with great absorbency, and last forever.

Traditional Pestemal Turkish woven towels absorb and dry faster than the fluffy towels we traditionally use as bath towels.

It is what they use in Turkish baths, where towels are a serious business.

If you google Pestemal you will find they come in an assortment of patterns and from many vendors.

I have this microfiber towel; it rolls up VERY small and I'd recommend it to other travelers.

For the travel guide: Can you get it on an ereader app for your phone or tablet if you're worried about space?

Happy cake day sweetie!!!

I heard that these sheets are really nice. If they don't work, my favorite is Jersey Knit sheets. Can't go wrong! :)

I could really use this towel it would actually wrap all the way around me and that would be stellar. If you wanna do something else, feel free to surprise me I win!
