If you go over to a shop like Nitori or even a hypermarket like AEON or Daiei, you can find all sorts of things that are designed to go under your futon. The have foam mats, in various qualities, plastic and wooden frames, temporary or movable tatami, and even proper mattresses.

Way back in the day, when I was broke, I used to sleep on two futon, but these days, foam mats are quite reasonable starting at about ¥2000.

Good luck

Yeah. Almost tougher to do with a partner, at least for me. I need to be relaxed, and I'm not if there's someone else there.

You guys are reminding me though that I really do need to invest in one of these.

This is a nice one! Two looks in one! This one is also really neat! Hope she finds something she likes!!

First of all, congratulations are in order. :)

Dab and press with a dry cloth. If there is any smell, then try rewetting and then dabbing dry again. If you've got the funds, get a Fascinator Throe or a cheaper bed pad if on a budget. Lay that on top of the bed before play to prevent future soak through mishaps.

Enjoy.

How about this AWESOME Totoro bed?!

It might not be as weird as Kangaroo scrotum purses, but it's definitely unique! Maybe in the future, we will all sleep on animals, like they did on the Jetsons.

I tend to do a couple cotton blankets( you don’t have to). Eddie Bauer Herringbone Chrome Cotton Blanket, Full/Queen, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EHCQ88O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_eLk3CbBFS4T30 this is just an example. I prefer something with a grid design so I know I’m putting it on right. You don’t have to though. A cotton blanket with a throw on it might work better for you. Layering can be easier for summer. Utopia Bedding Woven Cotton Blanket Breathable, Cotton Throw Blanket and Quilt for Bed and Sofa, Grey https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J82V4II/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_9Sk3Cb6GQ8JKE is another option. You can of course get a fluffy comforter but there are other options. You can always put the comforter away in summer. You can also buy a bed sized throw. Also using 2 throws is an option (for bigger beds or get a say queen throw). For me layering works better. You get to choose how you layer. A friend does a cotton blanket and jersey knit throw over it in summer. You can always add a puffy comforter on top. A coverlet is also an option. Comfy Bedding Extra Lightweight and Oversized Thermal Pressing Leafage 3-Piece Coverlet Set (King/Cal King, Beige) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072C569XL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_.2k3Cb18HFTW7 as an example. You can pick what you like and layer or don’t layer. I’m just pointing out you don’t have to sleep on the comforter in summer. You can put it up or order something for summer and see how you like it. You can add a comforter at winter. Not everyone uses comforter sets. Links are just examples, pick what you like and buy what you like wherever.

I don't have a picture in brighter lighting unfortunately! However I did find out that it's from the brand "Xhilaration" and I think they sell solely at Target. The name of the pattern is Eclectic. Here is a better picture, but I'm not sure if they sell it anywhere anymore :/

If money want an issue I'd get this totoro bed. It looks so comfy and it's totoro, which I loved as a kid, before Disney ruined it!

I don't actually use bookmarks!... so much as random pieces of paper. I want to hang it on the WALL. I work at a publishing company that sells books. Naturally it would do well on my board at work.

u/atomic_bonanza · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Totoro bed. Though I found some on ebay that are a little bit cheaper. Yes I'm an adult who wants a giant totoro bed. Don't judge me.

[This] (http://www.amazon.com/Totoro-Design-Bigsofa-2-7x1-7m-Sleeping/dp/B00BQ3HVHK/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=YFAIB8TWHS24&coliid=I3G4MLF1NSJJW2) is my most expensive item on my wishlist.

A Totoro bed? Who WOULDN'T want one? I'd love it, and I wanted something nice for my basement to watch movies on. My matress is also giving out on me and i think it would be super comfy. I mean, I could live on without this, sure, but I wouldn't want to. Its just too cute <3

A piping kit is quite a good idea, I got one for Christmas and I've used it lots of times since. This one has a good set of eight basic nozzles, all with relatively small openings, so maybe good for decorating but leave them off for bigger piping jobs. You could also try a duo colour kit like this one for him to experiment with colours and patterns.
