Thank you for posting this, I'm glad someone did since I've been wanting to discuss my solution. Amazon sells different catheters that also quality for Prime shipping (gotta save that money).

• This ones a comfort fit with a spill proof collection back. As you can see you avoid having to do any insertion. Only downside is you don't get the security of a normal catheter that sits in the urethra.
  
  
• Here's another one that also comes with a strap, no matter how big or small you are it should fit fine.
  
  
• You can also get the regular variety that requires insertion. And pair it with this bag here. It's not as comfortable but you don't have to worry about accidental leakage in your raws.

Congrats! If you're in that stage of pregnancy where you're peeing more than normal (which is most of it, IIRC), a urinal might be a really nice thing to have. We use things like this in the hospital, and I've taken one with me to burning man for years now, and it saves me from the trek to the portos in the middle of the night.

At home they get up and walk 15 feet to a flush toilet.

I'm not really sure what peeing overnight has to do with smelling in the day time. You lost me there. Unless your urethra is abnormal (e.g. hypospadias), males should not have a big problem peeing into a bottle. In any case, it's between that guy and maybe his tentmate and nobody else.
