Although the liberator feels nice, it actually doesn't do a good job of soaking up the liquid. I just got a new squirt-friendly blanket from Amazon that I love, and it's worked very well so far.

( THROWS OF PASSION Waterproof... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075WZGFJG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share )

I also have waterproof mattress protectors and have even soaked through those on good days, so being able to absorb volume is what matters to me.

I also take puppy pads with me to other partners' homes or to sex parties so that I don't leave big puddles everywhere, haha. Look for super absorbent ones.

Good luck!

Whilst this may not help, your fiancé is a lucky man, as he has a lady who is able to SHOW him how much she enjoys herself with him. I envy him.

As to the actual question asked, you may with to consider a specialist waterproof sex blanket such as the Liberator https://www.amazon.com/Liberator-Fascinator-Throe-Moisture-Resistant-Blanket/dp/B00EOXYQPE

This will let you enjoy your delightful ability without the worry of cleanup apart from just throwing the blanket into the wash.

You’d also likely benefit from water borne sex too, such as in the shower or bath, where your ejaculate can disperse easily.

Hope this is of some help, and please don’t be put off on any way

Where have you looked? I found one on Amazon for around $100

That's 20lbs, it says get a weight that's 10% of your body weight

u/Cuntpuncher27 · 16 pointsr/harrypotter

It does. I purchased one for my secret santa for the Harry Potter exchange last year. It comes in all the houses and a Hogwarts crest one too, I believe. There's also a Marauders Map. Here is the Ravenclaw one.

u/Gullex · 13 pointsr/Bushcraft

Wool blankets aren't cheap in general. You can check military surplus stores, maybe Goodwill. I've gotten some good deals at rendezvous in Wisconsin.

Here is a decent option.

worth every penny.

u/thatstoomuchman · 12 pointsr/ptsd

Thanks for this, after looking at the website you provided I found one cheaper on Amazon, by a significant amount. I wanted the extra large blanket on sensory goods which was 58" X 80" and 21 pounds. With the discount code it cost 143.99.

On Amazon I found this weighted blanket that was 60" X 80" and 20 pounds for 85.90. This is what I ended up purchasing.

u/Maxxters · 11 pointsr/sex

There are products like the liberator that are waterproof blankets that you lay on your bed to protect the comforter/sheets underneath. You might also want to get a waterproof mattress cover to protect the mattress itself for when you do have sex without putting something down first.

Lets see what we can find...

Banners and Pennants: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven

Wall Stickers: one, two, three

Bed Things: one, two, three, four, five

Mugs: one, two

Seal: one

Curtains: one, two, three, four

Lights: one, two, three, four, five

Mascot statue: raven, eagle

Hour Glass: one

Edit: I really suggest wandering around target, costco, walmart, and especially goodwill looking for themed items. You'll be surprised what you come across.

Also, what colors are you doing? Blue/bronze like the books, or blue/silver like the movies? And eagle or raven mascot?

They come in different sizes, actually. But one based on your weight. For me, I have the 15 lb for 140lbs.

I have been unable to sleep through the night for years. Maybe life. I'm not sure, I don't really remember. I'll lay in bed for an hour or two before I finally fall asleep. And halfway through the night, every night, on schedule, I'm awake between 3-4am crying and experiencing an anxiety attack.

But I got this blanket a week ago and I've been out like a light throughout the night. I just feel so comfortable and safe and warm. Sometimes it's a pain to adjust because it's so heavy and I'm so wimpy, it does get hot sometimes because I turn into a nuclear reactor when asleep apparently, and FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THINGS HOLY DON'T FART (it'll stick around ALL night. ALL. NIGHT.) But it has helped me feel human. I feel good. I haven't had an anxiety attack at night since I got this.

Here's the one I got if you were looking for a recommend: YnM Weighted Blanket

Have you looked into any special "sex blanket" that you can put under yourself. When you're done throw it in the washer.

I had to sleep under one of these in one of my psych hospital stays, I thought they fucking sucked, they were so uncomfortable, they just irritate your entire body

u/edubkendo · 3 pointsr/sex

Get a waterproof mattress protector to go under your sheets. As for the wet spot, we just throw a towel over it and change our sheets on our regular schedule. Other people like to use something like https://www.amazon.com/Liberator-Fascinator-Throe-Moisture-Resistant-Blanket/dp/B00EOXYQPE . Another common suggestion is putting down puppy training pads (which seems super unsexy to me, but some folks don't seem to mind).

20-30 orgasms is a lot. That’s like hitachi / powertools territory. Are you two pounding it out? Or going slow and passionate? Maybe try slowing it down a bit.

u/Aethyr42 · 3 pointsr/insomnia

Usually between $100-$300+ and may or may not work for more than a week or so.

u/werfw · 3 pointsr/sex

Maybe look into a sex blanket so that you don't have to worry about ruining anything.

It's kind of expensive there, but I'm sure you can find them cheaper elsewhere.

u/Yiskra · 3 pointsr/SPD

I found a good price on Amazon for one. There are now 3 floating around my house. Mil has a 15lb one for anxiety/depression and has noticed a marked difference in her sleep. We bought a lighter one for my 7 year old son who is autistic and has Spd. He loves his and will steal ours (the 15lbs ones) regularly. I also have a 15lb one that I've noticed helps a lot with spd and anxiety.

I definitely say go for it! You can get minky duvet covers too.

Amy Garden Weighted Blanket for Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, Insomnia or Stress - Premium Various Weighted Blankets for Great Sleep (48"x72",15 lbs for 140-150 lbs individual, Grey) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074SHCL41/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_HfldBb1WGX987

This one also has a coupon to take another 11 bucks off of it, so making it in the 70s.

Most duvets seem to run about 40 to 50. You can find them on Amazon too. May find some cooler ones on Etsy.

u/quityerpeckin · 3 pointsr/blogsnark

I️ actually just got a weighted blanket for myself from Amazon—the brand is Calmforter (hope I️ did that link correctly!)

It’s amazing—I️ love it, and my sleep quality has gotten so much better. I️ did a lot of price comparing too, and I️ think it’s just an expensive product. Every time I️ found something that was under about $150, I️ got all excited only to find out that the low price was for a kid-sized blanket. Mine is 12 pounds, which I️ think is technically a few pounds lighter than recommended for my body weight, but I’m very happy with it.

u/andrewbadera · 3 pointsr/BuyItForLife

Ha, well, the first one I really liked was Italian army surplus that had been mothballed in a limited lot for years, perhaps decades. Pretty soft, pretty durable: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CX8U1CE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The most recent one is very soft, not yet sure how durable, had it a year, no wear, no outside use (which was the biggest benefit I thought of my parents'): https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D1AJVHY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have one more that is older than the Italian army, it's probably the roughest, it's endured outdoor usage and indoor. It's a little scratchy, but nothing like my parents' Vietnam stuff. Unfortunately I don't remember where I got it. EBay maybe, at least 5 years ago, possibly more like 10-15.

I had one other that got lost in a move. It was pretty durable, but again, fairly rough, and no idea where it came from.

I've been using it for about two weeks now and love it. It can get kinda warm, but it's not unbearable. I also have a fan directly over my bed. If I don't turn it on I've woken up too hot once or twice. I'm in Denver and we've had some pretty hot days since I got it.

I see you like Harry Potter. I am a fan of this throw. Or you could get the Marauder's Map! This is also really cool. You need.

I love Harry Potter collectibles. I'm in the process of acquiring all the Horcruxes right now.

If I win I really need a new pillow. It's $1.50 over, so a giftcard towards it would be amazing.

Edit: luckily, the beads don’t roll around very much since the blanket is made of little squares so they can’t roll that far.

Just was looking at my old comments, and figured I’d add the additional info.

If you order from Amazon I think they ship to Canada as well (not sure so you gotta check on that).
For your weight I think the 10-lb blanket is what is recommended based on the suggested 10% of body weight I had seen everywhere.
I picked this one because it had the 3 x 3 quilts so the weight is exceptionally distributed. It also comes with a zipper inside and outside to secure the blanket to its cover so there is virtually no movement inside the cover.

u/PreExistingAmbition · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

The most expensive and most outrageous on all my lists would be this weighted blanket
Plus this [cover] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0753L52YX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6AkUzbCQYXQJF)

The only other items in an even comparable price range is Rosetta Stone software and a 10pc set of copper ceramic cookware.

u/ThereRRules · 2 pointsr/sex

Laying down a towel can work in a pinch, but after one too many times of a towel just not doing the job we invested a few bucks in a decent waterproof fuck blanket. This one in particular, which I will wholeheartedly vouch for. There's also the Liberator Lush throw, but at 3x the price, I'd rather spend the savings on something a little more fun... ;)

u/functional_miranda · 2 pointsr/AskWomen

There was a $10 coupon on it so it was 120. it was this one. :/ I couldn't find anything cheaper and had read through some threads about people trying to make their own and it sounds like it's pretty difficult because once some of the weights are in the bag, it's hard to move the blanket around the sewing machine. It sounds like /u/thumper5 got a smaller one, which tend to be cheaper so you could look into those! I got this one because it's a little more than 10% of my bodyweight, which apparently is the sweet-spot if you're covering your whole body.

From what I understand, it's supposed to help people who suffer from anxiety. Amazon describes them as follows --

"Amy Garden Weighted Blanket for Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, Insomnia or Stress - Premium Various Weighted Blankets for Great Sleep"

u/ChurnThemGrapes · 1 pointr/aspergers

I'll add that I don't have many skin sensitivity sensory issues, but it doesn't seem scratchy to me and I sleep naked underneath it, though you could probably just put it on top of whatever blanket you currently use.

I don't have any issues with excessive heat, but I tend to only use that blanket and also I keep the temperature at 68 F at night in the winter. I imagine I won't be able to use it much in summer, but it works for now.

Ive only had it for two months, though, but I have no complaints so far.

u/JL9berg18 · 1 pointr/CampingGear

-Don't buy a tent or backpack right now. You're on the east cost so you should have REI, EMS, and maybe some other outfitters too. Not only because you can try out different kinds, but also because hardly anyone really needs a backpacking backpack and they tend to be 200$ spacefillers in your closet. Buying a tent will likely be useful down the road but being able to rent a backpacking one vs a car camping one will keep quality up and costs down and be way more convenient at this point. Also, borrowing gear for trips is very much accepted as part of the culture. Also, to your point of camping places you can fly to, if it's in Can/US/Europe, I'd recommend using the rental option even more strongly. (Though if you don't hike more than 5 miles or so a day, travel a lot, and don't have to have a backpacking backpack, the Osprey Farpoint 55 or 70 may be the last travel bag of any kind you'll ever buy. I LOVE this thing and have taken it on trips all over.)

-One extra thought re tents: KNOW HOW TO SET IT UP. 80% is self explanatory, but knowing where on the ground to set it up, and how to use the rain fly / guy lines can be the difference between you being dry in a surprise rain and being cold, wet, miserable, and you (or your s.o.) not wanting to camp again. Youtube and your outfitter store employees are actually excellent resources for this.

-Furthering that line of thought, rent this season, then troll craigslist and other local for sale apps (like Letgo, Offerup and Ebay) for what you know by then demonstrably works for you at the end of the season.

-Buying a sleeping bag is a good idea though. The rule of thumb is the degree rating is the temp at which you won't freeze to death, so add about 20-30 degrees for comfy sleeping. But you can save some money and add versatility if you also bring a packable down blanket or a sleeping bag liner (those are the ones I use). Because you're looking for value over total quality, you won't need something that extra 10-15% of size difference, and because rain will screw you up less, I'd probably recommend a polyester bag. (Down tends to me more expensive and you're SOL when it gets wet. People pay more because down bags tend to be warmer for the weight and space, and they're generally better for the environment.)

-I'd also recommend getting a sleeping pad, and generally rec air mattresses of at least 2.5" for side sleepers. (I got a couple Big Agnes Air Core Ultra Insulated ones on offerup for cheap and think they work great.) For car camping you can just get a Coleman air mattress from Target etc, but TRY IT OUT BEFORE YOU GO EVERY TIME because they tend not to last very long...I don't think I've ever had an air mattress last more than about 4 trips without starting the slow leak of death march.

-A 4 person tent is overkill and you would never want to bring that on a backpacking trip. If you do backpacking and want some room, a good two person tent (I use Big Agnes Copper Spur HV2 for backpacking, and an Alps Mountaineering 3 person for car camping, which is huge by comparison).

-Overgeneralization, but generally speaking budget tents and sleeping bags are garbage. I tend to buy used "bombproof" gear from people who realize they don't like camping after they buy the bombproof gear (or when they decide to upgrade). Again, reselling camp gear is very much a-ok with the camp culture. On VALUE vs Price, some companies have amazing guarantees and will repair / replace your gear at no cost forever. (Some brands are Patagonia, Osprey, Darn Tough socks, all of which are companies who make amazing products.)

-I'd also say you don't need a cast iron pan for camping except for the aesthetic. any pan will do, and a cast iron just adds weight and inconvenience (unless you're really handy with a cast iron). One thing I do recommend having though is a couple good sized dry bags. Not only because of their intended use, but because they also double as a scullery bin for washing dishes (turn it inside out though so you can later wash off the oils etc after you're done washing the dishes and pots and turn the bag right side out again).

Hope this helps. Good luck on your adventures!

PS and in re New England adventures, you cannot go wrong with spending 4 nights in Acadia NP / Bar Harbor ME.

Brace yourself and get a heated blanket. It's the best thing I ever did! Thanks for the contest. :)

If you need others to inspire you to help people you were never going to help people in the first place. Homelessness is not a new problem, it does not require social media exposure: People who take these photos and post these stories want their pat on the back and told they are a good person.

Edit: Also have some self awareness when doing this type of thing: The homeless do not want personal care items, they can get those from any shelter/church. Want to get them something? Warm underwear/socks in a ziplock bag (thermal or wool), a bottle of water (canteens might seem nice but they will often wind up lost/stolen/throw out when they become a burden) and a good blanket.

All clothing items: Launder them first, when they first reach you they will be painful to wear, spend the time to clean them.

Price depends on the size you need yo. I've never used one because I like the cold feeling I get in bed and warming up really slowly with a comforter or whatever.

This is the one I got https://www.amazon.com/Weighted-Blanket-Removable-ZIPPER-SYSTEM/dp/B07BPBHWLG/ref=sr_1_1?crid=XRABFGY1Q72X&keywords=serenity+engineered&qid=1570417142&sprefix=serenity+en%2Caps%2C170&sr=8-1
I have had mine for a good while so I can actually give you a good review. I absolutely adore mine, its very well made. I have washed the cover very many times and it has held up well. The blanket itself is the only one I came across that has zippers inside it to keep the blanket in place inside its cover, so no noise or moving issues inside the cover. It also has glass beads (almost non noticeable) & it had the very small quilts at 3x3 to help spreading the weight evenly. I could not tell you if the ones below 100 are good or bad since I have not used one of those 😊 I hope this helps you out.

  1. i sometimes use A good fan that downs out sound. I would link mine but it doesn’t seem like they make it anymore.
  2. A weighted blanket i got this one one. I do think i should have went for the 25 lb one though. It does make it so I’m not as anxious at night.
  3. if light is a problem i use this silk sleep masks. You get two so i have one in the car and one at home. I bought them when i was working overnights.
  4. I sadly don’t have earbud recommendation as i just use my echo as i don’t have to worry about waking anyone up. But i do listen to this playlist or sometimes i use this app if you don’t want to use the app for sleep sounds i believe Spotify also has them.
  5. i also bought super soft microfiber blankets that feel wonderful (although the brand i bought seem to have went out of business or something)
  6. i also bought 800 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets. (It was special Jennifer Lopez brand that only popped up for a bit and only found in stores) They have so far lasted longer and are softer than any sheets i have bought on amazon. I always have two sets of sheets in case i need to change it for some reason. I actually now avoid amazon for buying sheets as there’s a lot of tricks the brands on there try. There’s a brand called Egyptian Cotton that doesn’t sell Egyptian cotton sheets. There’s another brand that is like 1000 tc making you think it’s 1000 thread count but it’s not. I also found my 800 tc sheets are softer than the last 1800 tc sheets that ripped after a year. Go to bed bath and Beyond or similar store to buy them.

Edit: have you looked into the wireless headband headphones? I haven’t tried them but they have a good rating and fakespot hasn’t found any deception.

  1. This blanket because I'm a tiny bit obsessed with Harry Potter.

  2. This scale because it gives a lot more information than just weight which is more helpful in the weightless process. It would be helpful to know how my body fat/muscle/water weight/etc. is being impacted when my weight doesn't seem to be moving the way I'd like.

  3. This artwork because I'm also a little obsessed with The Legend of Zelda.

  4. This dress because it's perfect for valentine's day.

  5. This because it looks cute and comfy.

Your boss sounds great, and you do too. Thanks for hosting this :)

I like variety

Those foamy type blankets are very comfortable and make a good light weight blanket. I think they're called vellux and they have a kind of velvet texture.

then a good wool blanket, army surplus ones are the best. And there's an abundance of stuff on amazon.

Avoid anything made by rothco and avoid anything called disaster relief/first aid/rescue blankets or similar. Rothco products are grotesquely inferior, but it's kinda hard to mess up a blanket. Maybe they do ok. Judge for yourself.

However, the 'disaster blankets' are just disposable recycled compressed fibers and they degrade quickly. Only meant to keep people warm/comfort them for briefly when they have nothing else. They're commonly found in police crusiers and ambulances.

these are probably the best legit ones, but they are available under other listings from a variety of vendors. And there's a ton of options out there, the french and polish ones are pretty rugged and good for camping. Mexican style wool blankets are rad, but it's not as cool as going to Mexico and getting it yourself.

swiss

good ole murican milsurp, made for cuddling not outdoor adventures it's a literal safety blanket. I miss these things. Bear in mind it might be rank with fire retardant and first, so wash it with some woollite and it'll get all snuggly.

This, YnM brand is the type I have, i believe 17lb in a Full size? I adore it. Still need to buy a cover for it almost a year later but it’s softened up enough to not be uncomfortable on my skin, and the weights are distributed throughout the filling very comfortably

i think that ratio (1/3 of bodyweight) is a bit high amigo...

a 180lb person would be getting crushed with 60lbs on top of them all night

ive read the recommended ratio is around 10% of bodyweight

u/Apotropaic_Sphinx · 1 pointr/DIY

I'm normally pretty supportive of whatever crazy stuff ends up on this subreddit, but not this. If you really wanted to make a weighted blanket yourself you can get glass beads from arts and craft stores and sew them into a quilt or something (or just buy one they're not that expensive.)

What you made is garbage. It's not washable, it's not really breathable, the duct tape adhesive will eventually oxidize and the rice will fall out. Then it will attract insects (if it isn't already.)

I purchased mine a while a go and really happy with it. I chose it mainly because it had the zippers as I could not bare the thought of having to adjust the blanket inside its duvet when its that heavy & I also liked their smaller quilts. I bought mine off of the company website but now I've seen that they are also offering it on Amazon, here it is
Whichever you end up buying be sure it comes with a cover, mine is washing washable but not sure how I feel about having to wash a 15-lb blanket in my precious washer and dryer. The cover however is super to easy to wash ;)

I have 4 of them and they’re fantastic. I’ve used it over my sleeping bag on cold nights, or by itself on warmer nights.

They’re probably not at Costco right now (seasonal item) but I found them on Amazon here
