I read this book in 2015 because somebody on reddit recommended it in a "What's your favorite book" thread. The parallels in the book regarding how fear/mediocrity precedes the rise of fascism and what's been steadily happening since 2015 are...terrifying.

There is actually a book that was written a few years ago that was gaying up Pride and Prejudice. But I wouldn't call it an exact rewrite. As if I remember correctly (its been a while since I read it) Lizzie and Caroline ended up being the relationship. It was still pretty good though. https://www.amazon.com/Gay-Pride-Prejudice-Kate-Christie/dp/0985367709

There's also a lesbian Princess Bride since I saw some people commenting about that one. But I don't know how good it is, as I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G5NHB5N/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0

I've had pretty great reviews so far, and am super excited to get feedback on what people think of my work.

Thanks :)

I think you underestimate how popular Crowley's work was in the 70s. It wasn't merely as an adjunct to Hubbard's work. People experimented with everything.

Crowley was an interesting dude, no matter what the context. There was even a somewhat popular time travel with him as a key figure, The Door through Washington Square. (The book was only okay, but the setting was quite nice.)

Hi, everyone! I've got a new historical romance out, currently available on Amazon for $3.99 (or free for Kindle Unlimited readers). The length is approximately 100,000 words. If historical romance is your jam, I hope you will give me a shot!

His Favorite Mistake

Summary: James Bradford, Duke of Rushton, is a man obsessed with revenge. When his sister’s lover, the Earl of Westwood, refuses to wed her to save her from disgrace and give her child a name, he latches onto a nefarious scheme of his own: an eye for an eye. Or, more appropriately, a sister’s dishonor for a sister’s dishonor.

Lady Jillian Kittridge has been crossed in love before, with absolutely no inclination to set herself up for disaster yet again. At twenty-two, she is very nearly on the shelf and is simply awaiting the day that the funds set aside for her dowry will fall under her control. But when the handsome Duke of Rushton begins to court her, she finds herself unwillingly tempted.

The fact that James finds himself actually liking Jillian is an unwelcome complication. As his scheme draws ever closer to fruition, he wonders: Can he truly destroy the life of an innocent woman, a woman he admires and respects? Or has he been caught in his own trap?

It comes with a preview of my third novel, His Reluctant Lady, due out in January 2020!

The young adult novel Secrets of the Shopping Mall is definitely creepy and worth an afternoon's read.

It's nothing near the level of horror of the book you linked to, mind you.

So I finally released my first romance. All my Booksprout ARC readers ghosted me and so I ended up where I didn't want to end up: launching without any reviews lined up. I'm guessing this is probably the reason why it's not doing great.

But honestly, at this point any feedback/suggestions will be welcomed with open arm. Should I have put a buff dude on the cover?
