Not sure how much you're really looking to conquer those nipples. If hiding them is absolutely your goal, these will work. They're made of hard plastic for nursing moms: they catch leaks. You don't need that feature. But the outer shell is a good 3/4 inches from the inner shell, so your nipples can be huge and not even touch the outer shell.

For the price (less than $10), maybe worth a try?

If your breastfeeding grab lanolin and those booby pads:) You can freeze them or warm them up! Freezing helps with pain, and warming helps with milk flow.

They are called Booby Tubes!

Also, get some movies and snacks so you have something to do while baby is eating, the last thing you would want to do is fall asleep:)

I would recommend these!. I never had it while pregnant, but I did get crazy itchy while nursing and this helped the chaffed and itchy nipples :)

sexy nipples. I think those need some suction cups!

I'm pretty partial to this one. It's kinda pricey but it's fabulously soothing, and smells wonderful. A little goes a long way too I still haven't gone through all mine in 18 months. Which i don't use it super often mostly just when toddler was teething badly when he was a bit younger and his latch suffered. But when he was a newborn i used lanolin until my husband bought me this because i dont like lanolin's greasy feel. After that this is all I've ever used

I got about the same pumping with my freemie cups. I used to get 1-1.5oz per side now I get 2-4oz. But I used my old set up this weekend to do some quick pumping and needed to clean my cups and I got 3-4oz per side, so about the same.

Freemie flanges are 24, 28, and 32mm. They don't have smaller, but there are inserts made for the freemie cups by another brand to resize the flanges to 21mm. https://www.amazon.com/Maymom-Inserts-Freemie-Flanges-Collection/dp/B01HOSPXBQ (mobile sorry). I can't speak to them, I use the 28mm, but that might help.

I use my freemie cups 3-4 times a day back at work, and I'm happy to answer any more questions I can.

It鈥檚 just a plastic cover that is shaped similar to nipples on bottles. You wet it and it suctions around boob with holes in the nipple. I got mine from NICU but you can pick one up at either amazon or target . I have this one and it works great for me. If your LO prefers the bottle nipple this might help with the transition to the boob. Also, I usually hand express a little milk into the shield to jumpstart his sucking. Hope this helps!

I like the Haakaa. I also use these when I鈥檓 nursing to catch let down on other boob. But I鈥檒l also wear them out in public when my milk randomly decides to come in. The electric pump I use is the motif duo and I like it because it鈥檚 very compact so I can use it on the go if I really want to.

If your not ready to quit, then don't. Just put your mind to it. Pump at night to make up the difference you need to if you can, if not a little extra bottle of formula truly isn't the end of the world, there are also milk banks and pages on Facebook from what I understand. I don't use that type of social media so I am not familiar enough to advise.

I use medela adapters for spectra [medela flange] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000A88JZA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_biWxDbRMQ6AN7) and the pumpin pals, I use the blue silicon insert flange.

The first few times I pumped with it I felt like I wasied 40 dollars, but I stuck with it and my overall yield increased by more than 2 to 3 oz for the day. I don't pump a solid bottle every time I sit down at my pump, sometimes its a 2 or 3 oz bottle, next time it may be a 5 or 6 oz bottle. I don't go by what I pump per session, I try not to count, that's stressful. Now if I start having multiple days with 2 oz bottles all day then I know I need to add some power pumping in for a few days.

If you decide to use pumpin pals or want expert advice call the customer service department, the owner will answer the phone, he is extremely kind and knowledgeable when it comes to pumping even if you don't purchase his product. My second on flange, if you don't want to spend 40 dollars is the lactek, they are decent and better than the standard flange.

I have absolutely no nipple pain, sensitivity, or swelling post pump when using the pumpin pals. Those with a little nipple balm and a good forward lean feel as close to nursing at home as it gets imo.

In addition to the other great ideas you got already, I wanted to add one more thing that worked for me in early months: Ameda Breast Shells. They are these little plastic doohickeys (that's my technical term) with that can either help draw out inverted nipples (not what I used them for), or help shield tender nipples. It's basic keeps nipples exposed only to air (no rubbing on pads/against clothing or bras), and were a lifesaver for me. That plus lanolin really helped me get through the first month or so of nursing.

Get formula as backup, it lasts for years and you never know if the baby's going to respond to your breast/ or if you'll have lactation issues. If you do have problems with latching, nipple shields are a temporary solution, if you have flat nipples because of the size change in your boobs then you can buy a nipple everter instead so the baby doesn't have to try to adapt to silicone. Lansinoh Breastfeeding Starter Set for Nursing Mothers includes, 1 Lanolin Nipple Cream, 24 Stay Dry Disposable Nursing Pads, 2 TheraPearl Breast Therapy/ Latch Everter Set

Some babies dislike the taste of that brand of nipple cream, so you might want to get something else instead. Coconut oil is a cost effective, easy to find solution that's harm-free and good tasting/ smelling with no need to wash it off before feeding like some other products.

If your boobs are over-reactive to the letdown, you might want to get a manual suction breast pump to cover your nipple that's not being used for feeding. That way there's no wasted milk/ mess to deal with.

Some important things to remember is that if you want your milk supply to stay at a healthy level, every time you feed, you need to make sure your boobs get as empty as possible, to train your body that it needs to refill the boobs - rather than letting them get engorged. When that happens, your body starts to get the hint that you or the baby don't want the milk and production slows.

Also if you're stressed out, you might not be able to breastfeed at all, that's what happened to me. I'd spend half a day getting less than a cup of milk and had my daughter on me for several hours a day. It was pretty horrible. So the breast warmer in that link above should help with relaxing your boobs so you can let down, if that's a problem. Also making sure you have your own quiet place will help a lot if stress is an issue for you.

Yea I'd totally be interested. I used a nipple cream made from bees wax that was the bee's knees. I had never used a product with beeswax before, but it sparked my interest.

My only idea is wearing milk savers like these while you feed LO at night so you don't lose out on that milk.
