Just cheap-o caramel candy (example). I shape the caramels into disks so the final product has a better cookie shape (and I keep the caramel at room temp the entire time). Also, instead of rolling the stuffed cookies in sugar, I roll them in cocoa powder (for both types of cookies). I have omitted the cocoa powder/sugar rolling stage at the end, but the final product bakes strangely.

Either cookie is a huge hit with coworkers or at parties. People always request that I make either the caramel or peanut butter stuffed chocolate cookies or chocolate chip oatmeal cookies by KAF. I promise I don't work for KAF, in fact, I usually make this recipe change: store brand flour instead of KAF haha

Happy baking!

There is worse. You ever have Egg-Noggin? DONT.

My brother and I made one cup and fought over who would spit that crap into the sink first. AWFUL.

It's Chilean but made by an Italian Company

Those look absolutely delicious! They would be the perfect dessert to bring to a Thanksgiving potluck I'm attending soon.

Would these unwrapped caramel bits work just as well as the wrapped caramels as long as the same 14 oz quantity was used? They're made by Kraft and look like they'd work the same way but I'm curious if there's a specific reason not to opt for the unwrapped version.

Without having eaten the product, but with a background in food including recipe development, this product is very, to not put too fine a point on it, industrial.

The ingredients include several refined/contrived products, including peanut butter chips, peanut flour, starches, and synthesized flavorings. Some of these products won't be easy to find at retail.

That said, here's what you've got: Ingredients: Banana, Peanut Butter Chips (Certified Sustainable Palm Kernel Oil, Dried Cane Syrup, Peanut Flour, Soy Lecithin), Gluten Free Oat Flour, Peanut Powder, Coconut Palm Sugar, Coconut Oil, Coconut, Cassava Starch, Sea Salt, Banana Flavor, Peanut Flavor, Vanilla Extract, Cinnamon, Citric Acid, Vitamin C *Indicates Organic

Nutritional information is here. This may help you understand how much of certain things there are in the product: https://www.amazon.com/Barnana-Banana-Brittle-Variety-Count/dp/B078MZGN69/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=barnana%2Bbanana%2Bbrittle&qid=1554847948&s=gateway&sr=8-3&th=1

This is a cracker with oat and peanut flours and tapioca starch, coconut oil and sugar, peanut butter chips, all moistened by banana into a dough, and "naturally" flavored with extracts and cinnamon, topped with coconut.

Because this brittle contains oils and banana, the preservatives citric acid and vitamin C are important to maintaining the color and freshness of this product.

Sourcing these ingredients will be complicated and expensive. Developing a working recipe will require a lot of trial and error.

I'm going to have to hop off this recipe bus here, OP, but if you do it, I wish you well!

Hi! Unfortunately I did not escape the sickness. I have been feeling like death. I had to go to the dr yesterday. I had to get a shot of antibiotics and oral antibiotics. I was so feverish yesterday that I ended up having a terrifying fever dream. That was a trip!

Woo hoo for sexy outfits! And where did you find a lace hoodie? That sounds like something I would wear.

Nooo, don't go falling off stairs or breaking anything. It is not any fun. I actually had never broken anything before. I was pretty lucky as kid. I used to be quite the tomboy, so I really got lucky. I should be off my crutches in a week, then I'll be using a cane for a while. Crutches suck as much as you imagine they suck and then some. LOL

How nice that you have parents there. That's actually pretty cool. I understand not wanting to deal with the airport though. Don't forget to buy the delicious chocolate. I usually order a bag that has different chocolate bars like this: https://www.amazon.com/Cadbury-Selection-Full-British-Chocolate/dp/B01CD83O5E/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1487261765&sr=8-2&keywords=british+chocolate

I also like these https://www.amazon.com/Cadbury-Roses-Carton-331g/dp/B002XF23PU/ref=sr_1_49_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1487261879&sr=8-49&keywords=british+chocolate and these https://www.amazon.com/Cadbury-Chocolate-Eclairs-Orange-Twist/dp/B00JECL46O/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1487261932&sr=8-3&keywords=british+chocolate+eclairs

I think it's pretty generic candy, but British chocolate is much better quality than American chocolate. Our chocolate is garbage. You should give me some suggestions for Italian chocolate that I should look up.

I really want to travel to Italy. I want to eat and drink my way through Italy. lol I love coffee, so I also want to find good coffee. I would also like to visit England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, and a bunch more. I have always wanted to travel and can't wait to start. I can't wait to see the northern lights. That one on on my bucket list. What about you? Where do you want to go?

Those bath bombs are adorable. I bet they smell delicious! I have seen those with the prizes inside. The cost varies depending on what's inside.

Well, I first broke my foot about ten years ago when I stepped off a curb. I was trying not to trip on my then very young son who was getting underfoot. I stepped in a weird way and broke the 4th metatarsal in two places. It didn't heal properly. This time around we thing it was broke while I was in physical therapy for my back. I had back surgery a year ago and had to do physical therapy. Anyway, we think it rebroke when the therapist twas using my foot as lever age to help me stretch. It was so easy to re-break because it never healed properly. The bone in between the two breaks was weak and needed to be replaced, so I needed a bone graft. They took the bone graft from my heel, next to the Achilles tendon. The plate and screws hold the bone graft in place. The second plate is from the second surgery they had to do that same day. It is for arch correction. The second plate holds all that in place. My very high arch would have kept the bone graft from seating properly and it would not have healed properly. It was very painful. The break was painful, and the surgery was painful. The worst was the pain from the heel, where they removed the bone to use for the bone graft. The dr warned me that it would be the most painful, and she was not lying. LOL It still hurts some, but that's getting better too. I just can't wait for the whole thing to be completely healed. I had to put the physical therapy for my back on hold, and I can't wait to get back to that so I can get done with that too. My life is kind of in a holding pattern right now, so any progress I make is encouraging.

Werther's are OK, but Walkers Nonsuch FTW. I tried a bag a few years ago, and my mouth came something fierce. There's a little shop near me that sells UK stuff and I'll go there once in a while to get some.

Not a crafty- person but I [Upgraded my Dominion box] (https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc1/54820_10101069291298521_1028461713_o.jpg) cutting up an old cardboard box and using a bunch of index cards.

I really wish I was good with my hands and could do crafts like that. I have no idea what my ring size is.

Do you mean these "caramel bites" cookies ?

If so, they can be found at Trader Joe's here in the US.

u/darkpurple_ · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I don't have a dedicated food list, but I do have some random things scattered throughout my different lists. They're mostly little things that I have tried and different points and would fancy having again, but don't want them enough to spend the money. Like this cookie brittle for example, my SO got in a gift basket from her boss once and it was yummy but the only place I've seen it in stores was Ross (randomly? lol) and I don't go there often enough to buy it and it's not worth a trip out of my way. So instead, it's on my wishlist :)

I love Bigelow Egg Nogg its a black tea with all the spices that youd find in eggnog

u/lsjess616 · 1 pointr/PolishGauntlet

3L. Almost done with all this bullshit, but simultaneously, being dragged, kicking and screaming, into the real world.

Hmm. I got a case of it off Amazon for 20 bucks. But if you don't want to invest in a case, they will sell 1 box of it for 10 (=/). I bet that you'd see it in stores for the holidays though.

u/watchmedisapr · 1 pointr/proED

Bigelow spiced apple cider tea. It smells amazing and the taste is actually pretty full. I use two bags to a pot. It's cheaper in bulk on amazon

These are delicious, you might not be able to find the same brand where you are but if you see something like it - I highly recommend them! https://www.amazon.com/Lucys-Brownie-Crisp-Triple-Chocolate/dp/B00WFDNKRU
