WHAT THE SHIT you weren't joking.
As an Asian who likes spicy food, I recommend Indomie noodles. La Mian curry noodles are great as well but pretty expensive.
Yikes.

$35 for 5. Still nuts, but not as nuts.
You can get a 12 pack from Amazon - TOTALLY worth it IMHO:

Send some of it my way please. We've had 0.18cm of rain since the 1st of May, and 4.8cm of rain all sodding year. Before you go "oh, you're in California, shut up whinging with your constant sunshine", the only weather I see is fog, fog and more fog. The only variation is humid and grey or alternatively windy and cold and grey.
And they don't have the NHS. Or decent chocolate. And look at the price of a 12 pack of beans. Plus the colonials take facetiousness and sarcasm literally.
Sorry about all that, the sight of rain and suburban Britain has made me suddenly very homesick. I'm in dire need of a sit down with a cup of tea and a good old complain about things!
If you don't know Nong Shim Shin Cup then you NEED TO KNOW... There is no better. Shit'll cure a cold in 5 minutes.
Are you using these here?

I assume they are the same. I guess I will be ordering some as well!
Nissin Instant Cup Ramen Nakiryu Tantanmen 149g (Set of 4cups) Japan Import https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C7LFG8R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_DOorDbNJ5FR54
Youch
So this brand I'm actually not sure of because my Japanese is super rusty and I can't read it lol! But she did buy me two packs and honestly, all of the instant tonkotsu ramen I've had has been great, no matter what the brand. As long as it has an oil packet with the seasonings and good noodles, it gets a pass from me.
Previously, I ordered this brand from Amazon and it was amazing too.
They sell it on Amazon if you're the waiting type. I just happened by it at my grocery store and was impressed by the fact that it had all of nature's warning colors on the packaging. Dino nuggets and frozen beans were in the frozen food section. That's where the ice-cream lives.
There are miracle noodles https://www.amazon.com/Miracle-Noodle-Shirataki-Angel-Pasta/dp/B0055CRH1S they aren't the cheapest alternative but they are the lowest calorie
Alright! I'm going to list a bunch of different types, so bear with me here--
If you're looking for a more classic, almost like Top Ramen kind of tastes, I recommend these: Sapporo Ichiban
They're basically just tastier Top Ramen, in my opinon. If you want to fancy it up a bit and go a little deeper into "classic" ramen tastes, then go with this: Nissin Black Garlic Oil Tonkotsu
Speaking of Tonkotsu, do you like a richer Tonkotsu flavor? Then this is what you'll want to try! Myojo Charumera Ramen Tokotsu Shoyu
A bit too high calorie? Want something lighter, non-fried, but still has some delicious Tonkotosu flavor and a firmer chew? Then try Nissin Raoh!
It also comes in the Soy Sauce and Miso flavors, or even Shio if you're looking for that!
Japanese not your thing? Want to try some Korean Ramyun? Neoguri Spicy Seafood might be your thing!
But like some szechuan spice with some authentic ma la flavor that numbs your mouth? Why not try our JML Instant Noodle Artificial Spicy Hot Beef Flavor?
P.S. The "artifical" is a bad translation of the ma la flavor
What about some southeast asian flavors? Nothing like Mama Tom Yum flavor to brighten up your day! These are smaller packet, just something to keep in mind. They also make Shrimp creamy Tom Yum and Artifical Pa-Lo Duck Flavor if you're into that!
Speaking of which, let's get some Laksa and Penang in here! MyKuali Penang White Curry is a very delicious, but kind of shrimp funky kind of flavor, but it's definitely worth a try! The entire MyKuali line is very good!
What about something a bit more on the more luxurious side, but also has that same fermented shrimp funk? Why not Prima Taste Laksa La Mian with coconut broth?
And if we want to go into the more expensive, more authentic ramen taste, there's Ichiran instant ramen, which is expensive, but pretty close to an actual authentic bowl of Ichiran Tonkotsu Ramen!
I hope this helped, and let me know if there's anything else you'd like to try, and I can give recommendations! I also recommend going to a local asian supermarket and browsing their instant ramen section-- Amazon only carries the more popular ones, and there are truly some delicious hidden gems that you can only get in asian grocery stores!
If you're going to have rice anyways, you can pair it with Indian food packets. Delicious & nutritious. https://smile.amazon.com/Kitchens-India-Dinner-Variety-Ounce/dp/B002GQ6OEM/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1499980953&sr=8-1&keywords=indian+food
You can get these in most supermarkets and some smaller shops now, as a spicy Pot Noodle alternative.
Over at /r/pizza we have a decent guide to tomatoes and sauce.
From the wiki:
> Sclafani - Don Pepino brand, not Gus Sclafani of CT. My favorite. Bright red. Sweet, bright tasting and very robust. NJ grown. Regional availablity.
> Jersey Fresh - Almost identical to Sclafani. Regional availability.
> Escalon 6 in 1 Ground Tomatoes - Wholesale only. Californian. One of the two most common brands used by pizzerias, the other being Stanislaus
> Stanislaus 7/11 (or Tomato Magic) - Wholesale only. Californian.
> * Classico Crushed Tomatoes - Possibly the same as Escalon 6 in 1s. Californian grown. National availability, but can be hard to find.
> Pastene - Not quite as good as Slafani (not quite as ripe, an odd green piece). Better availability than Sclafani, but may not be national.

This is the closest I've been able to get:

Oh man, I thought it was those instant noodles from the picture... They're my shit.
You can buy different kinds of premixed curry seasonings in any Asian deli or even online
Best instant ramen I've ever had is Nissin Raoh Tonkotsu ramen. You can get it from Amazon here.
Then get this pair of bowls.
Then, go to the store and get some eggs, green onion, a few thick cuts of pancetta (like 1/4 inch), wood ear mushrooms, nori, soy sauce, and mirin. If you can't find mirin at the store, you can also order it from Amazon!
Do up the eggs like this.
Slice the green onion really fine, like 2mm slices. Slice at a 45 degree angle.
Throw the pancetta in a skillet with a bit of vegetable oil. After it starts to sizzle, drop 2 tbsp of soy sauce and mirin (each) into the pan. Once the pancetta is carmelized (you still want it to be a little floppy), remove from heat/set aside.
Get some water to a boil and then add the wood ear mushrooms. Cook for about 3 minutes (they cook fast). Drain/rinse the mushrooms in cold water, then slice them thin, about 1/4 inch. Set aside.
Cook ramen according to package instructions. Immediately after plating (while it's still too hot to eat), add your toppings: 1 egg (sliced in half), 2-3 pieces of pancetta, nori, green onion, and mushrooms to taste. Let the bowl cool with the toppings in it for a minute or so, then dig in.
That's how I do my "too lazy to get to a ramen shop" ramen. Total prep/cook time is less than 20 minutes.
Also, remember that the best bowls of ramen are the ones you eat next to each other. Happy noodling!
Looks like this one.
Anyone wondering this is the brand.best instant noodles https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B013TVXM1K/ref=mp_s_a_1_9_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1483966532&sr=8-9&keywords=Myojo
I prefer this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0028PDFQG/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1483966532&sr=8-1&keywords=Myojo
I eat a variation- UNFILTERED v olive oil, capers, fresh lemon juice. I also can't recommend this variety of tuna enough. Amazon Prime is the cheapest way to go, tastes amazing & far less "fishy" (& I love fish,) and this smaller tuna species accumulates less heavy metals than other, larger species.
How about something to prepare him for Scotland.
Or you can just buy the most amazing flavor secret ever!
I'm going to try this one https://www.amazon.com/Hoosier-Hill-Farm-Daddy-Pound/dp/B00X1LJZUG/ref=pd_cp_325_1. Thanks!
Yup! We're not trying to replace the really cheap stuff; it'll always have a place in our cabinets as well! For us it's not about replacing the inexpensive options; it's about a nutritionally complete replacement for unhealthy convenience foods like fast food or pizza (for comparison's sake, usually around $5-6 a meal).
That being said, instant ramen isn't limited to the basic Maruchan and Nissin offerings! Shin Ramyun Black is a super popular one that goes for around $2.40 a pack and you can even find the ultra premium Ichiran for nearly $8 a pack! Even Nissin has their own premium "Raoh" offering for about $3 a pack. You can find an entire aisle full of dozens of different varieties and price points at a lot of Asian supermarkets and it's actually pretty fun to explore! We're currently working our way through as many as we can for......research purposes ;)
Model Plane
3D Ramen Cart
Fancy Looking Ramen
He gave you plenty of info. Get creative and have fun! That's what it's all about!
Here in Germany, you can get Mutti San Marzano Tomatoes in some supermarkets and they are good, but very overpriced (over 2€ for a 400g tin). Tbh, you don't necessarily need them. Any genuine Italian canned tomatoes that are from a respected brand will do just fine. If you definitely want San Marzano Tomatoes, these are available on Amazon
Make sure to get the liquid broth packet box with the straight noodles. There’s another instant Ichiran with curly noodles but has a soup seasoning packet. Also on Amazon for $37
You can turn a beer can into a camping stove with a knife and some alcohol.
From there, you can use it to boil water. Make some couscous and some of these types of indian packet things. Or ramen.
Nuts and dried fruit are great healthy snacks that don't require refrigeration.
Saturday after payday, which means it's time for another weeb food run. Time to stock up on shoyu rice crackers and the frozen gyudon topping packets.
Hoping these are worth the 40 bucks I dropped on them on Amazon Prime.
lol, ridiculously expensive for instant noodles, but amazon sells them. Also, it took almost a month to ship them to me....but you know, gotta have that ichiran red spicy powder. I hear they're opening a branch in NYC. Going to have to visit.
Also, if you're any fan of boxed macaroni and cheese and have Amazon, this is very close to Kraft. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X1LJZUG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
INDOMIE!!!
Scrapple, its Scottish cousin Haggis, and Glazier hot dogs. All delicious. Note that the haggis for the US market omits lungs, but I've had it and it's only slightly less delicious than the real thing.
This,https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C7LFG8R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_DOorDbNJ5FR54?th=1
If you like yakisoba and you're really lazy, you might like this (Japanese) instant version called Myojo Ippei-chan Yakisoba. It might not look like much, but it's actually really good.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnnk5lHQtG0
https://www.amazon.com/Myojo-Ippeichan-Yakisoba-Japanese-4-77-Ounce/dp/B0028PDFQG
Are driving tuna towards extinction and drastically harming other ocean life part of that appeal? You had better be getting canned light tuna at a minimum to reduce your mercury. I'm not saying you need to overpay for any brand but get quality certified tuna, you get what you pay for otherwise. I endorse this particular brand because I've had it and it checks out. Expensive yes. http://www.amazon.com/Wild-Planet-Skipjack-Light-5-Ounce/dp/B001SB8AZC/ref=pd_sbs_gro_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1T99TZC3VD0T88YH7X2S
If this is part of her CJ CheilJedang solo endorsement deal, one wonders what's next since from what I understand, it's a multi-brand food company. Dumplings? Tofu?
Cooked Rice? Prostate health supplement?
The possibilities abound~
These are mine
And in Pot Noodle form
Korean markets sell microwavable rice. Pronounced "het-bon"
Can also be ordered from Amazon.
It goes without saying that you can get super creative with rice. Was a huge deal for me since it's a staple item and no stove in the dorms.
Seoul Asian Market and Cafe at 1005 Rittiman Rd #101, San Antonio, TX 78218 they sell microwavable sticky rice that is ready in 90 seconds. Or alternatively you can order the same thing on Amazon.

Be sure to open a small opening in the package before microwaving. It comes out perfect every time.
These are the two I typically buy:
https://www.amazon.com/Japanese-populer-ICHIRAN-instant-tonkotsu/dp/B077T7HC88
https://www.amazon.com/Japanese-populer-ICHIRAN-instant-noodles/dp/B00LEOVKVE
They're very, very good compared to any other instant I've had. Granted you'll never have fresh-from-Ichiran, but having been to the Fukuoka location and buying these, it's easily the next-best thing.
Hey. For my US-based keto fam, here are some food deal:
Tuna deal at Amazon for those interested.
Wild Planet Skipjack Wild Tuna (Light Tuna), 5 oz Cans (Pack of 12)
--> Final price: $16.86 (Reg. $33.72) when you use code: 50FISH4CHNGE
Target also has 20% Off Fresh Ground Beef Cartwheel
I wanted some this A.M. but found none in the pantry. Btw, this is what they're talking about. The cans from England say "Beanz" instead of "Beans". Taste the same I've been told. In the US you can find them in Meijer stores in the English section where the imported stuff is shelved. These beans are less sweet than US baked beans and don't contain pork. It may be an acquired taste for some but we liked them straight away.
Heinz Beans
Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Hoosier-Hill-Farm-Porcini-Mushroom/dp/B00AVOGC6G/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1500727666&sr=8-3&keywords=porcini+powder
Maruchan Tsuta
Nakiryu Tantanmen
Nissin Raoh
You can find good deals on amazon. They don't sell shiritaki noodles here, and we don't even have an amazon, but I ordered it through amazon.co.uk, for a fair enough price
There is a lot of bad information on this thread.
We make haggis every year. It is not illegal.
Also, you can get it on Amazon:

It's much more fun if you make it yourself. You can buy all the ingredients at the local Muslim butcher shop as they always have lamb.
You can get bulk cans of beans on amazon.com; you'll pay a bit of a premium but it's the cheapest and easiest I've found without running around town. The cans are usually a bit closer to the expiration date than a tin in the UK, but still far enough off that you can store them half a year or so. There are some expat sites online you can buy direct from, but the shipping is usually outrageous.
It's a bizarre staple, but if you're in a pinch it's nice as an inexpensive source of protein.
If you've never tried them, give these a shot; they're not as sweet as American beans and seem to work ten times better for beans on toast.
It's cooked before canning so you can just open the can and dig right in.
Amazon has them. 4 whole canned chickens for $50. Not a great deal, but you can see they're cooked.
I have an amazon pantry subscription for these San Marzano tomatoes and they are fantastic. I use them for everything that requires tinned tomatoes now, they're absolutely delicious and worth every penny.
As for sauce recipes, Chef John's tomato sauce recipe is pretty good for a solid tomato sauce, you'll just have to put up with the infuriating cadence of his narration.
Even Haggis!
I'm a poor student who eats a lot of cup noodles. My favourite is anything from the Nong Shim Shin brand. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0054G7HR4. It's a Korean pot noodle, you should be able to find it in any specialty (East) Asian shop. Very nice, very spicy. Perfect for a cold weather. They have several flavours, I think.
For those 'super noodles' type, try Indomie ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG2dLLIZK3Y&feature=youtube_gdata_player). This one comes from Indonesia, and is really nice as well. You can cook following the Maggi style, as suggested in the other post.
And Pot Noodles is terrible. Once you've tasted the East Asian products, you'd never go back to pot noodles.
Ichiran's instant noodles are insanely good. If you are a noodle nut, grab a pack of these. Best noodles I've had outside of japan.

I like this brand but I can only find it on Amazon.

Shin Ramyun is a solid A- at all times. Its a nice staple, good spice packet, good dried veggie packet (shiitake is always welcome). Some people will call bullshit, but I actually like Shin Ramyun black.
Mama's Tom yum flavor is awesome. just awesome. kind of tiny, but also cheap.
Same with Indomie hot and Spicy flavor.
Sapporo Ichiban is again a nice staple. I'd say solid B unless you really like one of the flavors. Wife REALLY likes the tonkutsu, but its artificially flavored, and the only one of the basic flavors that has that on the label. I don't know why.
I also enjoy the Myojo Udon you see there with a lot of scallions and white pepper added to the mix. Obey the instructions on this one: boil noodles separately from a pot of just water. use the hot water on the flavor pack (and white pepper to taste, probably a lot), drain noodles and put in stock, add scallions and whatever else. maybe do a soy egg or something. I like beef or spicy flavors on this one.
I had a 3-cup (cooked) black and decker rice cooker that could go down to half a cup (raw) pretty reliably, though the bottom would sometimes be a bit crisp if I didn't turn in off right after the rice was finished. It was like $20 for the cooker, I think.
If you don't eat rice super often, maybe try these. The portion size is quite good, and so is the taste/consistency. I'm not sure about the starch issue though.
I think Kenji actually got that chimney method from Alton Brown.
I've tried so many different ways to finish a SV steak, including the chimney, torches, grills, pan frying, etc. But the hands-down favorite of mine is to dry the steak with paper towels really well, coat the steak with a 4:1 mixture of dried mushroom powder and kosher salt, pan fry the steak for 60 seconds on each side in a big cast iron skillet with a good quarter inch of high temp oil (e.g., ghee or avocado oil) at or near the oil's smoke point. The crust is perfection. I use a balsamic reduction as a steak sauce (though only a very faint smear, as balsamic naturally has a lot of sugar).
Was just there at the end of may and went to the one in Ueno.

I had quite a lot of ramen while I was there but nothing could touch Ichiran. They don't mess around over there.
I did bring back some of their pre made packs and can confirm that the only difference between the 2 is that Japan ichiran is fresh. The pre made stuff is amazing if you want to try it out.

Like aipotsyd mentioned go for the chunk light or for even lower mercury try the skipjack tuna. I think they advise you can safely have 3 cans a week of that type of tuna, but recommend only one can of albacore. The larger the tuna, the higher on the food chain and that is supposed to equal higher mercury levels or something like that.
I personally like the Wild Planet skipjack....

Ah yes, /u/theramenrater is the man. He has me hooked on these bad boys (yes i know they aren't really ramen). And oh man you have me fiending for that miso. Sounds spectacular. Don't hurt me, but I've never had a fresh bowl miso yet. It will be done, oh yes it will be done. Even if I just find a decent ramen shop in NYC that's close by. Any suggestions?
This is all i could find OP took a while to even find those.
Nissin Raoh, Tonkotsu flavor. The only instant ramen I’ve ever tried that doesn’t need anything added to it to be great. And it’s not spicy either
Loser has to eat one of these on video and post it.
Dave Cavanaugh (dmcavanagh) was my tomato 'mentor.' :) He turned me on to NJ Sclafani's. That's was years ago, and I've been using Sclafani's ever since. I remember he used to privately admonish me for recommending Sclafani's publicly because he was worried if too many people started using them, the price would go up :) Great guy. I miss him. Anyway, here's Dave's thoughts on what you can find at Walmart:
> IMHO none of those you listed are in 6 in 1's league. Contadina and Tuttorosso are horrid, Cento packs several variations of crushed tomatoes, you aren't specific enough as to which ones you tried, and GV and Hunt's are ok in a pinch. Walmart used to stock Classico, which was essentially 6 in 1's in a different can (both from Heinz), but I believe they have been discountued as of late last year.
6 in 1s are Escalon, from California, and they're wholesale only- with the exception of the brief appearance at Walmart under a different name. Escalon and Stanislaus are the two big kings of wholesale tomatoes. As with other ingredients to make pizza (flour, cheese, etc.) wholesale ingredients blow retail ingredients out of the water. Tomatoes are no exception. I buy wholesale cheese and flour, but the cans of tomatoes are just too big for me, so I buy Sclafani's, which are regional/in local supermarkets here in NJ. Amazon has Sclafani's. I just noticed that the price is cheaper than what I pay at my local supermarket
https://www.amazon.com/Sclafani-Crushed-Tomatoes-Ounce-Pack/dp/B00F9TCIQG
The downside to shipping tomatoes is that the cans get bounced around and a few get dented. Even if you lose 50% to damage, though, I'd bet you that you'd still be spending less than SMs.
Summing up:
Great Value Crushed - passable, but widely available
Sclafani - fantastic, but regional or mail order
Escalon/Stanislaus - also fantastic, a bit more authentic to NY style pizza, but distributor only (Restaurant Depot, etc.) and huge cans.

Oh right, shipping is crazy expensive in the US. Goods don't have to travel far in the UK so shipping tends to be pretty cheap. We often get 'free delivery' where it's included in the price.
If you factor in shipping It's probably not worth it. They're far far better than any of the big brand stuff, but it's still ramen at the end of the day. It can't beat a properly prepared Sunday Roast with Yorkshire Puds. If you see any instore though, definitely give it a try.

Unplug InstantPot after timer goes off.
Eat about 30 minutes later.

What is odd is the people who specifically eat this, they claim it is quite delicious.

Dark cocoa powder is really awesome to mix into shakes / oatmeal. I use it a lot with chocolate protein powder and it's great for chocolate cravings.
Drink lots of water - add in flavor drops if that helps
Miracle Noodles are trace in calories and add massive quantities of volume. I pan fry them with veggies and add in some seasoning to taste. Great snack!
It won't ever be easy to be on a cut but it will get easier. I eat 6-8 meals a day so if I get hungry I know the next meal is just around the corner. If I am hungry I just like to remember that it's part of the process.
I also drink diet pop from time to time or soda water with water flavoring. The carbonation keeps me full for a bit.
As others said: coffee, air popped popcorn, seasoning for flavor, vegetables, spinach for volume in salads.
Possibly this weekend or the next, I've still got most of the last block left. It's not super convenient for me to get to, probably an hour and a half round trip but my retired parents go most weeks and they can pick some up for me (they're only a mile down the road from us). On and off I've been looking for alternatives I can get delivered but haven't seen anything really convincing yet. Might try the pizza mozzarella from here.
On a different note have you ever heard of/tried these tomatoes?
Hi -- here are some things you might add, based on what you say you like:
Peanut butter: http://www.amazon.com/Creamy-Peanut-Butter-Twin-Ounce/dp/B00061ETX2/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1419134519&sr=8-10&keywords=peanut+butter

mac and cheese: http://www.amazon.com/Kraft-Macaroni-Cheese-7-25-oz-Boxes/dp/B0019RLJV2/ref=pd_bxgy_gro_text_z
Pasta (there are others, but this seemed like a lot for the money, at least at first glance, and given that we're talking Amazon Prime): http://www.amazon.com/Barilla-Pasta-Rotini-Farfalle-Value/dp/B003N9HMQ0/ref=sr_1_34?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1419134819&sr=1-34&keywords=pasta

There are lots of others; these are just thoughts. They're things you say you like, and honestly, I'd rather buy them than Pringles (for one thing, they are much more yummy.) Let me now if you update it; in any case, happy holidays1
I need a noodle replacement, because keto.
> Because it is once his heavies become UB the window to soft feint into DE closes shortly after.
Sorry, but I cant find sense in this statement. Are you suggesting the heavy should be feintable while he's already hitting you?
> you just need to know the recovery time which is something a good ganking squad would know.
A lot of people tend to make the mistake of assuming the game should be tailored to the top 1%, while 99% of the players are playing casually/solo.
> Except Raider's is better at denying revenge activation then Shugoki
I didn't even mention Raider in this statement.
> I demand sauce for my pasta.
While i usually prefer to make my own, this one isn't bad either: https://www.amazon.com/Barilla-Pasta-Sauce-Variety-Ounce/dp/B00FQGP20Q
Ingredients:
Dough sits in fridge for anywhere from 1-4 days. Oven set to 500F (max on my oven). Baking steel placed about 6" from broiler. Pizza goes in for 5-6 minutes on bake, and then about 2 minutes on hi broil. Basil added afterwards.
It’s crazy expensive on Amazon. Wtf! I can’t find it in my small town. Any help??
Nissin Raoh, Tonkotsu, 3.53 Ounce (6 Count) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079T2XXBM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YCzWDbW6VJ0PK
Here are some links for Porcini Mushroom Powder, Portobello Mushroom Powder, Shiitake Mushroom Powder, Reishi Mushroom Powder, and powders consisting of mixed assorted mushrooms like this five mushroom one, this fourteen mushroom one, and my favorite of the lot: this ten mushroom blend. I utilize mushroom powders in soups, sauces, gravies and dry rubs for steaks and meats. One of my favorite ways to use porcini mushroom powder is to make homemade or frozen French fries, dribble them with truffle-infused oil, sprinkle sea salt and porcini mushroom powder and grated sharp white cheddar on top. It's my own version of poutine!

these, while not ramen, are worth trying once if you sort of hate instant ramen. http://www.amazon.com/Myojo-Ippeichan-Yakisoba-Japanese-4-77-Ounce/dp/B0028PDFQG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453513943&sr=8-1&keywords=yakisoba
I think I'll be fine
Haggis can't be imported because the pluck isn't allowed. But you can sorta make it yourself here if you can source the ingredients. There's also canned Haggis that's sorta close that you can get: http://www.amazon.com/Traditional-Scottish-Haggis-Pack-2/dp/B000F35QQA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453849300&sr=8-1&keywords=haggis
But it's not really that close to the real thing. I think they make it from lamb heart and liver + pork. It doesn't compare to what I've had the few times I've been to Scotland/the UK.
That said, I'm going to a Burn's Supper in Los Angeles at a restaurant. They make their own haggis, which I think is made from more approachable ingredients as well. But it's about the best we can do here.
Sure is - http://www.amazon.com/Sweet-Sue-Chicken-without-Giblets/dp/B00BX31YC6 - people claim it makes amazing dumplings. I will never know..

Found it!
Thank you so much!
I had come across that canned tomato theory before recently and thought it made a lot of sense. That makes things even easier in regards to making pizza sauce.
Just so you know, my plan for the first can of tomatoes I buy is for the making of a Sicilian pizza. And after that it is NY style pizzas on my baking steel. So I am not looking for authenticity, just the best tasting (or best tasting at the best bargain price, aka bang for my buck) tomatoes.
If I can't get my hands on Sclafani Crushed Tomatoes locally, I will order them online for $1.70 a can, that's nice!
Thanks for the Boars Head deli sliced mozz recommendation! I'll be on the look out for that too. I'm already hoping to find Boars Head natural casing pepperoni which I see is ranked #1 for pizzas by Serious Eats.
edit:
I just got a can of crushed Hunts, Cento and Contadina tomatoes. Will be fun to make pizza sauce with them and see how I like them. My #1 brand to still attempt to find and try is Sclafani but there's no rush. Now the journey to finding good natural casing pepperoni sticks and deli sliced mozz.
Gotta buy in bulk. Either #10cans, or 10 or 12-packs of 28oz cans. The big cans you would need to portion and freeze if you're a home user.
Something like this:

IndoMie Ramen
This is an Indonesian Ramen brand and I’ve loved every flavor I’ve tried so far. They’re way better than the usual Nissin ramen. The Mi Goreng line is actually supposed to be prepared similar to chow mein, like cooking and frying the noodles in spices provided but I’ve found luck making it normally as well.
