1. This was actually about my graduation. To walk, you have to attend rehearsal. The day of rehearsal, I was at my boo thangs dad's house. And when I went to leave, I found out that I locked my keys in my car. I FREAKED out. Oh my god. Panic overload. I was crying, refused to come inside, and just all around freaking. What calmed me down was my boyfriend calmly explaining to me that everything would be okay, he had me call my parents to come with the spare key (they were 30 minutes away). He hugged me, and just calmed me down. I ended up making it to rehearsal with 5 minutes to spare.

How big is your bunny?

Some people have had a lot of success with the "walking jacket" style- basically a vest for their rabbit. I find this works pretty well on the "under 7 lb" group of rabbits. Sometimes the strap around the neck is too bulky.

For bigger rabbits, I'm partial to an "H-style harness" (link is to the same brand/style I use). The adjustability makes for a very secure fit and the dual clips allow for easy on and off when you are in possession of thumbs.

Whatever you do, skip harnesses that look like this. Squishing rabbit heads/dewlaps/ears through the nonadjustable neck hole is stressful and uncomfortable. It's very bulky between the legs. They often are made of a stretchy material, which allows bunnies to escape.

A Thundershirt helped my cat a lot. (I think you can get it cheaper elsewhere, BTW.)

He immediately calmed down, flopped over onto his side, and just wagged his tail up and down. I used to put it on him for vet visits and at-home nail trims. My cat fought like hell against nail trims; he was a Houdini at escaping the "kitty burrito" and bested us even when we double-teamed him. It's a compression vest that calms the central nervous system the same way a tight hug calms people and pets. It might be worth a shot if he's really that anxious.

Just an FYI: I expect it could temporarily impact blood pressure readings as it's calming the pet so just take those with a grain of salt. For anything else though, I don't see how it would interfere.

My vet isn't a fan of Feliway but does recommend Bach's Rescue Remedy. It's an herbal supplement that can be put into water, food, treats, or rubbed directly on the cat.

I believe 1-3 month fits most cats.

Otherwise we'd just get a Comfy Cone and turn it down a bit. Most cats are a small. My tiny kitty is about the size of a typical 9 month old kitten, hers is an extra small but she can still fit her sisters size small cone.

In the evening we would do supervised cone free time. I know it's hard to watch your kitty feeling uncomfortable or in distress, but the sooner he heals the faster he's done with the cone. He'll be used to it to a certain extent soon.
