Ohhh, this is a fun contest! I love imagining nice things.

I'm going to Galway, Ireland. It's been my dream to go there so I can try to immerse myself in the Gaelteacht! That is, in the Irish-speaking region of Ireland! It's been my dream to learn the Irish language, which is next to impossible in the state of Maine, which is pretty much the boonies. Even learning it online is an issue-- there are so many dialects that it's impossible to get anything right.

In my dream vacation, I'd go to the Cashel House Hotel which, incidentally, is not only totally awesome, but is pet-friendly! So as for who I'd take with me, I'm bringing my puppy, Mabel. Because why not?!

I'd spend my time there looking for classes to take as Gaeilge, as well as exploring the beautiful Irish countryside. I'm dying to see those rolling hills! I'd soak in as much history as I could, too. And music! Apparently, Galway is pretty big into the music scene. I'd love to check out some of its choirs! And maybe I'd see something performed at the Taibhdhearc na Gaillimhe, which is an all-Irish language theater.

If I were to go, I would bring this music, to psyche me up for my trip! :)
