Amazon US has it for preorder. $65.99

Legend Of Zelda Concert 2018 (Original Soundtrack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L45D4S5/

u/rpbtz · 15 pointsr/VGMvinyl

Heads up - it's also available from Amazon Japan, which in total will most likely be cheaper for most EU people: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07TWK6XRT

Also if experiences from the Nier set is anything to go by, these will also ship out faster from Amazon.

EDIT: Even better, €55 on Amazon France: https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B07TNVWQB2/

I think the price might be an error, so better go for it while it's that "low"

For everyone who is dealing with this, I'm sorry. I've been burned by the SE Store enough to raise a stink about it over Twitter and get replies from Matt Hilton and even once, Soken himself.

For about two years now I've only ordered XIV merch from Amazon.co.jp - please take a look before you go to the SE store, especially for OSTs.

Here is the link for the Shadowbringers physical OST. Looks like it'll be back in stock on September 22: https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B07W423TPF/

I can't speak for other countries but I know that they ship incredibly fast to the US. On top of that, you can change the website language so that all the information regarding ordering and payment is in English.

You pay just about the same for international shipping there as you would for domestic shipping at the SE store. I really, really would love someone from SE to comment on how terrible their store and store customer service are with the taking payment but never shipping, no communication, etc. But I think the sad truth of it all is that the corporation Square Enix just does not care as long as they get your money.

Thanks for sharing! Seems it's on Amazon UK too and there are (placeholder?) listings up on the European Amazons, good to keep an eye on :)

Actually, no. All you need is to buy the Physical CD release before the end of 2020 and it comes with a code to unlock the skins.

Of course, the price doubles because of shipping, but it's much more accessible rather than buying Blu-rays.

If you want hilarious I can give you suggestions.

The "wtf is this" album

The "Best" of the worst

Nostalgia city

Note that if you want the pre-order bonus sleeves, that you'll have to import. CDJapan and Amazon.co.jp both deliver to USA pretty much the day after release. Usually cheaper and faster delivery than the NA Square Enix store. Amazon.co.jp link to ShB OST

All the Shadowbringers OST Bonus Sleeves

Yodobashi Bonus Sleeve Front-Back

JP Square Enix Store Bonus Sleeve Front-Back

JP Sony Music Shop Bonus Sleeve front-back

At this moment in time I can't find the backsides for the Amazon.co.jp bonus sleeve (it has the WoL SAM and flags artwork) or the backside to the TOWER Records order (Large Viera print).

Comparing to Journeys Bonus Sleeves, the CDJapan preorder was same as the JP Square Enix Store Bonus sleeve.

Actually, just go to OP's post here for better pictures https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/cn61nl/shadowbringers_ost_out_on_september_11_preorder/ew746h6/

The Vocal Tracks album is unfortunately not available on vinyl, only on cd.

Kiss me/Hold me now is available on vinyl and you can get it from amazon and cdjapan

Polly Jean/Not Afraid is also available on amazon and cdjapan

I think it might be an imported version of the same product. Searching that UPC (4988601467216) brings up the vinyl set on CDJapan, Play-Asia and Amazon Japan. Amazon Japan has a second edition simply listed as "import" with a different UPC. Conversely, that Best Buy UPC pops up on US Amazon for an edition specifically labelled "import," and it's similarly priced to Best Buy https://amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-Remake-Limited/dp/B07TWK6XRT

u/FuckItHaveAnUpvote · 3 pointsr/vinyl

That might have been a different item but this one is the same as the RSD. The title states: "Lost In Translation Music From The Motion Picture Soundtrack Colored RSD Exclusive 2019"

It's obviously sold out now and only listed third party ($180?? lol) but here's the link:

If she gets into the books then get her something from the lore. If not, then look for something else IMHO. My top wants would be these:

u/MusicMan13 · 2 pointsr/musicals

The concert version has a DVD available, and a CD recording (both are of the original cast including Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, Kerry Ellis, and Adam Pascal)

u/trek247 · 2 pointsr/startrek

I wanted to chime back in to say I still haven't had a chance to listen to this thing, but if you do buy it on CD, you should look into the expanded edition released recently.

The Cold War plays into Chess and it's got lyrics by Tim Rice, who is lyricist for Evita as well, so you might like that. It's centered around a chess championship that gets a ton of media attention and is played up as a test of intellectual superiority between the US and USSR. The Russian wins, but then defects and runs off with a western woman. The original album would be a good place to start with that one, or if you'd rather watch something, the 2008 Chess In Concert which was released on DVD isn't too bad.

Cabaret has the rise of Nazi Germany going on, and Hair has the Vietnam war, but I'm guessing you're more looking for stories about characters who are themselves influencing politics, right? But if not, those are some suggestions too.

u/CarolWendelson · 2 pointsr/vinyl

No promises, but it looks like Amazon has extra stock and will be shipping out copies in a month or so. Also have The Crow if you missed out or wanted that one as well.

> Why?

Think of all the art that has been created based off of the works of Shakespeare or Beethoven. That art adds value to society. Why should any entity have the exclusive right to an idea after all those who actually came up with the idea are dead?

> Further if you think that is what would happen I have a bridge to sell you.

There are many, many, many examples of creative works made based on stories and characters in the public domain, so yes. I do think that would happen.

> What would happen is a big company like walmart would sell Mickey mouse stuff without giving Disney their due.

The same thing that would happen if other companies made things based on other public domain works, like Aladdni or Alice in Wonderland movies, or Tarzan dolls like I mentioned above.

Edit: Also, WalMart would not be able to sell "Mickey Mouse" dolls, because "Mickey Mouse" and his design are a registered trademark of Disney. All that would happen if some Mickey Mouse cartoons fell into the public domain would be that people would be free to distribute those specific works. For example, there are some Superman cartoons from the 1940s that are in the public domain, but "Superman," the "S" logo and other parts of his design are still owned by DC/Time Warner. You are free to distribute those specific cartoons, but you cannot create any derivative works that infringe on DC's trademarks. Trademarks, unlike copyright, can go on indefinitely, but they require registration and active use and defense by their owner.

Does this look promising?

u/Girl_with_the_Curl · 2 pointsr/Broadway

It looks like 2008 (you can YouTube it) and here's the cast recording. I originally caught it on PBS.

This just appeared on Amazon. It looks like we'll be waiting until October 30th.

u/JLGW · 1 pointr/XenoGears

From Amazon Japan. They seem to ship overseas as well.

Xenogears Vinyl - SHINKAKU - [Analog] https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07GRRH5MD

Square Enix store also has it but it's still on preorder.

u/TheBeardomancer · 1 pointr/VGMvinyl

It was a EU/UK release I think? I have not seen an official listing on Amazon in the US, but here is the UK Amazon with the track listing. It does not cost too much more to buy from a reseller on Amazon US if that is where you are located.

u/Bobleponz · 1 pointr/arrow

Date has been changed on the Amazon page. Now its 30th November 2018.

My parents were pretty cheap and didn't buy me much in terms of entertainment (we didn't even have cable/ a gaming system). One of the few times my Dad got me something he announced that day that he was going to buy us Aladdin (the movie had just come out on VHS a couple weeks before I think). We got really excited, while he would rent us movies sometimes, he never bought us one before. Came home with this when he came back from work the next day. This comic brought me back to that moment. Never complained to him about it, but damn was I let down. Still, I ended up watching the shit out of that crappy Aladdin knockoff.

Agree with you. Especially as they have a separate listing for slightly more ($26.35) that definitely appears to be the picture disks:

Before you get too excited, it is even cheaper ($24.41) over on Amazon:
