There are things like this which your aunt may really appreciate, given her age. There's lots of different types, but they're books that you fill in pages of memories you've had with her, or what makes her special to you, etc. Each page is prompted. If you have siblings who can offer, it could be a nice joint gift to include all of your memories/thoughts/love.

What about getting her a journal? That can be a great way to process trauma, but it's also a fun gift that she might really enjoy. There are some cool ones that even come with a lock, like this one (blank) or this one (with prompts). Get some nice gel pens to go with it. Or Wreck This Journal is a fun alternative if she's not into writing!

Quick question.

Is it possible to give a journal an ISBN, even if they don't need one?

I found this one, and others who appear to be student of this person, and they all have ISBNs?

Still trying to nail down all facts before I start out with this.
