What's your classical model? If you have a decent classical, slap on some luthier 30s (or similar, whatever your preference on sound is), play around with the action a bit, and that may serve you for the next couple years better than the Cordoba gypsy kings guitar. I started with a Cordoba 30F, and the sound is decent, but boy oh boy was a handmade blanca ever an upgrade in every way possible. Not a huge fan of Cordobas, but they are good student guitars.

Buddy of mine used the Yamaha flamenco guitar to learn on, and that sounds decent as well for being under $400. http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-CG172SF-String-Flamenco-Guitar/dp/B004MDKTIY

> Ideally I'd love for a cutaway and a pickup,

Now that's just plain cheating.

Listen. I love lime green, like, more than life itself. But this is just kind of gross looking.

With your luck it might be worth it to just go to a music store like Music 6000 or guitar center. People there are usually nice and can definitely help you find something in your price range. Check for yamahas on Amazon, they usually have nice guitars for semi-cheap.

Try this one

I'm guessing you want an acoustic to start off, If you want to go light on yourself, get a Spanish guitar/acoustic nylon string. When I started off when I was 8, I used a nylon string because it was softer on the fingers. Then I eventually went to steel string. If you want to go straight to steel string here: https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwjPvcW3q47iAhWJSw0KHRVjAAEYABABGgJxYg&sig=AOD64_2qMiCQa5Bt1wvxAm1JB8VFZR2E5A&ctype=5&rct=j&q=&ved=0ahUKEwjFkr23q47iAhUQJt8KHbK1Dc0Q9aACCDc&adurl=

Thanks, I'll check them out. My budget is under 500 or so. I was looking at this one also:

It's solid. i'm not set on classical, but not really sure about the differences besides nylon strings there.

If you are looking for a deal, I don't own a nylon string version, but I love my Aria Travel Guitar anf I'm almost certain they make a classical guitar version.

This looks good but I'm just searching Amazon real quick. Really you should go to a store and feel them unless you're knowledgeable enough to know if you got a lemon in the mail.

Now I'm looking at this Cordoba C7-CE Cedar as well as this one Cordoba C7-CE Spruce. I'm thinking the spruce top one is the way to go. Thoughts?

I would love to get a classical acoustic guitar. Something like this one.

Or, the Crack the Skye Royal Edition with the songbook so I can learn how to play it. :)
