Outdoor/indoor gaming stuff:

  1. Playing cards

  2. A figurine from Roblox: I usually play around with it while walking, it's very therapeutic.

  3. Fidget spinner

  4. Nintendo 3DS XL: I usually play it on the subway to pass time.

    Student stuff:

  5. Backpack: given to me by my brother, not sure about the brand, doesn't say, not good quality.

  6. Lenovo Miix 510 laptop

  7. Swell brand water bottle: Given to all High School students in NYC.

  8. Ultrasone HFI-580 S-Logic headphones

  9. America's Pencil brand pencils.

  10. NYC Vote pens.

  11. Field Notes - Coastal edition

    Muslim stuff:

  12. Prayer rug: Used as a soft surface while praying. Common misconception: they aren't really holy in any way, they're just rugs, many Muslims pray without them.

  13. The Qur'an: The holy text of Islam, written in both English and Arabic.

  14. Kufi: A type of hat worn by Muslims, traditionally worn by the early followers of Islam. Usually worn with or without a turban. I wear it during prayer sometimes.

  15. Miswak: A Muslim toothbrush essentially. Many Muslims carry them around all day and use them after performing ablution (wudu'). It's been used for thousands of years and predates Islam, and is made from the branches of the Salvadora persica tree.

  16. Ittar: a fragrance oil perfume used in many Muslim countries.

  17. Misbaha(prayer beads): used to keep track of tasbih, a supplication done after praying.

  18. Copy of the U.S. Constitution: Given to me by my Political Science professor. I recommend every American to read the constitution in its entirety at least once. It's one of the best constitutions written. Comes in handy when you're having political arguments. I keep it handy so I know my basic rights.

  19. Prayer & Purification book: A guide to how to pray, types of prayers, and how perform wudu' and ghusl.

    Survival stuff:

  20. Outdoor knives my dad got for me from Amazon. Not sure about brand The brand is Cross Fire.

Disclaimer: Possessing knives outside your home is heavily restricted and regulated in NYC. I usually only take the knives when hiking. Check local laws.

  21. $10 Casio watch

  22. Alpine Swiss wallet, a gift from my brother

  23. LG Aspiro phone

  24. Volkswagen car keys

    New York stuff:

  25. Yankees hat: Too small for my head

  26. Metrocards: Used for subway and busses

  27. Pocket change for small snacks at the deli/bodega.

  28. Books: Reading material for my commute on the subway to pass time. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne, and You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero.

I am happy to elaborate on any of these items, including the brands, if you want to know more.

I got this t-rex sweater from Amazon!

The fit is weird on me because it's in boys sizes, but for an ugly Christmas sweater I don't really mind.

Pull-on cargo khakis? Pull-on regular khakis? Elastic waist jeans that look cool to me, but I'm pushing 40?

Merry ReXmas

Blizzard Bay Boys' Arms Too Small Trex, Green, Red Combo, 6

u/gravy_boot · 9 pointsr/Nationals

I also have that hat now.
edit: it's made for a kids head so you have to be careful not to mess up the air tubes with your giant dome but it does work as expected.

u/NormalComputer · 4 pointsr/HelpMeFind

It's this one, but with the band pulled down to cover the whole face. Can also be found at Walmart!

The hoodie is a little bit smaller than you think (it’s just shorter, the sleeves and chest are fine) so be a little careful. Other than that it’s super comfy and warm.

u/getawaytricycle · 2 pointsr/TrollXChromosomes

Saw this in another subreddit and the dude there bought it off amazon:

I have a Thor hammer keychain that I think is freaking awesome.

Well, I've only had it a day so far, but the time is still right on. I'm not quite sure what type of metal it's made of. The back says Japan Movement Quartz, and Case Made in China. It doesn't feel like the highest of quality. I've got a Smith & Wesson Titanium watch that my fiance bought for me a few years ago, and it doesn't even come close to that. But for $40 or so, I wouldn't expect it to. It does look quite nice for the price though. The reviewers at Amazon seem to think quite highly of it. It does apparently have a 1 year warranty, but I honestly don't think too much will go wrong as long as it's looked after.

u/Rats_OffToYa · 1 pointr/hwatch

If using a silver Hwatch, highly recommend this one, matched the shine and color really well.

Clasp open style took a bit getting used to, but prefer it more now for easier removal.

My mother suggested I post All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. She just read it, and loved it. It's along the same "tug your heart-strings" as The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne, but maybe a bit more adult-friendly, in just the messages and content. I asked her to write a short review to post here, and we're waiting on that.

Did you know Amazon will donate a portion of every purchase if you shop by going to instead? Over $50,000,000 has been raised for charity - all you need to do is change the URL!

Here are your smile-ified links:

You need to post the link you bought it from. Neither the post above nor the seller I bought mine from offered different sizes. :/

Ahhh, the good ol' WWF!! :D

  • We don't visit zoos, aquariums, or circus' anymore. I haven't been to an aquarium or circus since I was younger. My kids have never been to one. They always wonder why we don't go. All I say is "Cruelty to animals is not a good thing at all." They totally get that, and very much support animals like I do.

  • Our girls have done many donation drives for the dog and cat no kill shelters around here. In their last drives, they raised over $200 a piece for each shelter, plus lots of bags and cans of cat and dog food as well as lots of essentials to keep a no kill shelter up and running. We do not give to the other shelters around here. Once they see that not many people do, they might close their doors for good.

  • We also use energy efficient bulbs in our home. We just moved here, and each one of the 100 watt lightbulbs that the landlady had here has been burning out one by one. We've taken bulbs out to replace the most important ones, and have gotten a few packs ourselves when we can afford it, but we still need about 40 regular sized bulbs plus some smaller ones for other light fixtures in here. Once we are finished replacing all of these bulbs, our light bill will go down tremendously.

  • We also recycle now. It's great to live here...across town from where we were previously. The recycling guy who comes here doesn't throw all of our recycling on our yard before he leaves. That's what the other one did. We'd have all of our recycling in the different bins, all washed and sorted. He'd throw EVERYTHING back in our yard. Crazy! :/

  • We also eat less meat, which is driving my carnivore husband completely insane, but he understands it's for the best. We are not vegetarians by any means, we just eat less meat now.

  • We bring our own cloth bags to places like the grocery store, Target, the library, etc...

  • We keep our lights off whenever possible, and use candles most nights anyway.

I think that's about it. We don't have to worry about diapers anymore, thank goodness! (We used cloth anyway)

  • It's best if all of us do our part so that the world doesn't end up looking like one big garbage heap. (That's the why I think it's important sentence!)

(I had no idea Jani likes it au naturale!...I mean Jani likes it au naturel!) ;)

My link if I win, please.

Thank you for the contest! <3

I think it could be this but customized with Nats cloth sewn in on the inside of the flippers.

Wear a very nondescript rainbow bracelet, such as this. Bis and gays will notice and approach if interested. If a homophobe approaches, act like you had no idea what it meant and just say your girlfriend bought it for you because she thought you needed more color to your outfit.

u/vivalasoulpunxx · 1 pointr/KingdomHearts
u/kittehfiend · 1 pointr/MonsterHunter

you mean this?

u/walkfreely · 1 pointr/HelpMeFind

Not a mask, just this beanie pulled down. It's out of stock there but now you know what you're looking for.

I'm guessing you don't want to pay this much for it.
