I was half expecting that link to be this.

This one on Amazon and there’s plenty of others there too.

Ever considered a cool shirt? Usually you see them in motorsports but there are versions that you can use with a camelback. As long as you dont need your back for something else, its really nice to have. If you can re-fill with ice you have all day cooling. I usually get 4 or so hours before i need to add ice. Just dont drink your "coolant"

Be warned though, they are a bit pricey.

EDIT: HERE is an example of what im talking about.

I wear these: https://www.amazon.com/Cherokee-Womens-Maternity-Pull-Waist/dp/B00UXYLMT6

They are really comfortable. Maybe a little thin (not in looks but in feel) but have been fine in a fairly cold Seattle winter. For me they run pretty true to size, a bit big in the bump area but not enough to fall or roll down. And so comfy!

I just don't fold over the top part and the pants stay really high and comfortable. They also work well as maternity pants.

Definitely the Casio watch. Like everyone is saying, cheap but durable as hell.

This is the one I got: Casio Men's Classic Stainless Steel Quartz Watch with Resin Strap, Orange, 21.1 (Model: W-218H-4B2VCF https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G2PK7XC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_y3LVDb9GB8M73

For boots, I actually liked my Merrells. The 5.11 ones always fit weird on me. I've heard really good things about Salomon though.

These are the Merrell boots I have: Merrell Work Women's Moab 2 8" Tactical Response Waterproof Black 8.5 M US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073C6R7PD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_N4LVDb8VNDW2E

Just found these.

5.11 Women's Defender-Flex Slim Tactical Pants, Style 64415, Thyme, 4 Long https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BFSX4G1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_wQtODbK1SMK9B

Though they look like they are still pretty tight fitting.

TIL expertise costs about $15

I bought Cherokee maternity pants from Amazon in black, then got tops from Walmart. They aren't specifically maternity tops, but they have stretchy side panels. The tops come in different colors, but the side panels are all black, so they all go with black pants and I didn't have to buy very many sets. I hate spending a lot of money on maternity clothes..

I'm on mobile now but can provide links later if you'd like. I wore medium before getting pregnant, and got medium in both. Bottoms have some room to grow into, tops are fitting fine at 27 weeks and still have a lot of "give" in the stretchy part. The other consideration for me is I'm 5'1", so the Cherokee pants come in petite sizes.

EDIT: Pants

I bought a few different scrub pants that have a waistband other than the usual kind, and they’ve fit me through my whole pregnancy (37 weeks now). I was really reluctant to buy maternity specific ones, and these I can continue to wear postpartum!

I know scrubs run HUGE. These are xs size and I honestly feel bad for girls that are petite. Anyone small would be swimming in them. I've ordered these and these to try. The cherokee ones came this week and they're...ok. I don't love them. The fit is a little odd and the material is kinda thin and stiff. Waiting for the ocean ave ones to come and then I'll chose the lesser of the evils. I ordered some maternity tees to pair with them so I hopefully look slightly less frumpy!

I copped mine on Houston Street (and over paid) they are on Amazon but they are a bit expensive like 22. If you find a military surplus website they sell them for like 10. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00EEALNGW/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1427674198&sr=8-2&keywords=flecktarn&dpPl=1&dpID=51ccot0oZNL&ref=plSrch&pi=AC_SY200_QL40

I'm 6'0, bought a medium from amazon here, will post fit later/tomorrow if you remind me. It goes down to my knees which is too big imo

Bought a German Bundeswehr surplus flecktarn parka. $30, brand new, made in Germany and will make a great jacket for outdoor activities if it ever drops below 90 degrees again.

u/pudaspriest · 1 pointr/rawdenim

my local army/navy store. You can find them online pretty easy and they are cheap. I think mine was $20 or so. here are some on amazon. I am really fond of this jacket, been thinking of snagging another one to stash away for the future in case something happens to this one.
