While I liked John Byrne's revamp overall, it's pretty much the version of Superman that I grew up with, I always felt that this was the weak link in that first 6-issue miniseries. The issue starts off good, and I liked the setup of Superman flying to Gotham to capture Batman, thinking he's just some dangerous vigilante, I always felt that Magpie was a pretty weak adversary for the "first" team up of these iconic characters. And even as a kid I thought Batman's internal monologue about how "in a different reality, we could have been friends" felt like forced reference to the post-Crisis continuity. I think the story he wrote in Action Comics Annual #1 was a much better team-up.

I vote for Marvel, because I love the X-Men. Specifically Rogue, which is reflected by the collection of comics in my WL. The one I'd request though, would be Rogue #2 because an anonymous lovely RAOAer sent me #1 a few weeks back and I'm jonesing lol.

But honestly I just think the amount of characters represented in the Marvel universe are more interesting and fun to imagine. I mean, Batman is cool and all and I'm not anti-DC by any means, but Wolverine has a more interesting story and actual super powers, you know? Storm can control the freaking weather. Rogue strips people of their life force and can actually steal other mutants' super powers. Nightcrawler freaking teleports through time and space and other dimensions. Thor is literally a god. Batman has a tool belt.

Of course DC has Wonder Woman and Super Man, but it seems like most DC characters work alone whereas in the Marvel universe they like to work in teams, and I'm all about friendship. I do like that DC focuses more on regular people just working really hard at being better and focusing on a goal though, like Green Arrow. I love the reimagined Robin Hood thing.

My favorite villain is Loki, mostly because he's so damn funny. Also, there's a new series out called Loki Agent of Asgard in which he actually becomes a hero and attempts to redeem himself. Of course everyone hates and distrusts him, which ends up being pretty freaking hilarious.

Your favorite DC hero: Green Lantern

Your favorite Marvel Hero: The Hulk

MY TEAM:
I'm picking my Avengers based solely on username because I still don't know people very well on here, so I'm poking through Intros and I find /u/Ninja_Platypus. Laura, you are now literally a mutant platypus that has the ability to turn invisible at will for optimum stealth. You also have a tendency to randomly lay eggs, which both disturbs and delights your comrades.

/u/sistermercy: My fellow Graphic designer! Your gardnerian Wicca powers allow you to concoct useful, magical healing concoctions from plants. At some point deeper into the storyline you find out that you're actually 1/8th forest elf and contemplate leaving the team to live with the elves in another dimension.

/u/FlyingBallerina: You can't literally fly, but you have the ability to hover mid-air and dance-beatdown to the faces of villains with much grace.

I've inadvertently developed an all-girl superhero team, so we need a male supervillain cause we're all girl power and stuff. We need a villain who is /u/FigurativelytheWorst. Dude is the worst, what can I say. lol

As you can see, I'm kind of a comic book nerd.

So Rebound was released as one of Dark Horse's 2013 Free Comic Book Day releases. How FCBD comics work is they are short stories, but they are bound together with one or two other comics from a different franchise. One story's cover on the front and another on the back.

Rebound was released with Star Wars and Captain Midnight short stories. So there isn't really a way to just buy rebound as a single comic, its either in its original release bound with two totally unrelated stories, or its in Team Avatar Tales which is a collection of avatar shorts.

You can stil buy its original release from amazon and ebay, but its less readily accessible than the more mass produced and actually meant for shelves team avatar tales. Plus while the exact price can vary slightly based on where you buy and shipping, just buying rebound would at the very most be slightly cheaper than team avatar tales. And team avatar tales includes not only rebound but two other fcbd avatar stories and several brand new short avatar stories.

Here are some links for amazon listings of the original release of Rebound. Again it is bound with two other short stories, and the star wars comic's cover is shown most prominently. But given the year listed, that atla is listed in the listings titles, and one of the listings shows the rebound cover, i'm confident these include rebound.
