You can get those contact lens cases and carry around a little dab of each with you. When they run out, just wash the case then refill. Walmart sells a rainbow pack like this for less, or you can find cute ones!
I guess Imgur isn't so friendly on links so I'll put them here as well:

Yep. Gave me a bottle himself.
You can buy a lens remover tool. It's like a little plunger for your eye!

I wear contacts everyday and use these to pop them in without having to ever touch it. Use one day contacts and throw them out after.

For both contacts and this purpose, I recommend the flip up style cases like this!
They're usually super cheap (its the kind my eye doctor gives for free lol), and no more worrying about losing the lid.
After using these for a few years I find the screwtop ones so cumbersome.

Clean and refill: pop the lid off by jamming your pocketknife between the lid and the body and working it away from the bottle. I've been using the same bottle for 7 years for 2 day-5 week trips. Hasn't let me down yet.

That looks like a hypertrophic scar. They're caused by irritation during the healing period.
Have you bumped your piercing recently? Do you move/fiddle with it in any way or do you leave it alone completely?
If I were you, I would rinse it once a day with saline solution and otherwise LITHA (leave it the hell alone) until it heals completely.
I use PuriLens with my sclerals. I’m happy with it and it’s preservative free.

Ah last thing I could suggest trying is one of those applicator tools? Idk if you're from UK but here's one on Amazon UK.
Like everyone said, it's protein build up or dry eyes. My optometrist has suggested adding a drop of artificial tears when putting in the contacts to prevent dry eyes. They also suggested using a contact cleaner every two weeks.
Here's the link for the device.
Edit: My source: I have been using a sclera contact for about 7 years. Had no issues with it till I moved to the Northwest. used to just use the boston solution. After following these instructions, I haven't had a single problem. When I went in to get it checked out, my eye was itchy, irritated and light sensitive. In looking at the ey, my Dr. said it almost looked like a chemical burn. That's when I found I had been doing it wrong for years.
Are you in the states? After Alcon discontinued Unique PH, the licensing and formula was bought by Menicon and is now sold as Menicon's Unique PH on Amazon (Prime shipping, and competitively priced). If you're in Europe, I think Alcon's Unique PH is now sold under Menicon's MeniCare Plus brand name.
I got paranoid and changed every password I use on a daily basis. Momma didn't raise no fool!

This set would probably look pretty cool with some white paracord.

Just replace it every other month. It's hands down the least stressful way to remove contacts.
I'll third this. I traveled 15-months with (at one point - 6) Clear Care hydrogen peroxide travel size bottles and one of these. I've used a spoon to pop the lid off to refille.
