Dehydrated Marshmallows Assorted 40 lb Case
"Question: Can I get a calorie count please? I am watching my figure!"
"Answer: I can assure you that watching your figure and buying a 40 pound bag of marshmallows are two entirely exclusive lifestyles. "
Here is what you're going to do: you're going to cheat.
First, buy Sodium Citrate. Sodium citrate is a very powerful emulsifier, and will let you make cheese sauce of a perfect consistency with no guesswork, using just cheese and, well, that's pretty much it. The result is a sauce where the cheese flavor is not covered up by milk or butter.
There are a lot of recipes that you can find online using sodium citrate, but in my experience the best is this: boil 1lb of dry pasta to just shy of al dente in salted water, drain but reserve the pasta liquid, add 1-1.5 cups of the pasta liquid back in, add 1Tbsp sodium citrate, then gradually, mixing as you go, add 1lb of shredded cheese. Use whatever cheese or combination of cheeses you like, use more cheese if you want a saucier mac and less cheese if you want a less saucy mac. You'll probably need to add more liquid--if you do, use beer, wine or the pasta liquid, and only add a bit at a time. Mix everything up well over low heat and you'll get a perfectly creamy mac and cheese with intense cheese flavor. You can also add spices and other flavors--I like a little hot sauce, a little garlic powder, a little paprika and a teaspoon or two of brown sugar.
This sauce will never, ever break. You can try your best to break it but it won't happen, and if it does just add another pinch of sodium citrate, heat it up, mix it together and problem solved. So stick it in a casserole dish, top it with bread crumbs or cheese, and bake it just the same way you would a normal mac and cheese!

'sup mofos, y'all ready?!
one of my all-time fave snacks pre-keto used to be a warm Auntie Anne's pretzel from the stand at the mall. this recipe is a surprisingly truthful approximation of the taste/texture (minus the grease) and definitely achieves that crisp but flexible bread-y texture that we all crave from a quality pretzel.
i call my dipping sauce "bowling alley cheese" because it reminds me of that particular variety of neon-orange nacho cheese that is traditionally served at your finer bowling establishments. ;)
these pretzels are pretty yummy on their own but dipping them into the cheese really catapults them from good to great. they're also quite simple to make and they'll be an easy sell to kids & non-keto'ers.

I'm on vegan CICO not vegan keto, but I know people who are and they tell me they eat: Beyond Meat (1 gram net carb), Beyond sausages (2 net carbs), Gardein chick'n strips are 4 net carb, Some nutritional yeasts are 1 net carb, Mushrooms 1 net carb, bell peppers are 3 net carb per 100 grams, 2 cups of spinach = 1 net carb, chinese cabbage = 1.5 carb per cup, some wraps are 1 or 2 net carbs, low carb bagels, low carb cookies, avocado pesto, low carb bread, shirataki rice & noodles. Here's an example of a low carb pizza wrap. Many of the more nutrient dense veggies are lower carb, so that's good, but really vegan keto is going to require a lot of creativity with sauces etc. Just doing low carb is much easier obviously.
edit to add - a few other lower carb meals I found looking through the sub I help mod:

nah, this big
Just a tip, I recently discovered the wonders of sodium citrate, an emulsifying salt. It lets you melt cheese in a saucepan without the cheese separating; it becomes a very smooth sauce that you can then pour over nachos. The best part about it is that it's very easy to make and lets you use whatever kind of cheese you like without resorting to velveeta or cornstarch and evaporated milk, or anything artificial. A big bag of it is $11 on amazon and it lasts forever
Since I didn't see anyone mention this here, I figure I ought to:
If you like the texture of melted Velveeta (and, let's be real, who doesn't), get on Amazon and by a bag of food-grade Sodium Citrate.
Here's a link. it seems expensive, but one bag will last you for a very long time.
This stuff is the chemical compound in stuff like Velveeta and Kraft slices thq t makes it melt so well. Mix about 14 grams (about 3 teaspoons) of the stuff to half a bottle of beer, bring to a boil, mix in about a pound of any freshly shredded cheese, and then blend with an emulsion blender.
Bam, perfect cheese sauce.
The last time I did this, I did exactly what I said above, and added 1 pound of taco spiced beef and a can of Rotel, and it vanished quickly.
Let me be clear: I have no problems with Velveeta, it's great. That said, this stuff allows you to get Velveeta like melt out of ANY cheese you want, or any mixture of cheeses, and that's awesome.
You should check out Protein Plus Peanut Flour; I'm a peanut butter fiend and this stuff is just great, especially given that you can get 32oz for $12.
No picking needed.
I used Betty Crocker's recipe as a starting point. All I did was sub Carbquik for Bisquik and heavy whipping cream for milk.
Keto Sausage Cheese Balls
Original Bisquick™Carbquik mixInstructions: Mix everything together well. Roll into balls about one inch in diameter. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes. (I was able to mix, roll, and freeze them at home. I baked them at work in the toaster oven from frozen and they came out fine! They taste very much like the original recipe which I've had several times now.)
Makes about 100. Betty says 102. I got 93.
Nutritional Info per ball: 58 calories per ball. 5 g of fat. 4 g protein. 1 g net carb.
Note: I had 13 on my plate. This was way too much. These are an indulgent treat. I usually bring these to parties and the like, but I was so excited to use the Carbquik which I got this week. I'm keeping the rest frozen for until I have guests over.
(if you don't like frozen banana then low cal icecream also works, or frozen So Delicious Cocowhip)
1 cup Silk Protein Chocolate Pea, Almond, Cashew Milk
30 grams Protein Plus Peanut powder (16 grams of protein for 110 cal!)
49 grams frozen banana
total cals = 301
mix in blender and that's it!

> Unfortunately, I've never seen Lucky Charms ALL CHARMS. Oh God that would be amazing.
Have I ever got good news for you, my friend!
Man, I am proud of myself for this one. First, let me specify once again: This is a large, blueberry scone that is only 100 calories and 3 grams net carbs. It's also only 4 (or 5) ingredients, and it's the easiest thing in the world to make.
First and foremost, the star of the show here is carbquik. I don't know why this stuff doesn't pop up in this sub more often. Look, I love almond flour and bread that actually tastes like eggs as much as the next guy, but when I'm truly craving a flour substitute, this stuff is the real deal. Assuming they aren't grossly lying about the carb content here, this is the way to go when replicating anything "bread".
Here's the recipe:
Then just mix all that shit together. You can knead it a little if you want, it's not super important. Then cook at 350 for 15 minutes or so, just until it starts getting brown on top. I actually cook mine in an air frier, so I'm not 100% sure how that translates to a standard oven.
But dayum. Not only does this taste great, but it's right around 100 calories and only 3 net carbs. Ridiculous. Goes super well with tea or coffee.
Enjoy, keto friends.
www.amazon.com/Protein-Plus-Roasted-Natural-Peanut/dp/B0052OOYOW/ This is available in the US, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could find the same product in the EU. Just google "peanut flour"--it's what PB2 is, minus the added sugar and salt.
Another user's answer:
MyFitnessPal estimates 7 grams of dried marshmallows to be 25 calories.
That makes this 40 lb bag 453,592.5 calories.
If you are watching your diet at about 2000 calories per day, you could eat nothing but marshmallows from this bag for the next 226.8 days.

You know they sell it in bulk, right?

For me, the trick to weight loss on soylent was to go 100% soylent and clear the house out of all other foods. That did two things:
As for ice-cream soylent - that's practically all I eat. I use the powdered soylent, mix it with 2x-3x as much water as normal in a 32oz wide-mouth canning jar (which were 9 for $12 when I bought them) add a blend of 2 sugar substitutes and flavoring (I recommend peppermint, chocolate, butterscotch, papaya and coconut). Then freeze it for about 5 hours so it is solid but not rock-hard (shake it about 2 hours in to keep it from settling before it freezes) and then puree it with an immersion blender right in the jar until it is like soft-serve ice-cream and is just barely the right consistency to suck through a straw.
A bonus of using so much extra water is that one ~24 oz serving of soylent ice-cream is only about 250 calories. That's a lot of ice-cream for so little calories. It is very filling.
This is exactly what I was going to recommend. You can also pick up sodium citrate on Amazon. Works wonderfully. For years I've been on a quest for what I would consider the best melting/falvorful macaroni and cheese. Only after I found this tip, did I achieve that goal.
For me, the perfect cheese is the whole foods unaged cheddar. Several cups of this with some whole milk and sodium citrate makes perfect mac and cheese. Change ratios a bit and you'll have a slicable block of cheese that melts wonderfully.
Sodium Citrate
tried to find a link for the cheese but couldn't find it.
btw, if you can't find sodium citrate you can make it with baking soda and citric acid.

Good luck
Here's the short and dirty list:
That's the quick run down. It's a blast to do, and a helluva lot cheaper than buying at your local B&M! The up-front cost is a little steep, but for about $100 you can get to making some great juice.
It's definitely a thing, here's a link to a good protein flour product on amazon. In fact, I use it almost every day!
A roux based sauce is not the best way to go, although it can be ok with more milk to thin it out and really sharp cheddar to keep the flavor focused, but sodium citrate is the way to the sauce you are describing. It is cheap, easy to source and stable for bloody ever.
And here it is: https://www.amazon.com/Dehydrated-Marshmallows-Assorted-40-Case/dp/B008DJR6HU
you can buy them by the pound online
An average bathtub holds about 50 gallons (http://answers.ask.com/Reference/Dictionaries/how_many_gallons_in_a_bathtub).
To make 100% of pudding, you need approximately:
9% non-fat milk powder
6% cornstarch
5% cocoa powder
0.3% liquid sucralose
79.7% water
If you want to fill your bathtub halfway, you need 25 gallons (200lbs) of pudding, which is:
18 lbs of milk powder
12 lbs of cornstarch
10 lbs of cocoa powder
12 oz of liquid sweetener
Milk Powder - $85.50: 18x http://www.amazon.com/Instant-Non-Milk-Powder-1lb/dp/B0001AVTCW/ref=sr_1_2?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1319355960&sr=1-2
Cornstarch - $16.75: 1x http://www.amazon.com/Cream-Corn-Starch-16-Ounce-Boxes/dp/B0029JWY68/ref=sr_1_8?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1319355785&sr=1-8
Cocoa - $43.88: 1x http://www.amazon.com/Ghirardelli-Chocolate-Baking-Ground-10-Pound/dp/B001G604YE/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1319355718&sr=8-8
Liquid Sweetener - $77.94: 6x http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1319355255&sr=1-1-catcorr
Total = $85.50 + $16.75 + $43.88 + $77.94 = $224.07
If you halved the amount of milk powder and cocoa to make a weaker tasting pudding, you could bring the cost down to ~$160.
I use EZSweets, which is like a liquid concentrated splenda. One bottle lasts me like 6 months to a year.
If you get a drop on your finger you'll want to wash your hands. It only takes licking it off your finger once to teach you to never do it again, but it's pretty great stuff otherwise.
(The benefit of the liquid sucralose is that the packages of splenda actually have carbs in them, because they need some kind of powder to bind the sweetener. This makes splenda counter productive to keto, and other carb restricted diets. The liquid doesn't have the carbohydrates that splenda does, so it won't throw you out of ketosis, slow down your weight loss progress.)
I used to eat PB2 until I found plain peanut flour. Same thing but without added sugar:

I add this to my oatmeal while I'm cooking it, and it tastes so peanut-y for less calories! I also use coconut milk as my favourite brand is 45 cal/cup. The whole milk is a lot of cals as well.
Velveeta is the same cheese used in the squeeze pack Velveeta box. For the Kraft powder based packs, you can buy powdered cheddar cheese in bulk off Amazon and just mix it with milk. A huge container of that, some milk, and a big box of elbow macaroni are dirt cheap in comparison to buying boxed Mac n' Cheese. They are also a bit more of a "homemade" feel than just buying things already made and packaged up as a recipe box.
Here is a pound of Mac and cheese powdered cheese. https://www.amazon.com/Cheddar-Cheese-Powder-1-lb/dp/B00016LZT8
Don't worry. I got your back
I've heard that nutritional yeast can satisfy some of these cravings, although I have never tried it, so I can't confirm! Might be worth a shot.
Here ya go...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001PM0KRU/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1374962216&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY190
Sodium Citrate would be a great addition - it would help keep the cheese emulsified and the queso smooth. When I make mac'n' cheese I usually follow the modernist mac and cheese recipe from modernist cooking, which recommends about 4% of the weight of the cheese worth of CS to be added, e.g. 4g for every 100g of cheese. Looks like their queso recipe uses the same scaling.
I'd also recommend possibly simmering the cheese / milk in a separate pan and adding the sauteed veggies later, so you can run it through a blender or use an immersion blender to smooth the mixture further, but if you whisk briskly this might not be an issue.
This isn't a slow cooker recipe, but if you have sodium citrate or have time to purchase it (I get mine on Amazon), I think the Modernist Cuisine Cheese sauce is the best. The cheese is super smooth and silky. Make sure to pick a high quality block of cheese and have a kitchen scale.
Look for "peanut flour" -- it's the same thing but way cheaper and definitely won't have any sugar added
I'd agree with other posters that repeat meals make life on keto a lot easier. Here's an example of a day for me:
<-- 11am: Chai tea w/ heavy whipping cream, equal sweetener OR decaf coffee from fresh beans, w/ heavy whipping cream, equal sweetener. (Sub almond milk if calories are a concern)
11am - 2pm: Leftovers OR 1 egg, 4 slices bacon, strawberries. If lifting that day, also 1 isopure protein shake w/ almond milk.
2pm - 5pm: ham, nuts, and mustard, rolled up in a slice of swiss cheese x2 (these little wraps are SO GOOD! I throw in some pickles or cornichones if I've got 'em).
5pm --> ground turkey chili with greek yoghurt or sour cream, thai red curry soup, taco bowls over lettuce, FAT HEAD PIZZA, and now, keto biscuits and gravy are my go to's for easy, quick meals.
Dessert: berries with whipped cream, or low carb ice cream with a dollop of peanut butter.
---------
I aim for dinners that are easy, low clean-up, cheap, and which make enough leftovers for at least two more meals, then I eat those leftovers for lunch as mentioned above. I'm in maintenance currently, but when cutting I eat at 1200kcal, so my meals also need to be lower in calories (hence intermittent fasting).
Many people are on the fence about this product, but Carbquik Baking Mix makes pretty solid biscuits. They’re a little crumbly/salty, but when you make them with cheese and garlic butter on top (like Red Lobster) they’re fantastic!
I enjoy the mix for pancakes and mug cakes too, I’ve also made a pseudo “pie crust” topping for chicken pot pie that worked well.

I found the bag in question: here
As of viewing the page the question is the top question on the page
If you have Amazon Prime you can get it for $9.99.
There are a few others as well.
Take this. Pop some popcorn, dust liberally.
While /u/stakesandwich 's method is really good, if you're counting calories, definitely consider investing in an air popper. They're like $30 or less on Amazon. 2-6tbs of coconut oil is 240-720 extra calories of fat!
I would air pop the corn and maybe get something like this cheese powder @70cal/serving. After you pop the kernels, add some Frank's hot sauce, then toss with the cheese. Voila!
Alternatively, you could just make a big bowl of plain salted air popped corn, then add a measured amount of the Cheetos in, so as you eat it you get the taste. Hell, maybe you could even crush them in and use in place of the cheese powder?
Also consider using cayenne powder with either of these.
this has been in my Amazon wishlist for quite some time.
$1 more, 4 times as much as one of those little jars.

well they already sell just marshmellows
It has the silky texture similar to velveeta but with so much cheesy flavor especially if you use sharp cheddar. You can get the sodium citrate from Amazon for pretty cheap; $14 and I've yet to make a dent in my tub of it after making that recipe a few times.
This is the kind I use! You can find it in any grocery store I think in the natural foods section. Not that expensive compared to other seasonings, really.
Poor undergrad student here. To be kind to my wallet I buy a lot of beans rice and potatoes. Black beans are really good for protein. If I need extra protein I take vital wheat gluten and make seitan. There are tons of different ways to prepare this for different tastes and textures (one of my favorite recipes) and It will last a long time for what you spend on it. Also some nutritional yeast will get you that B12 without having to take any supplements as well as give you a ton of other vitamins and nutrients and it too will last a long time for what you are spending. Other than that try to buy fruits and veggies without breaking your budget and try to keep it varied. Good luck!
Get a mortar & pestle and gel caps. Grind super fine, and pack them super tight by tamping it down. I use 00 caps and 1 or 2 is enough to stay good for a few hours.
EDIT: You can use smaller caps, like '0' for a smaller dose. What I use, for the lazy:

I get a quart (32 oz) from Amazon for about 12 bucks, 6 oz for 6 bucks isn't quite as attractive in that light.
Of course!
I mix 1/4 food grade glycerin with 3/4 thayer's toner. I mix up the bottle, and mist it over my face after makeup is done. I use these bottles which have a pretty soft mist for the face, but since the sale happened I figured I would move the operation to a Fix + bottle once it's emptied :)

I have no idea how much spirulina costs, maybe it's not even worth bothering with. But, if you don't feel like tossing out what you already have, Amazon sells empty gelatin capsules, and I'm sure pharmacies and health food stores have them also. You could always fill them yourself if you didn't feel like flushing the money you already spent on the powder :)
I mean you could already buy them, so it wasn't that ingenious. Here's an 8 lb bag.
USP grade glycerin i.e. VG from any pharmacy.
I'm a vaper, (electronic cigarette user). The "e-juice", that is vaporized is typically made of glycerin, propylene glycol, (which is NOT the poisonous antifreeze one, that's ethylene glycol), flavoring, and nicotine.
I make my own juice, cuz it's about 10x cheaper. I'm also sensitive to glycol, so I just use glycerin, flavorings, and nicotine. I bought the glycerin on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Glycerin-Vegetable-Kosher-USP-Quart/dp/B004C7MTLA/
When you do a search on Amazon for "lucky charms marshmallows" and navigate to the link for the 40 lb bag, it will automatically toss a "ref" link onto the address for Amazon's tracking purposes. He found the product, and just copied the whole link from the address bar. Here is my "ref" link. I highly doubt the guy has a referral code set up for himself, since I'm guessing you need some pretty decent credentials to even apply. I usually remove all the extra garbage from the link when sharing, but not everybody is aware that they can do that.

Oh, and for extra bonus fun: the cheese powder from Kraft Mac and Cheese. JUST THE POWDER.
For people with a "weird" or "silly" requirement, a consumable is recommend is Cheddar Cheese Powder by Hoosier Hill Farm, 1 lb
Good for putting on popcorn or making boxed mac and cheese more cheesey
Cheddar powder is amazing. I've purchased a few of these over the years. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008GG9ZS8
Honestly, if you have the time to do it, a proper Tea can be really nice. The taste can be delicious, like an acidic sweet slightly more bitter green tea. I used to toss and wash (w/ water or herbal tea), but my digestive tract doesn't agree with doing that often, strained tea is much gentler on my GI and I know I'm not alone.

There's also Oblate Discs that many people on here find success with. This is for more of a parachute approach (wrap 2g up, drink water, dip pouch in water, swallow it chase with water. Here's some past discussions about them;
Alternatively you could try mixing with an agreeable mixer. Orange Juice and Chocolate Milks are the two i hear frequently. I've also heard smoothies, but this probably depends on your other ingredients and method. Some people are working with Kratom Edibles. There is capsules, some people find capsules less effective, but everyone is different.. You just gotta try them and see what you enjoy.
I read a comment here a couple months back that suggested Japanese oblate discs. You can get a pack of 200 on Amazon for like $6-7 and let me tell you: total game changer. Super easy to use and actually works. They're fragile so you have to be gentle but they're a godsend.

Get yourself some of this. Problem solved!
Solid recipe! I'd recommend messing around with some higher temperatures, I like to do my baguettes at around 500-550. Also, buying a pound of yeast like this is generally less than $5 at a store, and will last you years if stored properly. Happy baking :)
Only with micronized kava. And not capsules...

Yeah, go with capsules or get some oblate edible film. Ingesting toilet paper can't be good for you..

I'm sure it's just coincidence. I chew fresh leaf on occasion and don't even have this issue, and it stays in my mouth for up to 5 minutes. By the way, if you're tired of kratom going everywhere when you toss and wash you should really give these a try :)
These. Yum!

I think he's probably talking about nutritional yeast: https://www.amazon.com/Bragg-Organic-Yeast-Seasoning-4-5-oz/dp/B002863BIW
It tastes kind of cheesy, and you typically sprinkle it on top of salad or pasta or rice or potatoes. Stuff like that. You can also put it in your smoothies.

Aaaaaaaaand they're in the oven.
Edit: It's not very often that I have all the ingredients to make something without having to make a trip to the store, including extras like blueberries. Aside from adding a half cup of fresh blueberries, I also added 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract. My choice of sweetener was EZ-Sweetz; I used 18 drops.

Problem solved.
Or kill wife & son.
Tips.
On that starter kit you mentioned... It's fine, but it isn't the best route if you think you might stick with this.
First up, read up on mixing by weight. /u/Botboy141 has a fantastic write up on it. It ends up being cheaper and faster long term versus mixing with syringes. Take into account that you should use different syringes for each flavor and you'll have to clean them after use... The cleaning murders the time mixing and that kit doesn't have many syringes, so you'll be cleaning a lot.
A break down for you on mixing by weight... It isn't 100% I'd bet, but it should be close enough.
Scale: 16.99 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0012TEQMG - this is the one I have, but the auto shut off is a friggin annoyance. Pick up the one Botboy141 recommends for the extra 14 or so dollars. So let's go with 30
Pipettes: 10.00 for 500 1ml. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005CD2I50
10 for 200 3ml (you can probably find a better price) - http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005IQTSE0
Dispensing bottles x2: 7.00 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00B5139AG
Pg: 13.00 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005F5OJG6
Vg: 13.00 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004C7MTLA
Nicotine: 100mg/120ml 19.00 http://www.nudenicotine.com/product/500ml-100mgml-100-pg-nicotine-base-for-mixing-only/ 50 30ml ldpe bottles: 11.00 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00F098JJA
$113, call it 130 with some shipping here and there.
Now add flavors, assuming you get 50 bucks of 8ml vials from wizard labs and you're running closer to 200. This will get you a good bunch of juice and the next time around you'll probably get 4oz bottles of your favorite flavors and maybe some more pg vg nic and possibly pipettes. It's worth the money, but syringes will be cheaper up start costs. You'd probably save about 70 bucks to start, but it'll cost you in frustration and time, which isn't worth the pain from all I remember with them.
Edit: I say wizard only because of the sample size of the vials... You can use bull city, tfa and lorann direct for 4oz and up on a bunch, or any other vendor really. But 50 in wizard with shipping will probably get you 25 or 30 vials.
Syringes will take away the scale and dispensing bottles and pipettes, so 60 bucks actually, and you'll add about 30 back in a bunch of 1ml, a few 3 or 5 and a couple of 10 for pg/vg and14ga blunt needles.
Hopefully that helps a bit. I can reformat it later on the computer if need be.
Ingredients
1.5 lbs Shrimp (<1g net carbs)
3 eggs (1.5g net carbs) - beaten
1/2 cup coconut flakes (4g net carbs) - ground or chopped
1/2 cup Carbquik (3g net carbs)
Salt and pepper to taste
~ 3 cups canola oil for frying. Can use other oils of course.
Steps
Peel/devein the shrimp while leaving the tail on
Add salt and pepper to coconut flakes to taste. We used 1tb each but found out it could have used more salt and pepper.
Preheat oil to 375 degrees fahrenheit
Coat shrimp in carbquick, then eggs, then carbquick again
Fry shrimp for 1-1.5 mins depending on size of shrimp
Pull shrimp out and place on some paper towels til the outside feels crispy
Coat shrimp in eggs and then the coconut flakes
Fry for another 2-3 mins, again depending on the size of shrimp
Total was ~8.5 net carbs for the ingredients. We didn't use up all the carbquick and coconut flakes so the actual net carbs are going to be less. Cocktail sauce had way too much sugar so we used Siracha as a replacement (~1g carb/tbs). Enjoy!
Why stop there?
You can buy cheddar cheese powder on amazon and I’ve seen it sold at Costco as well.
Meat glue and sodium citrate.
Black garlic.
Maverick dual probe wireless thermometer. You can stick 1 probe in the oven or smoker, 1 probe in the meat, then clip the wireless monitor to your pocket. When the meat hits your target temp, it beeps. If the meat temp or cooking temp varies outside the range you set, it beeps.
Turner.
Baking steel. Works better than a baking stone for making pizza.

Put shoe trees in them whenever they're not in use. Don't wear them everyday. Let them sit with shoe trees in for a day after you wear them before wearing them again.
Once a month, maybe once every 3 months, do this: Wipe shoes down with damp cloth, apply conditioner, let sit for a while. If you're happy with how they look, you're done! If you're not, apply the venetian shoe cream or coconut oil. Rub in until it's got the kind of shine you want.
If you want to get more serious, check the r/goodyearwelt leather care guide.

They are using instant active yeast, it is used by professional bakers and in my opinion is superior to active dry.
There are a lot of manufacturers and types but in general the two most popular types are your standard red label gold label.
Red label is just standard yeast, but gold label is osmotolerant which is meant to be used in dough with high levels of sugar like brioche.

1 tsp of sodium citrate per pound of cheese, dissolve it in a bit of beer or water or wine or, unno, grappa or whatever if you want to give it some more flay-ver, you just need enough to cover the bottom of your pan. Heat it to boiling and begin adding your cheese (grated or moderately chopped works) while stirring. Experiment to get the desired consistency. A block of pepper jack basically turns into perfect fucking queso.
It is really cool that you decided to become a vegan at 15! I made the switch when I was 22.
This should help you get started:

Regarding what to eat, look into Indian food (Full disclosure, I'm Indian). We have some 27 states and each state has its own cuisine. There is a lot of variety. Plus, our food tends to be spicy. So, you don't have to worry about bland or boring food.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_cuisine
Start with something simple like rice and curry. It is very easy to make them. Curry powder or spices needed to make curry should be available at grocery stores.

Since you already have tofu. Check out dishes (stew) that are made with Paneer (Farmer's Cheese). Tofu is a very good substitute for Paneer. This stew can be had with rice or flat-bread.

Finally, you have supplement your vegan diet with Vitamin B12. B12 is made by microbes in sand, and not found in plant-based food.
B12 supplements are the easiest way to get them.

haha I'm flattered. You can pick up size 0 or 00 capsules from your local vitamin shop. Or online with ebay or Amazon. Searching "empty gel capsules" should get you what you want. Filling them is as easy as filling the capsules with your fert. People have been using Osmocote Flower & vegetable, since Osmocote plus was dis-continued. Others use Dynomite fert. YOu can even mix both and use them!
You have to order the boric acid and the capsules separately. I bought Humco boric acid and capsules like these-- definitely go for the vegetarian capsules, as they are less likely to irritate your vagina and will dissolve cleanly.
I bought the largest pill capsules on Amazon. Something like this works perfectly and you can get them in vegan if you need to. Whoohoo! No more taste!
Haha thanks man! I bought 1000 off of amazon for 10 bucks! Here's the link.

What do you guys think of CarbQuik? I tried it for the first time last night and made chicken and waffles and had a serious mouth-gasm. I do realize it has basically no nutritional value and is just a sometimes treat, but I'm glad to have something new to add to the roster.
Yeah they’re called Gelatin Capsules . There are different sizes so you might want to look into that a bit. Also, it’s probably going to be a pain in the ass to fill them if you don’t have a tray for it. There are also small machines that’ll help you fill them on Amazon. Then you’re free to go.

It might be safe, but it might not be. That's why we buy USP grade. You know what you're getting.
Buy this
Super simple, although you do need an ice cream maker.
DO NOT OVERBLEND THIS OR IT WILL SEPARATE INTO BUTTER!! Blend it on the lowest setting your blender has.
Into a blender put the following:
3 scoops of zero carb isopure (this is where much of your flavor and nutrition come from, any flavor works)
2 pints of heavy cream
1 pint of Kalifa Farms 0 Carb unsweetened almond milk
2 teaspoons of Liquid Splenda You can also use liquid stevia or another liquid 0 carb sweetener.
2 TBSP Food Grade Glycerine
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract if you are using vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream, toasted coconut, or any of other cream flavors. For fruit flavors like Alpine Punch exclude this.
Run this all through your ice cream maker, put it into the freezer overnight, and you're good to go.
Amazon has been where I have been getting my vg, almost done with my 7th liter. awesome quality and decent price. also the 2 free day shipping is awesome I have 2 gallons on the way and still ordered an extra liter off amazon the next day just in case i run out of vg today (amazon vg arriving today :D ) so i can fulfill all my weekend orders.
Candy cane is basically straight peppermint isn't it? found a candy cane flavor anyways haven't used it, but FW has some pretty decent flavors in their selection.
There are a few companies with straight pina colada flavoring, but out of them all, I have really started to love Inawera, as every single flavoring i have ordered of theirs has been top notch. Starting to become my new fav vendor, i just hate the bottles can be semi leaky (had them leak a slight bit once during shipping, was no problem, not much wasted, just got it all over my fingers). I still haven't had time to test out "peanuts" yet, but every other INW flavor i have is simply amazing and each one has made it into some very solid recipes of mine. Link to the INW pina colada watch out tho, as they have super concentrated flavorings and some only require less than 1% to hit where i think they taste great. over flavor and you will mute the flavor or create harshness. Try it at 0.5% and move up from there. My guess is for it as a single flavor, it might need to be bumped up to over 1%, but start out low first, then work your way up.
Flavor links are from BCV, which is an awesome company. RTS vapes is about a 10 min drive from me (can't go pick up tho, which sucks) and it only takes a day to ship to me, but sometimes they take a few days to process and also they don't have the nice selection of different vendors like bcv does.
Just realized the candy cane is outta stock at bcv, my bad, but they re stock flavors pretty quick. maybe check out here also since they have candy cane in stock. they also carry most other brands, so a pina colada flavor should be no problem, once again i would reccomend INW even tho ive never tried their pina colada. just some top notch shit they have. Be warnerned tho, it was my first time ordering from them this past weekend, so i dont know how fast they ship or anything. Also, they had a pretty massive sale (40% off) this weekend so that might make processing happen a lil slower than normal. link to inw pina colada on ecigexpress
just don't load up on tons of flavors without meeting the minimum requirement for free shipping. the more stuff ya get, generally the more shipping will be if you dont qualify for free shipping. i hope this helped, happy mixing!

Powdered cheddar cheese. This is basically the powder that comes with boxed Macaroni & Cheese.
I'm seconding /u/might_be_a_troll here. Get some sodium citrate on amazon and then follow this recipe. All you need for a sauce is cheese, liquid, and the sodium citrate. For liquid try stock, wine, or beer instead of water.
I've been really going down the rabbit hole with cheese sauces since I started making beer cheese dip for Oktoberfest a few years ago. The things I've learned are:
This all goes for creamy mac & cheese and sauce but I did a baked mac 'n beer cheese for Oktoberfest this year (topped with homemade marble rye bread crumbs) that was phenomenal. All I did was take that creamy recipe, drop it in a 9" x 13" pan, top it with the bread crumbs, and bake it at high heat for 15 minutes or so just to brown up the topping. My advice for doing this baked version is to use more roux and less milk/beer than you would normally. It set up into a delicious baked loaf of cheese and pasta without any egg or other binder. The result was super rich and flavorful.

You’ll really thank me for that haha. I do 4 of those and fill them with like 3 grams each. It does take a few times to get used to it and you’ll struggle at first, but I’m a pro at it now. You basically just have to roll them up into a little balloon and twist the top, dip them in water then quickly put them in the back of your throat and wash it down. I barely taste a thing and it’s infinitely better than any other Kratom delivery mechanism. I got this idea from the Kratom sub and it’s a game changer!
I switched to these edible films. Don't taste anything at all, and it's the same exact affect you get from TNW.
You can essentially make a batch like you would do with caps and just pop a little edible balloon anywhere with a bottle of water. When you're on the go or lazy, you don't have to worry about measuring, making a mess, getting a cup to toss the kratom in your mouth, bad taste, etc.
I use to do TNW for a few months, but it obviously tastes disgusting and leaves a lingering taste, sometimes you gag when you toss it into your mouth, etc. Switched to the edible films and will never go back to that disgusting shit. Don't get why people torture themselves with that gross shit when this is 100x better with no downsides.
I don't know if this will help you, but check out "Oblate Edible Discs" on Amazon. I just got an order of these in and while they are a bit "interesting" to get use to, they do work.

One important thing to remember about artificial sweeteners, that not many people seem to know:
Part of the "non-caloric" nature of most artificial sweeteners is that they ARE caloric, they're just several hundred times better at activating sweetness sensing taste receptors, so you can use an effectively acaloric amount. However, because there is so little actual physical mass, if they want to distribute in a granular form, they need to include a bulking agent. Currently, everyone is using CORN STARCH.
This means that roughly 1/3 the volume of of granular sweeteners is MALTODEXTRIN, aka pure sugar. A packet of Splenda has about 3 calories, and a cup of granular Splenda has around 150.
If you use a lot of non-caloric sweetener, either account for this or switch to liquid (In which the sweetener is just dissolved in water).
Whip Cream is easy to make, I sweeten it with Ez-Sweets. What I like to do is get some berries (your choice, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries..etc..etc..etc), and make it into a compote.
You can make a batch of them and store them in a mason jar in your fridge for later.
Then you can make the whip cream
You can also store this for later.
Then you can put the compote in a bowl and top it with whip cream. You can also add some crushed nuts so it's sorta like a parfait. The quick part comes in when you prepare it ahead of time to store for later. Then just dish it out when you want some.
Be careful with the granulated form of splenda as it contains Maltodextrin. That can have an effect on glucose if taken in large quantities.
They do sell a liquid form without maltodextrin.
Wow this got wordy! I'm gonna put a little TL;DR at the top here for easy reference:
Pork shoulder blade roasts or steaks are relatively cheap compared to other meat, are delicious and are great for keto. Chicken thighs are also fantastic. I use Nu-Salt in everything to make sure I get more potassium. I sweeten most things with Ez-Sweetz. I explain in more detail how I use the pork shoulder and the chicken breasts below.
---
I buy pork shoulder blade steaks, because they're relatively cheap and have lots of fat, which helps me with my ratios, and they're delicious. I cut them into manageable portions and cook them up for breakfast most mornings (I learned to cook them the way Gordon Ramsay does in this video, ignore the sweet and sour peppers he also cooks as they are loaded with carbs, amd go easy on the garlic, but this is a great way to cook pork chops), it's absolutely fantastic. Not so good if you're also watching your calories, but pork shoulder is a really tasty, really cheap cut of meat.
Anyway, my go-to breakfast is usually a portion of pork shoulder blade steak, about 6 small frozen brussels sprouts microwaved on a plate under a bowl for four minutes with butter, salt and pepper, and a couple of eggs fried up on the side.
Also chicken thighs, which I lay in 13x9 baking pan, sprinkle salt, pepper, rosemary and other delicous stuff over them, cover in foil and bake it for about an hour at 350... LEt it cool, remove the bones (keep the skin and fat in there, just chop it and mix it all together) and then you've got chicken to use in stuff. It's very fatty, but again, that's part of maintaining the keto ratio. I usually will portion that out into zipper-seal sandwich bags, about 200g in each bag, and freeze it. Then I use it to make quick lunches, I mix one portion with about 200g of broccoli or green beans and about 20g of cheese, add seasoning, and freeze it in a microwaveable container.
Aside from that, I always keep some potassium salt (I use Nu-Salt, which is carried in my local grocery store near the salt) on hand to help make sure I am getting enough potassium, I add some to anything I add salt to. Be aware, by itself it tastes just awful... But if you feel like you need some extra potassium, it does the trick. I always use extra if I am getting back into keto after cheating.
My go-to sweetener of choice is Ez-Sweetz, it just makes stuff sweeter without adding any other flavors (I tried stevia and it just was not good in my coffee), and one drop of the stuff is equivalent to 1 teaspoon of sugar. I haven't ever seen it in a store, but you can get it from amazon.
I love cheese. Actually just food in general. I'd love some yummy powered cheese so I can make some cheesy popcorn. :)
I really enjoy my take on Hamburger Helper:
1 lb ground beef
1 package of Shirataki noodles
1 small onion
2tbsp powdered cheddar (any cheese will do here)
4 oz of heavy cream.
In a 12" cast iron skillet, brown the meat on high. Reduce to medium heat, add onions until they are translucent. Turn to low heat, add cream, cheese, and drained noodles. Simmer and stir often for 5-10 minutes.
PS Everyone needs a good cast iron skillet. Get one ASAP and never wash it with soap :)
A 1lb package of yeast on amazon is the same price/cheaper than the 4oz jars of yeast you can get at the grocery stores (at least around me).
I usually put it in a freezer bag in the freezer and use it to refill the last jar I bought from the store like 3 years ago.
Get a pizza stone (or an unglazed tile, or some granite) and a pizza peel. I haven't got a peel yet so used the back of a tray to slide it on to the stone.
I used this guy, Frank Pinello's recipe. He owns one of the top pizza places in New York that has ties to the oldest pizza places there.
Dough -
Then just mix that all up and stick it in the fridge for anywhere from a few hours to 5 or so days. It will make 4 10ish inch pizzas. I personally think it is a good place to start off. I have made 7 so far and they were better than any take away pizza place in my country.
FYI u/jimmy_russula I thought of you when I copied the link on amazon....if you look in the middle, the word boof is hidden in there lol! Look: Oblate Discs - Japanese Edible Film, 200pcs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FQOFLE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_wLMwiiyb4hb1s
Yo you tried to snort it!? I commend your effort but that's a huge waste of time and god knows what it did to your nose. Not trying to be rude, but don't do that again man, yikes.
Have you thought of parachuting it? Amazon sells these little edible papers you can wrap your dose up in and swallow in one shot, no taste at all. People use them for Kratom a lot.
I forget what they're called, but if you're interested, I'll look them up for you. I'm on mobile rn or I'd just link to them.
Also, if you're trying to taper down, I've heard anecdotal reports of people cutting their large doses in half with minimal withdrawals. Kratom also helps with the withdrawal while tapering when taken on a as needed basis (you can get addicted to it too, so there's that).
Best of luck man.
Edit:
These are what I was talking about:
https://www.amazon.com/Oblate-Discs-Japanese-Edible-200pcs/dp/B000FQOFLE
You can put the dose inside, seal it with a lil water, and swallow it whole.
Why not get some Japanese edible film? Same thing but safe and they have flavors! And it's cheap!
Edit- https://www.amazon.com/Oblate-Discs-Japanese-Edible-200pcs/dp/B000FQOFLE

Edit: these are way better than capsules because they dissolve almost instantly. Just long enough for you to make a parachute and gulp down with a beverage of your choice. Way better bioavailability than caps too IMO. Takes a little bit of practice but you will never t&w again.
Japanese rice paper used for taking herbs or medicine.i bought mine here. https://www.amazon.com/Oblate-Discs-Japanese-Edible-200pcs/dp/B000FQOFLE/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=oblate+discs&qid=1559332021&s=gateway&sr=8-1
These oblate discs are the best. They completely dissolve. don't try to do more than 2g per disc, or you risk it getting stuck in your throat. If that happens, you chug water until you get it to dissolve, or you run out of breath and cough it out.
Muuuccchh easier than doing a toss and wash, IMO.

Faster onset and a slight increase or change in effects BUT I have found the effects wear off quicker. The capsules take longer to feel but if your using kratom for energy or pain relief the slower drip of energy might actually be more desirable. The quality of effects from your kratom drink will also depend on whether or not you make a tea and strain it or drink the powder. I have found straining to hurt the effects slightly. I have gotten into oblate discs recently.

Yes! Oblate Discs
Have you seen the basically rice paper wrappers on Amazon?
These?
They're a great option between caps and toss 'n' wash.
I love sweets, I have responded with this combatant.

These glorious things taste like candy.
Sweet baby Jesus: http://www.amazon.com/Emerald-Cocoa-Almonds-Chocolate-Canister/dp/B001EQ55RW
Gonna throw in a plug for almonds here. Particularly the Emerald Cocoa Roast variety. Filling, tasty, few net carbs, and a super food.
Also, try the Greek people method for broccoli and cauliflower. Extra virgin olive oil, squeeze of lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. For me, I also add some cinnamon, cumin, and Mrs. Dash, for the thermogenic boost.
Speaking of cereal, I recently came across this:
http://www.amazon.com/Cereal-Marshmallows-available-21-Oz/dp/B001PM0KRU
The reviews are kind of awesome
Gentlemen, the search has ended.

May all your wildest dreams come true...

I came here to post this, but mine's an Amazon link.

I own a few bags of these and they aren't bad. There used to be a cereal restaurant at the college I work at and I used to get a bowl of lucky charms - extra charms. I vowed one day I would find out where they purchased the extra charms. 6 months ago, I found this link and have been buying them ever since. A regular bowl of lucky charms plus one scoop of extra charms equals pure happiness.
You can buy them separately on Amazon.
Here you go. Now you can really live the dream.
most openers that work are actually pretty bland
that being said, why not just educate her?
Just so /u/egoraptor, /u/dannysexbang and everyone else knows, you can actually buy the cereal marshmallows in bulk!
I looked into it for you, don't click on this link
I'm in! I can get these
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001PM0KRU/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1417292795&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX200_QL40
Amazon sells them also.
I posted about Sodium Citrate a while ago and I love the bejeezus out of it. I'm glad you do, too!
It turns any cheese into a creamy, velvety, sauce when used. My favorite use so far is making Queso with Pepperjack cheese. I get mine from Amazon for around $15.00 USD. https://www.amazon.com/WillPowder-Sodium-Citrate-16-Ounce-Jar/dp/B00250Y9Y6
Also, an immersion blender will be your best friend when it comes to making not just cheese sauces, yet making pureed foods (hello, creamy and cheesy cauli-mash!), custards, whipped cream, gravy, - so many possibilities.
Also, for extra flavor: I add in Seitenbacher soup mix to some cheese and vegetable dishes. Amazon link is here: https://www.amazon.com/Seitenbacher-Vegetarian-Vegetable-Seasoning-5-Ounce/dp/B000FAPM2Q
It add a whole new dynamic to one's flavor palate. I use it to take the "green" taste out of vegetables I don't care for much like green beans. It's also vegetarian-friendly. I find it amazing addition to chicken. cream, and tomato-based dishes. I started off using it sparingly due to the strong taste but love the flavor. It's a little higher in salt, but balancing out one's potassium shouldn't be an issue.
As a Wisconsinite, beer cheese soup is a must around here and this helps mimic the flavor due to having some yeast extract. I usually slip in some Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Märzen, New Glarus Spotted Cow, or a Guinness if my macros are low for the day. :D
Yeah, I've never seen it in a store. I got it on Amazon
Lots of good answers so far but check this out: Sodium Citrate is now known to be an excellent emulsifying aid for cheese based sauces. Here's a similar recipe. Stirring in about a teaspoon or so before you add the fromage should go a long way towards keeping your sauce properly emulsified.
Want to melt your own cheese instead of using canned stuff? You need Sodium Citrate. This lets you get the smooth melty texture without using a roux.

Our local butcher does a 'Meat For A Week' pack for £15 (scroll down the linked page to see it). I get one of these every week.
Added to this are my regular staples (it should be noted - many other things are purchased for my non-keto partner):
At least one whole iceberg lettuce per day (for volume!)
Mackerel in brine
Anchovies in Olive Oil
Very light olive oil for cooking and mayo-making
Eggs
Coconut milk and creamed coconut, to make yoghurt and fat bombs with.
Gelatin, and Collagen from Great Lakes
Coffee
Stevia tabs
Whatever spices I fancy - usually Smoked Paprika and Cumin
EDIT: Almost forgot - this has become my new best friend! - Nutritional Yeast Seasoning
Not a massive list of inspiring food, I know! I do like to keep a simple routine - though I am experimenting with different stuff, this week I'm trying out home made jelly babies!
Brewer's yeast is different, do not recommend.
[This] (https://www.amazon.com/Bragg-Organic-Yeast-Seasoning-4-5-oz/dp/B002863BIW) is the good good. Bulk bins or some places have the shakers or a cardboard cylinder like the kind oatmeal comes in.
Nutritional Yeast
I put nutritional yeast on my eggs and popcorn. It's good.
Braggs brand is what I typically buy
Flakes are my favorite - Braggs or Now are both great.
I get an iced dopio espresso with a splash of breve and then I put in a couple of drops of EZ Sweets. There are like 5 grams of carbs per 2 tablespoons of breve, but I just can't quite kick the habit in favor of full cream or none at all. Still a hell of a lot better than a caramel machiato.
Almost all dry artificial sweetener has starch-based bulking agents to make them measure roughly equivalent to sugar, because the artificial sweeteners are hundreds of times sweeter than sugar.
I prefer the liquid sweeteners like this one; two drops are approximately equal to a packet of Splenda.
Liquid Sucralose like EZ-Sweets
Completely 0 carb/0 calorie.
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1312422076&sr=8-1
http://www.amazon.com/Packs-0-5-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B003LECIDE/ref=acc_glance_gro_ai_ps_t2_t_1
There is 3.4 calories per gram of Splenda. But 1 gram of splenda replaces 2 tsp of sugar which is around 30 calories. This means its more than an 85 percent decrease in calories.
With that said, a better alternative to Splenda is something like EZ-Sweetz, which is a true no calorie sucralose sweetener.
Here is a link to a wolfram alpha comparison of equivalent amounts of sugar vs Splenda.
https://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O
Liquid Sucralose. I'm in the same boat and usually like sweet coffee. Doesn't have the shitty aftertaste of stevia or saccharin.
Try to avoid granulated Splenda. Pure sucralose is actually very very sweet so they put in some other stuff to fluff it up a bit. I think I read somewhere that 1 cup of granulated Splenda has 24g of carbs or something. Try this, I've been using it for drinks and desserts and it's great, plus you don't have to worry about it dissolving properly in cold drinks like you do with granulated.
I trust it's unsweetened almond milk, so you should be good there.
Are you eating a lot of protein? Protein in large amounts can raise your blood sugar. Try to stay around 100-150g per day.
Are you eating ridiculous amounts of broccoli or something? It has a fair amount of carbs, but unless you're eating pounds and pounds of it a day, I have no idea why you're not in ketosis.
I use EZ-Sweetz ( http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1367600656&sr=8-1&keywords=ez-sweetz )
It sweetens fine with none of the normal splenda after taste. :)
Not necessarily. You can't tell by the label whether or not a prepared food used granulated Splenda (which has maltodextrin, as pointed out) or pure sucralose, which does not. I would guess it would be easier for a food manufacturer to use pure liquid sucralose to make mixing and measuring easier (not to mention nutrition information) but I'm not sure about what the common practice is.
If you have access to Amazon.com, EZ-Sweetz is liquid sucralose with no bulking agents added. A 2oz has lasted me since January with probably a third still left in it, and I add it to my coffee every day.
Also, a "reduction in ketones" is not necessarily a function of ingesting carbohydrates. As long as there are any ketones present in your urine, you are in ketosis, no matter how dark or light the purple is on the test strip. A reduction in the quantity of ketones is far more likely caused by a change in your hydration than anything else.
I've had some luck using coconut oil right after a shower. Just slather this on there, and it should help clear the bumps up in a few weeks.
I'm currently sporting platinum blonde hair (bleached from natural black), and while my natural texture isn't too badly damaged, my hair's been way drier than I'm used to. A combination of coconut oil, argan oil, this hair masque, and some CHI products are keeping it soft at the moment.
I'm using this blue-tinted shampoo and conditioner to maintain the blonde color, but back when I was sporting pink hair, I used the TIGI bedhead sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner and it was fairly good to me (didn't wash color out all that fast, kept hair looking shiny and feeling soft and healthy.)
I bought this HUMCO HOLDING GROUP Boric Acid Powder, 12 Ounce
And these
Capsule Connection 1000 Bulk Wholesale"00" Empty Gelatin Capsules
From amazon in 2013, that’s how long it lasts. I don’t use them daily but if something feels off or after a period etc. Then I do one a day for a couple days and that’s enough. I pour some on a plate, scoop it into the capsules and keep the capsules in an old pill jar marked boric acid just in case because you cannot eat them!. Anyway. I do it at night, it makes extra discharge that night but nothing a pantyliner can’t help and then it’s all good.
No, I actually meant plant-based vapes. I've had both the MFLB and the Arizer air and they are wildly efficient. I also ALWAYS stuff pills with my leftovers into these:

Amazon
Get two and you have half a gallon.
Yeah that's not too bad. Of course you can get 1000ml of concentrate for $45! We bought 120ml of concentrate from three sources (1, 2, 3) to compare and she didn't notice a big difference between them. They've all been in the freezer since and still taste fine 3 years later (actually one of them is completely gone and the other 2 are getting pretty low).
I just started with an online calculator and went from there; it's easy to get to whatever % you normally vape at.
I found out quickly that plastic syringes suck - they wear out and the eliquid melts the markings off. So I got a few glass syringes off of ebay (though really I've only ever needed one).
Initially I was super-careful with the nicotine concentrate as it can be fatal in really small doses, but after handling it a bit I realized it's actually very safe and easy to handle. Unless you squirt it in your eye or mouth you aren't going to have a problem - but you definitely need to keep it away from children and pets.
Then a few glass dropper bottles, PG and VG.
Whenever she's getting low she'll order a few different flavorants (usually from here) in 10ml bottles. I rarely mix flavors as it's simpler not to - just dump a full 10ml bottle into a dropper bottle, add 4-6ml of nicotine concentrate, then around 20ml each of PG/VG. Let it sit a week and it's ready to use.
Fatty acids are carboxylic acids with long carbon chains.
Examples are lauric acid, stearic acid, capyrlic acid, etc.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatty_acid
Free means that they are not attached to anything. So in triglycerides (fats), the fatty acids are not free but exist as esters with glycerol.
Glycerol itself is stable. You can buy it pharmacy or grocery store, under the common name glycerin.
But fatty acids, mainly unsaturated ones, can undergo further chemical reactions.
For that $60 you're getting 120 ml you could get started.
$13 for VG
$11 for PG which is optional
Flavors here. Probably end up spending $15-$20. Less if you find a good recipe with a couple flavors
$18 for the higher end nic
Just need 2 1ml syringes with 14g needles and 1 5ml or 10ml syringe with a 14g needle, some bottles (which you can reuse glass bottles), and you're good to go.
Im a huge fan of nude nic. I will always and forever buy my nic there. Cg ms verified, the owner posts great, in deth scientific info here etc... However, their shipping ends up killig it for me. Same with wizard labs. Once you order like more than a quart of anything the shipping goes to like 15 bucks. At wizard labs he shipping was more than the VG I wanted iirc.
Essential depot on amazon.
1,271.661 ml (43oz) of VG
http://www.amazon.com/Glycerin-Vegetable-Kosher-USP-43/dp/B004C7MTLA
12.95 free shipping.
/r/diy_ejuice - for around $30 or so you can vape unflavored + nic for a month or more if you need a cheap way to wean yourself off nicotine.
edit:
120ml 100mg/ml nicotine in PG: http://wizardlabs.us/index.php?route=product/product&path=83_60_65&product_id=77
1 liter of VG: http://www.amazon.com/Glycerin-Vegetable-Kosher-USP-Quart/dp/B004C7MTLA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1449683012&sr=8-3&keywords=vegetable+glycerine
With that 120ml of nicotine, you can make 2L of 6mg juice. So for 50 bucks, you can make quite a bit of liquid.
Keep the amount of sweetener low or zero and it will have the biggest impact on coil life. Low flavor will help in general, but some flavors hardly contribute to coil gunk at all, so it depends on which flavors you use. I haven't noticed any difference in the rate I change coils using 50/50 and 70/30, and I use both regularly in different setups.
BTW, it sounds like you are trying to decide between a finished nicotine base, 50/50 or 70/30 with maybe 6mg/ml nic added already, for example... Sorry if I misunderstand. That way does work but I do it the other way around, and mix my flavor base, then add nicotine to suit the order. If you buy VG, PG, and 100mg/ml nic each in its own bottle, you will have infinite flexibility with every bottle you make.
It's cheap too:

Short answer if you just freeze yeast the freezing water solidifies and punctures cell wells, killing most of the yeast.
Long answer if you add a 50/50 solution of (water or beer) with food grade glycerin the water will get cold but never freeze.
My process:
Harvest yeast- overbuilding a starter is the easiest way or you could harvest and wash your yeast.
Decant Beer from your starter or use water and half fill a 1 pt mason jar and top off the rest with food grade glycerin. Boiling at this point is probably unnecessary but I do it anyway just to make sure no bugs get transferred in. Cool.
I then spray everything I use with Starsan and then dip everything I’m using in to the boiling water.
I use Soda Preforms but will switch to 1.5 ounce glasses once I burn through my preforms because I can boil them killing anything and not have to worry about melting plastic plus they’re cheaper.
I fill them halfway with my Decanted Yeast Slurry and let it settle. You want the settled yeast to be about half of the Preform which is approximately 100 billion cells. I then Decant excess liquid off and top off with your 50/50 (Water or starter beer) and glycerin.
Cap/Label place in an insulated bag with an ice pack to protect from freezing/thaw cycles and place in the freezer.
I get mine from Amazon.com. Two lbs for $11.28.
Yea, prime ship is gone on that one BUT ... a 2 LB package for $13.90 (about $0.44/ounce) is available with prime ship here
And yes! peanut flour = powdered peanut butter. to eat like peanut butter, add water salt + sweetener of your choice. Bonus? I can't go digging into these packages with a spoon like I do with regular PB

Carbquik and Quest Multi-Purpose Powder both make keto baking amazing. Carbquik makes better biscuits, Quest makes better bread, have yet to try cookies/cakes/muffins.

I've used this for pancakes, pizza dough, biscuits, as a breading, in gravies, etc. If milk is required, I used almond milk. The pizza dough isn't perfect, but the biscuits are good and the pancakes are better than any box mix I've had, low carb or not.
You're welcome.
My suggestion was going to be IF with skipping breakfast since you have issues.
There is a product called Carbquic that people seem to like. Might be able to include pancakes in your breakfast everyday if it fits your macros. http://amzn.com/B005YVU6FY

The Review
I cook up various forms of this meal:
Online of course
You just used too much probably, a little goes a long way and if you overdo it you get the sourness.edit: misreadIt's a night and day difference over bechamel or a Kraft packet imo.
I doubt "real" cheese will melt like you are hoping without some help (evaporated milk + starch or sodium citrate).
I had a hard time making any kind of stable cheese sauce until I ordered some sodium citrate. Sprinkle it in with the cheese (3-5% by weight) and the cheese melts instead of just decomposing, and stays stable in its softened state.
Get some sodium citrate and use this recipe for silky mac and cheese.
It is slightly harder than Kraft and dirties a few more dishes, but infinitely better and more fun as you can choose the cheese. My favorite is to use a white sharp cheddar cheese and smoked gouda.
Fun times can also be had by using pepperjack cheese and cheddar to basically make fresh nacho cheese sauce. If you're spice head you can use habeñero-jack.
EDIT: I forgot the best part of this cheese sauce. It actually reheats perfectly! You can make a batch of the sauce ahead of time and use it for several days afterwards so you just have boil pasta and add the previously made sauce.
You can get it by Monday on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Sodium-Citrate-Non-GMO-Molecular-Gastronomy/dp/B00BLPNMYY
This would work the same right?

I don't know if it will work for you, and by this point it is almost cliche, but... coconut oil. I look ridiculously shiny when I go to bed each night, but this has been one of my first winters where it didn't feel like half of my face was flaking off. This is what I use and a tub of it usually lasts me about 5 months, so it works out as not being too expensive. I use it on my face, legs, hands, everywhere. It is magic.
You could order it on amazon! It's usually in the "natural foods" section of stores, if that helps. You won't find it by beauty products, it'll be with cooking or pantry items. It says Walmart carries it in stores, so check in a few places. It might be in the pharmacy section by supplements (e.g. Vitamins), in the cooking section by other oils (e.g. Olive oil), or in a natural foods/organic section.

I just made this for the first time today, and it's pretty good. I didn't blend the chia seeds and this was my first time eating any kind of chia: the consistency didn't bother me. Make it the night before in small plastic containers and just grab one to go with a spoon when you head out in the morning.
http://ketodietapp.com/Blog/post/2014/12/18/Chocolate-Chia-Pudding
I also often make these (with Carbquik) on Sundays, keep them in the fridge during the week and heat up 2-3 of them in the microwave (~30-45 seconds) while I'm making my coffee and then eat them off a napkin in the car on the way to work:

Here is a stellar review if you're not convinced:
> I hadn't thought before about how important diabetes is to a growing boy. My son, ostracized from the mainstream cliques because of his working pancreas, would come home hopelessly depressed - craving some recognition for his future in the entrenched world of football scholarships. He plays well, but kids today are just too involved in their identities as victims to really accept "healthies" anymore.
> After one particular hard practice, Billy came home covered in spinach stains because the vegans decided to protest that day. I hopped onto the Internet to find the easiest way to get my son out of shape. Lo and behold, the answer was right there in our favorite morning cereals.
> A few days later the package came in and I served it to Billy in a three gallon bowl filled with heavy cream. These became his go-to meals, eating them at least six times a day along with as much frozen sausage as he could stomach to stave off malnutrition.
> Fast forward two months, Billy's up 150 lbs with no chances in sports anymore and he's never been more popular. Type-two diabetes fell on him like a linebacker on ice skates and we couldn't be prouder. Now if only Amazon had something for our daughter to grow that muffin top she's always wanted, I could rest easy and finally let them take my feet.
You can buy them in bulk on Amazon.

Eww, Bart, don't put the non-marshmallow pieces back in the box. They go in the trash.
This will also work.
Plus, add some garlic and onion powder.
Haha I order mine on Amazon. It's awesome--http://www.amazon.com/Cheddar-Cheese-Hoosier-Hill-Farm/dp/B008GG9ZS8
Whatever you do you can get more cheddar and sour cream pretty easily. Best use for powdered cheese is making a bechemel based mac and cheese more cheesy, but really anything you're doing cheese can be made more cheesy. Also sprinkle on snacks. I'll lightly oil some rice cakes and shake it with cheese powder in a bag, like disks of pirates booty.
Why not just buy it off of American Amazon? I buy books off of the UK one all the time, so it shouldn't be an issue. I have bought this cheese a few times, its quite good.

What exactly do you mean by 'healthy?'
Is it about calorie reduction or getting more nutrients? Or both?
A very simple, tasty one is roasted cauliflower. Cauliflower really benefits from browning. Preferably roasting. Just wash and dry it (thoroughly), cut into equally sized pieces, whether it be bite size or "steaks," toss in olive oil, salt & pepper (and garlic if you want), spread evenly on a roasting pan, but don't crowd it too much, and roast in the oven on the middle rack or higher at about 425-450F until brown... even nearly black in a few places. It's so simple and delicious.
It makes a great soup too, just blend it with either veg or chicken stock and either some fresh parsley or thyme.
Another veg that does well with char is broccoli. Steam, blanch (heavily salt your blanching or steaming liquid) or microwave (if you must) the cut broccoli stalks until about half done, drain and dry. Toss in olive oil, salt, minced garlic and chili flakes and grill on very high heat or broil until slightly charred. You won't believe how good it is.
Some great books for veg dishes are:
Plenty by Yotam Ottolenghi
Tender by Nigel Slater (this one has a great chocolate beet cake)
The Art Of Simple Food II by Alice Waters (So many simple, classic veg preparations in this one.)

Regarding Mac & Cheese, here is page from Modernist Cuisine at Home:

It involves using Sodium Citrate. Calm down! Don't be afraid. It's a type of salt derived from citrus fruits. If you like to cook with cheese this stuff will be your best friend. The only issue is you don't need very much of it, so you will need an accurate scale that can handle very small weights, but they're not that expensive and it'll pay for itself quickly in the amount you'll likely save in cheese costs, because.....
What it does is it helps emulsify the fats and solids of cheese when it melts and it can be used with just about every type of cheese that can melt, so that means you can use it to emulsify multiple types of cheeses at the same time. Why this matters for you? If you're trying to reduce calories you can mix your favorite cheeses with some lower calorie cheeses (like drained cottage cheese) and still end up with a really creamy sauce without having to add cream or butter. This stuff doesn't make Pasta & Cheese "healthy" but it does help you reduce the caloric value of a cheese dish without sacrificing texture... in fact it improves it.

Get cold-pressed unrefined virgin coconut oil. Organic is nice too.
My bf and I have used [this one] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DS842HS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_.jBCybHBXY6PW) for years with no problems. It's also sold at CVS.
Keep in mind, though it does not seem to be comedogenic for either me or my bf, it can cause breakouts in people who are more sensitive. So always patch test first.
What kind of boxes and litter are you using? Where are the litter boxes placed?
Box size, in my opinion, is the biggest factor in whether or not a ferret will use the box reliably. Most ferrets prefer to be able to get their entire bodies into the box and have room to turn around. A lot of the smaller triangle and square boxes don't allow room for this. I personally use a cat sized litter box. It doesn't have to be a jumbo sized one or anything, just a regular cat sized box. I used a scissors to cut away part of the wall in the front so they can get in and out of it easily. Since I started using cat boxes about 2 years ago, my ferrets have been amazing with going in the box. There hasn't been an accident in months.
Next on the importance list is box location. Please keep in mind that ferrets are burrowing creatures. They like places that are dark and enclosed. The reason why ferrets back up into a corner to potty is because their ancestors in the wild are actually solitary creatures. Backing up to potty allows them to keep an eye on their environment so they aren't vulnerable to attack. Ferrets still have some of that instinctual behavior, so having a box with high walls, and putting it in a corner will help a lot. Just as an example, I have a box in my closet and one underneath an end table.
It's also important to note that sometimes it's easiest on everyone involved to just give in to them. If they have chosen a place to potty, and they do this continually.. just put a box there. It will make them happy and save your sanity and your floor. I see so many people who are vehement about forcing their ferret to go to a specific place to potty. They are hilariously stubborn animals. They will not let you win that battle.
As for litter type: many ferrets do great with pelleted litters, many do not. My ferrets do not like pelleted litters, and so I switched to a scoopable litter made from walnut shells and it made an absolute world of difference. Also, if you are using pelleted litters, be sure that you are completely dumping out the box and refilling it every 3-4 days. Perhaps consider trying a new litter type? Be sure to mix the old with the new 50/50 for a few days so they don't get the idea of digging in it.
(Just a note, since there's always someone who want to try to tell me that scoopable litters are bad: they aren't. The things to avoid in litters: anything made from cedar, anything made from clay, anything that is artificially scented, and anything that contains "crystals". Natural litters made from things like wheat, corn, or walnut shells are safe (Swheat Scoop, World's Best Cat Litter, and Blue Buffalo walnut shell litters are I think the most commonly used) - they do not harden and expand like clay litters. The clumps fall apart fairly easily, and if a ferret for whatever reason decides to dive in - they are made from natural materials that aren't going to harm them.)
That's just my 2c. Using a scoopable litter, a cat sized box, and keeping the litter boxes in covered places works for me. I legitimately cannot remember the last time my ferrets missed the box.
This booster carseat would prove extremely useful, as my son has outgrown his toddler one. Also, with a new baby coming it will be nice to have a carseat that is easier to work for the big brother. :) It's on my high priorities wishlist.
Either that or this coconut oil on my $10+ wishlist. I hear it does amazing things and I'd really love to have some! And I bet you could find a use or two for it, as well.
You want the 100% all natural kind, no preservatives or chemicals. Basically, if you look at the ingredients list, there should only be one thing: coconut oil. Besides that, I can link you to the specific brand that my girlfriend and I enjoy off of Amazon. I'm on my phone though so it might take a bit.
Edit: Here's the link: Viv Lab's Extra Virgin, unrefined, 100% Coconut Oil
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DS842HS/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this is what we started using today, and its only been about 3 hours since we put it on, and the plaques are already falling off. Plus it doesnt look nearly as greasy on as some of the meds weve tried have. AND it seems to be accomplishing the same things the meds have without having to use creams with possible side effects etc. since none of the meds have done anything more than loosen the plaques (they always come back) for now were just going to try treating the symptoms.
So many good things here :D
I had: biscuits and gravy, eggs on hash browns for breakfast, half of the quesarito, a Moolatte from DQ, some Cheez-its (Grooves White Cheddar, they are really good), some Peanut Butter Chocolate fudge, Chinese Buffet (that was terrible), Sun Chips, 2 pieces of pepperoni pizza, some Panera Mac and Cheese that they sell at Costco now, a vanilla cupcake, a bowl of Lucky Charms with tons of marshmallows, and a fresh baked croissant with jam. :)

The powder is actually flour and cheese and milk dehydrated.
>On an industrial level, cheese powder is made by spray drying. That means it is melted down into a liquid, combined with additives, and then sprayed through a nozzle to convert it into droplets. The droplets are then blasted with hot air and vaporized, resulting in a powder.

Well, cost for one reason:
http://www.amazon.com/Saf-Instant-Yeast-Pound-Pouch/dp/B0001CXUHW
But when you think of the cost of a packet of even dry yeast split over an entire batch (or multiple if you re-use), yeast is a relatively small slice of the total cost.
In the link to the original recipe there is a reference to https://www.amazon.com/Saf-Instant-Yeast-Pound-Pouch/dp/B0001CXUHW
Buy a scale - use it for most measuring, especially flour.
Buy 2 thermometers - one to leave in the oven and one instant read for testing done-ness.
Use Instant yeast.
Besides that - read alot about baking then practice and experiment. Try adjusting the water/flour amounts and see what works best for you.
Baking is an art... but it helps if you also know the science.
Hey all,
Made my first pie this weekend. Per /u/jaaypeee very simple recipe seen below. Not the prettiest pizza, but it tasted great! I'm glad it came out a little Frankenstein-ish because it leaves plenty of room for improvements! Next time I'm making a sauce, hit me up with any simple recommendations!
I bought this flour and yeast. Baked at 550F in a cast iron that I sealed with bacon grease the night before. I couldn't believe nothing stuck! It was an AWESOME experience and I already ordered a baking steel and plan to make more pies at my girlfriend's parents place this coming weekend. A special thanks to /u/jaaypeee for the post and tips!
>I used the 48-72 Hour NY Pizza Dough recipe from the book The Elements of Pizza by Ken Forkish. This was the second time using a baking steel. I heated the oven to 550 degrees fahrenheit and let the steel come to temp for about 45 mins. The pizzas took 5-6 mins to bake.

Thanks! It was delicious. I used Caputo "00" Chefs Flour (red bag) and Saf Instant Yeast
Ken Forkish suggests Saf Instant Yeast, this is the one I ordered from Amazon.
I personal use them they're great I think they're on sale for 6.99 I might have bought it for 9.99 or 899 not sure. Also watch the Youtube video they show you how easily it's done here's the link hope this helps taking the kratom much easier as it has done for me.

You're welcome.
I buy from the company Gaia Ethnobotanicals. I personally don't notice much of a difference between the different kinds of blends/strains (red, green, white), but most people do. Reds are considered to be the most helpful for pain and most sedative, while greens and whites produce a more energetic effect.
My personal favorites from Gaia are Bali Gold and Purple 8-in-1 (highly rated for pain). I would recommend trying any of their reds or the two above for pain. If I were you, I would buy their welcome sampler so that you can try 5 different kinds. They often post discount codes on r/kratom and as a first time buyer you get a discount. I don't work for them despite this sounding like an ad, I just really trust them.
I take around 2.5 grams each weekday on an empty stomach - this is very important. Food can disrupt the effects. I eat a light meal about 30-45 minutes after I take kratom via oblate discs. Interestingly, sometimes I don't even notice the effects until mid-meal or even after. I swallow the powder in the oblate discs with lemon water, followed by a cup of ginger and lemon tea. Lemon potentiates the effects and is also good for all around health, while ginger settles your stomach. Kratom can be hard on some peoples' stomachs, so I highly recommend ginger. Like opiates, it can make you a bit constipated. TMI, but I'll always be honest!
Absolutely do not drink alcohol with kratom. It increases chances of nausea/vomiting and even if it's one drink, you'll be left with a hangover because kratom can dehydrate you. That's why it's important to make sure you're hydrated!
I can answer any more questions! I really support the use of this plant for pain relief. I'm not sure if you're a man or a woman, but kratom is also extremely useful for menstrual pain and/or endometriosis pains
Edit to add oblate disc link and more info about stomach stuff!
They are $0.03 per disc on Amazon. That's where I get them, and I would imagine they also ship to Canada.
Try these Oblate Discs. Can fit 2-3g comfortably in one.
Yeah, sure! I just heard about them by word of mouth, and found them on amazon. It is basically making a little “taco” or “pouch” and dipping it gingerly in water, then swallowing immediately. I have had instances where I filled it too much or didn’t wrap it well and it broke in my mouth so I choked on the powder while trying to swallow, but I’ve pretty well gotten the hang of it now. They were cheaper when I bought them (about 3 or so dollars less), but there are 200 discs in each little package. I just now have gotten through half of them since my order in October. Hope this helps!

Video how to (different method, they basically toss and wash a bag after briefly licking it)
I use these little discs, they make dosing easy and hassle free - you can fit 4g in one once you get the trick of rolling it between your tongue and the roof of your mouth to seal it and then immediately swallow - https://smile.amazon.com/Oblate-Discs-Japanese-Edible-200pcs/dp/B000FQOFLE
Also, chocolate milk is magic if you need a mixer.
Try oblate discs. They're better than capsules because they dissolve fully and much quicker. You wrap your kratom dose in one, dip the part holding the kratom in water (don't get water on the part you're holding or it will fall apart), and then swallow it with water. Works like a charm!

Roll them into a cone then fill it with kratom and swallow. You can get up to 7 grams in one if you roll the cone just right. Only roll as much as you can swallow though sonyoubdont choke. The benefit is that it dissolves immediately it your stomach and hits a lot quicker but you don't have to taste it like toss and wash
I did this for awhile, but got tired of it quickly, it's goopy, looks funky, and I always somehow ended up with a mess. There's a tutorial around here for this method, use search. You may be interested in oblate discs, they're great (for more than just kratom).
IMO the best thing for anxiety would be a red Kratom (I respond better to greens so I'd do some experimenting), but with ashwaganda and l-theanine as well. I'll do 1.5-2.5 grams of kratom, 1 gram of ashwaganda if it's really bad .5 if it's not and then .5 of l-theanine. I use these to prepare my doses in advance because these substances don't taste good at all https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000FQOFLE?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title. Put all powder in the middle of the disc then fold it over on one side and use the very slightest moisture, lick your finger, and touch the edge of the disc so it sticks to itself. Then fold each bottom towards the middle and use the same wetting technique.

Going to make my dreams come true.
I think you just need this.
Holy hell WHY OH WHY DID I HAVE TO READ THIS??? Look what is on my WL...going to be deleting that tonight now. :(:(
today's your lucky day. you've got a lot of catching up to do.
http://www.amazon.com/Discount-Herbals-DH-8-Cereal-Marshmallows/dp/B001PM0KRU
You can actually just order the marshmallows from places like Amazon
Though, I always liked the non-marshmallow bits of lucky charms the best.
I didn't share this but...
They lasted me about...3 weeks. If I'm being particularly lazy, I'll eat cereal for lunch as well as breakfast. I probably bought more Lucky Charms in those 3 weeks than any other time in my life. It was glorious.
I think you can get them on Amazon as well.
Edit: Yup!

The Amazon product description boasts some impressive features!

>
use to stop smoking or to quit eating Candy
That's right! Contains less sugar than eating pure sugar! Eat this candy to help yourself stop eating so much fucking candy!
Easy way to get revenge...
Buy a bunch of the bags of just the marshmallows, then refuse to buy more lucky charms until the current box is finished.
While you make them finish the box of marshmallow-less cereal make sure to enjoy a bowl of the all marshmallow variety right in front of them!
Make extra "mmmm" sounds, just to add salt to the wounds.

Sodium Citrate
Magnesium Citrate
Potassium Citrate
am pretty sure any decent vitamin shop (not GNC) will have most if not all of this.
No idea how it would work, but based on someone's post here last night I've read a bit about Sodium Citrate being used in mac & cheese. Seems like if you were melting your own cheeses instead of Velveeta, you'd want to add that to keep the fats from separating.
Amazon
I'm guessing the grainy texture comes from the fats separating when you melt the cheese. If you want to improve the texture of this sauce I would try adding some Sodium Citrate. Sodium Citrate is a salt that will help maintain your emulsion when making a cheese sauce.
It's been a while since I've remembered to take photos of my pizzas, but I'm back! Here are albums from a few prior pizza gatherings:
Since this has come up in each of the previous posts, I'll get a few things out of the way:
The obvious answer here is to not use that cookbook that you were given, and find recipes online that better suit your situation.
>even when I am back at school I can rarely find vegetarian "specialty" ingredients
You don't need to eat jackfruit, seitan, or tempeh to be vegetarian. Speciality ingredients can be expensive and not neessary (buying gluten flour to make your own seitan might be a good idea, but don't buy the packed stuff - it's just not worth it)
When I first went vegetarian and then again when I first went vegan I spent a lot of time on the internet researching recipes. I ignored the ones that had obscure ingredients and still found scores of recipes that I could use. I'm not sure where you are looking.
Nutritional yeast, though, is something that you should invest in. Order some off of amazon if you need to. It's an ingredient that i use everyday in one way or another.
I learned how to cook with basic vegetarian ingredients before stepping up to trying the specialty items. Eat grilled cheese and soup, make a chickpea spread and eat it on toast. Saute vegetables and cook beans and eat with rice. Cook falafel or fry eggplant. Cook a spaghetti squash and make a mash of vegetables to go with it. Make pad thai. There are so many options that don't require special ingredients. If you come across something that has just one ingredient that you don't have, try to replace it with something else or just leave it out completely.
Just experiment with different kinds of food and find out what you like and what's easy to make.
If you get it while it's warm you can sprinkle nutritional yeast ontop. It's got a mild cheesy flavor and it's good for you too. https://www.amazon.com/Bragg-Nutritional-Yeast-Seasoning-Premium/dp/B002863BIW
Nutritional yeast! Holy Smokes, Batman!
Vegan queso that looks so good, even my non-vegan self would eat it!
I can't imagine life without cheese. Do you use nutritional yeast? It is the best vegan cheese substitute, in my opinion. I use it on my popcorn and tofu. Cheese me please!
NOOCH and oysters for B12
I got the sweet and salty kettle corn Boom Chicka Pop! Really tasty popcorn. Nooch is slang for nutritional yeast - it's basically vegan cheese powder that is loaded with B12. You can find it at most stores. This is what it looks like.
I got the Target Organic brand pizza crust. [This] (https://www.fooducate.com/app#!page=product&id=563D4468-9F7B-E1AC-42DE-933017866F99) is what it looks like.

And Budweiser for the drink
It's getting hot in here, so hot, so take off all your clothes
nutritional yeast with multiple shipping options
Here you go, I linked it for you. [Braggs Nutritional Yeast Flakes] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002863BIW/?coliid=I3NBMDNQMNOXC6&colid=WCDK79KQRL2U&psc=0&ref_=lv_vv_lig_dp_it)
If you need a cheesy flavor on things like spaghetti, tacos, etc, give nutritional yeast a try. It's a decent enough substitute. And if you're a food crafty-type person, you can actually make your own fake cheeses. It takes some effort, but from what I've heard it's a worthwhile effort. Here are some recipes to get ya started: pesto cashet ricotta pizza | how to make vegan cheese | the best tofu ricotta
Cook Books- thug kitchen, thug kitchen, thug kiiiitchen! (the original is essential, the other two are just ok) and 'Isa Does it' which is a little more involved but DAAAAAAMN those recipes are worth it... just had her mushroom and tofu stroganoff tonight. Feeling so fat and happy!
Things I wish I would have known sooner- so many people will confuse vegan and GF 😑 and it's 100% easier to just bring a filling snack to share to parties then just trying to eat the whole veggie tray. Chances are most people won't want your "weird vegan food" and so then you can eat it all and won't go hungry! Yay! Unless they do try it and like it then you get to shout HA ITS VEGAN! Double yay!! Just kidding, kind of. But really social things got so much less awkward when I just started bringing my own bomb dishes to "share". Also a lot of cities have local vegan meet ups/ Facebook groups and it's nice to be apart of those, and people In my city are always sharing what groceries have sales/ new veg items. That really helps!
Go to meals- I ate A LOT of gardein and freezer steam in bag veggies when I first went veg, I never even cooked real tofu on my own until years later. I was a lazy asshole who ate at McDonald's. BARF. Also Vegan Basil Cashew Cream Lasagna and the best cheese sauce for Mac and cheese or literal pour it on anything: BEST vegan cheese sauce
Oh and if you haven't discovered my lord and savior cheezus NOOCH ...you need this in your life ( also used in above recipe) : Nutritional yeast

I use them all the time! They are 1 net carb per every tablespoon. For a single serve dish 1 tablespoon is pretty much perfect.
They are reminiscent of cheese. I will usually add them into cauliflower rice, shirataki noodles, sprinkle on roasted broccoli, etc.
I highly recommend trying them, the first 1-2 times you taste them you might notice a slight metallic kind of iron-y taste, but I swear I love this stuff. The vitamins and low carb count are worth it.
I sooo want to like stevia. But I don't. Most of it tastes nasty.
In general, I try not to use sweetners at all, but when I do, I use this:
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O/ref=sr_1_3?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1404834454&sr=1-3&keywords=sucralose
Or, sometimes, because I really want to like stevia:
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-Stevia-Monk-Fruit-1-36oz/dp/B00AQ50DEM/ref=sr_1_1?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1404834542&sr=1-1&keywords=stevia+monk+fruit
For stuff with a strong natural taste, I can get away with the Stevia/Monk fruit combo. For things that are not that naturally strong flavored, or require quite a bit of sweetening, I just break down and use the sucralose.
On a related note, this year I'm growing a stevia plant in our garden. First time trying it. Those leaves are like candy! Just pop one in and chew. For some reason, a straight, raw leaf tastes fine. Maybe its just the novelty factor.
Yes, Spenda has around 1g carbs per little packet thanks to the maltodextrin filler. If you use Splenda a lot, try pure sucralose instead.
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O
No filler.
I've been doing this for a while. I started out with EzSweetz however found that it was even cheaper to buy sucralose in in bulk and make my own.
One of the main problems with a sucralose-based simple syrup is that you don't get the texture you get when using sugar. Sucralose syrup feels very "thin" and it has a noticeable effect on mouth-feel.
Just for (possible) future reference, this is the only fake sweetener I can stomach. It has no weird aftertaste or anything, it just tastes like sugar. It seems a bit expensive, but I've had my bottle for about...2 months & it's only half empty. Highly recommend. Good luck! :)
ez sweetz is the best tasting one out of all the ones I've tried. I wasn't a fan of the taste of liquid stevia at all.
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421802180&sr=8-1&keywords=ez+sweetz&pebp=1421802174738&peasin=B002MO765O
I'm in the same boat. I just moved to Hawaii and I swear, no one diets here at all. And they eat rice with everything. I'm afraid to say the word "low carb" around these people :)
So I have recently bought on amazon a bunch of things I USED to be able to find my local grocery stores, such as:
I bought them in bulk and they're all going into the freezer.
I will probably try this Unsweetened Shredded Coconut soon because the I Breathe I'm Hungry blogger is always using it and I can't find it unsweetened here...
And I've always bought EZSweets on Amazon, I've never found it in stores anywhere.
I'm having issues finding Pork Rinds in Hawaii by the way, so if you find a good spot to order them online, let me know.
Granular splenda has carbs in it that can add up. I personally use EZSweetz liquid sucralose instead, and it's great. You do have to get used to the idea that two drops is the same as a spoon of sugar, though. At the start I was over-sweetening everything.
I use this stuff called EZ Sweet for my coffee that are little drops of liquid sucralose, one drop is equivalent to one cube of sugar. It is SO sweet, one time I accidentally put four drops and it completely ruined my coffee and I had to start over. It's clear and doesn't smell like anything, you could probably empty a whole squeeze bottle into some half used creamer and they wouldn't be able to tell, but it would be insufferable to use!
I learned this early on and sought out sweeteners (both natural and artificial) that do NOT use maltodextrin or dextrose. Some examples:
(1) Pure liquid sucralose (no filler, just a tiny bit of water)
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347770996&sr=8-1&keywords=sweetzfree
(2) Powdered Stevia extract using a non-carb filler (like fiber):
http://www.amazon.com/SweetLeaf-Stevia-Powder-4-Ounce-Shaker/dp/B001E5E3LW/ref=sr_1_1?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1347771237&sr=1-1&keywords=stevia+powder
One good additional strategy I use is to check this is Wikipedia's "food energy" chart on sweeteners (shows the total caloric energy for any substitute, such as maltitol) before I actually use anything:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar_substitute#List_of_sugar_substitutes_and_their_equivalent_sweetness_to_sugar
I bake a ton and swear by : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B002MO765O/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1408562281&sr=8-3&pi=SY200_QL40 I've found the cheapest almond flour there too.
This is what I use, and it's really popular for it's price/quality.
Here is just one example of many threads on the subject. Additionally, you could type in "coconut oil hair" on YouTube and find videos. There is a ton of info out there on it.
You don't have to drench your hair, but yeah, cover it all enough so that you can feel the oil is evenly distributed. Some people do this dry, but I find starting with damp hair helps to spread it out when I comb.
Couple spoonfuls a day of this: Coconut oil
Bonus: Zero extra fiber intake needed... If ya know what I mean.
http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Way-Organic-Virgin-Coconut/dp/B003B3OOPA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334915168&sr=8-1
I use this. Some people eat it straight for health benefits, I have yet to try this.
Like this? I hadn't heard about coconut oil or anything of that nature until this thread so I want to make sure I'm actually getting the right stuff. Is there a specific type you'd recommend?

edit: posted this twice and then deleted one. Notta Reddit pro.
you should be good. the vg you use is usp grade which is the same that eliquid manufacturers use. if you want to use different vg i highly recommend essential depot vg. I use it for my diy eliquid & it is great
Wherever you go you should be looking for USP Food Grade VG (which also might be labeled as Kosher), conveniently sold by Amazon if you don't like leaving the house and/or wandering aisles.
I’ve been freezing yeast for a couple years. The process in that link is a lot more complicated then it needs to be.
I use a variation of this process.
Tips
You’ll want to be as sanitary as possible.
I can reliably fill 4 soda preforms.
I’d recommend one have a different color cap to let you know you’re almost out of that particular yeast strain.
I keep the beer/glycerin mixture in a mason jar and bring it to a boil from time to time since you won’t use as much of it as you’d expect.
Save used preforms to re-use.
Only do this for yeast you’ll use or have a hard time getting ahold of. You’re not saving money by saving yeast you’ll never use.
If I plan on reusing yeast within 6 months I’ll wash the yeast and place in a mason jar.
In my experience it takes the yeast a day or two longer to wake up once pitched into a starter. Make sure you build that time into your brew schedule.
I only use Essential Depot, once you find the right recipe you should change nothing and i know ES will be around when i need them.
I have been getting my PG and VG from Amazon. Its cheap and if you have prime it gets there super fast.
I use the essential depot VG, and PG. I get them quarts at a time for like 11-13 bucks apiece and that shit lasts a long time. You will go through more VG than PG usually.
I used to get my nicotine from wizard labs but I recently started using nude nicotine, I recommend it. In the DIY sub youll see a shit ton of vendors and a bunch of brands people swear by. Thats the part that can be overwhelming.
you can get bottles so many fucking places, if you just want a few amazon will do you right, wizard labs has em. Lately I have been just getting them from fasttech cause they are decent bottles (plastic) and they are cheap as fuck. when searching for bottles a good tip to have is 1/2oz bottles are 15mls and 1oz bottles are 30mls,
https://www.onestopdiyshop.com/ is a pretty awesome place.
http://wholesale.heartlandvapes.com/ is nice too.
For just starting you dont need much, PG, VG, NIc, Bottles, Flavors, Get a couple of 1ml and 3ml Syringes, and some 14g needle tips for VG based shit, and 18G tips for PG based shit.
My mixes are mostly VG, so I get my nicotine in VG Carrier base. I think I have pretty much covered most beginner info. I hope you decide to check it out its pretty rewarding and fucking fun.
Come hang out, Lurk about or whatever
I forgot you will also want to use a ejuice calculator, I use the POTV ejuice calculator on my phone it works well and its free. Its in the Android and iOs store. Peace!
Just snag yourself anything that is USP grade such as https://www.amazon.com/Glycerin-Vegetable-Kosher-USP-Quart/dp/B004C7MTLA/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1497008120&sr=8-1&keywords=usp+vg
What nicotine concentration are you looking to buy?
If you want to make a 3mg/ml juice, at 75/25 ratio, you could buy
Find a clean 1L container, pour the entire contents of the first bottle in, then top off with the VG. Boom. 1 liter of 3mg unflavored juice, at 75/25. Minimal measuring or screwing around needed. You do need to shake it very very well though.
1 L of juice for $30. That’s $3 per 100ml and is actually still kinda expensive.
Walmart, Walgreens, Target - It's just about everywhere.
http://www.amazon.com/Glycerin-Vegetable-Kosher-USP-43/dp/B004C7MTLA
Edit: Link
Nicotine quality varies so sick with a reputable source like nude nicotine. Pg and vg are about the same but I'd still get it from a reputable source. This seems to be the cheapest and is good quality.
Glycerin Vegetable Kosher USP 43 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004C7MTLA/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_2tYJub1T9F4VY
Essential Depot Propylene Glycol 1 Quart Essential Depot http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005F5OJG6/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_quYJub0G6VXPH
Yes, but I would also recommend Essential Depot, http://www.amazon.com/Glycerin-Vegetable-Kosher-USP-Quart/dp/B004C7MTLA
It's literally just a bottle of VG I got from Amazon.
Specifically this.
Buy USP grade. That's 99.7% purity and is about the best you can get, even ACS (american chemical society) grade, which is the highest possible purity grade for reagents, only asks for 99.7% or higher purity so you don't have to buy this:
http://www.fishersci.com/ecomm/servlet/fsproductdetail_10652_627381__-1_0
you can just buy this instead:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004C7MTLA/
Same for PG, use USP, not food grade. Food grade is just whatever passes the GRAS (generally recognized as safe) for oral consumption grade, which doesn't put a bar on the purity, really.
If you have Amazon Prime free shipping, and maybe even if you don't, Essential Depot is a great source of PG and VG.
As /u/EdibleMalfuntion already pointed out, Carolina Xtracts is the place for top-quality nicotine base with no worries about peppery taste or anything like that, but if it is too pricey for you, look at other sources. VapersTek is one that comes to mind as being highly recommended. Nude Nicotine used to be, and still is by some, but they have had some pretty serious customer service and quality control issues lately.
Hey dude! I purchased a starter kit when I started making E-juice, and while it was helpful I quickly realized that I could of gotten more for less had I known what I needed. It is a lot cheaper to just buy the products individually since you will also be getting a larger amount too. Here are some links and in my opinion this is the cheapest way for someone to start DIY:
VG- https://www.amazon.com/Glycerin-Vegetable-Kosher-USP-Quart/dp/B004C7MTLA/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1480546689&sr=8-2&keywords=vegetable+glycerine
PG- https://www.amazon.com/Essential-Depot-Propylene-Glycol-Quart/dp/B005F5OJG6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1480546865&sr=8-3&keywords=propylene+glycol

Nicotine- https://www.nudenicotine.com/products-page/unflavored-nicotine-base/
And as for bottles it is all up to you I personally buy mine from http://wholesale.heartlandvapes.com/eliquid-bottles/plastic-eliquid-bottles.html
*Lastly all you need is flavorings, I think it would be best for you to search around and find what you like, I personally prefer http://gremlindiy.com/ and http://www.bullcityflavors.com/ . Hope this helped!
Here is PG and VG, but I'm not sure how to check shipping rates to you.
You could also try using /r/juiceswap if you need someone to re-ship it to save on costs.
When mixing everything together. What do you all do to pour and measure the vegetable glycerin? I bought this from Amazon and it's thick. Should I keep it at room temperature? Should I heat it a tad to decrease the viscosity? I couldn't use a syringe on it nor could I use a funnel to pour it into my flask.
Does anyone know where I can get a dripping top cap that I can attach to this VG bottle? Its such a pain to get VG out precisely without it

Hey r/diy_ejuice I'm trying to assemble a diy kit and I need some input about what else I might need here's the base kit I'm starting with https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01G2QZQG8/ref=gp_aw_ybh_a_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=AXPR7QPMX4ZG7KM8PRT1 and here's the VG/PG I'm looking at https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004C7MTLA/ref=pd_aw_fbt_328_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=7J2NNYPXJWABZD7SDMX7 https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005PZBRUC/ref=pd_aw_fbt_328_img_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=7J2NNYPXJWABZD7SDMX7 and here's what I'm going to store the juice in https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01N1LTEUD/ref=pd_aw_vtph_194_tr_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=G2WNGJ8AZ775WWDDK65V I think all I need now is to find flavor concentrate and nicotine, and if there's anything else you think I might need please let me know.
I bought this
Couldn't be happier, even arrived next day through prime shipping.
Edit: not prime, still next day though.
pure vg on Amazon
Are you wanting a tank with coil heads or build them yourself?
As far as VG, check out Amazon. This is a good deal http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004C7MTLA/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1418647359&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40
I haven't been mixing that long and I'm not really happy with anything I make. I am wondering now if its the VG I got, it has a distinct rubber after taste to me. I got it off amazon here : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004C7MTLA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Do you think its the VG or am I just doing it wrong? Note : I usually mix at high vg, normally 80/20 VG/PG.
Edit : My PG came from amazon as well but I tried vaping 100% VG and its definitely a taste in the VG
Have you ever had any issues with their VG? I know 2 different people who have (one who got a bad cough from it, and another person who received a bottle that wasn't sealed well at all and appeared old).
While Amazon reviews of their VG are generally 5-star, there's are a couple of 1-2 star reviews on there speaking of the harshness and the possibility of old stock.
I've never tried it myself so I can't vouch either way.
Are you looking for unflavored nic juice or just straight VG or PG?
For unflavored nic juice, Wizard Labs has some pretty good pricing when they actually have it in stock (they also carry literally tons of flavors).
As for straight VG or PG (for DIY flavor mixing) Essential Depot on Amazon has Kosher grade VG and PG.
no added sugars or sweeteners like some of the peanut powder products. it has the natural sugars of any peanut product.
2lb for 11
nutrition label is there.
>You can also buy PB2 in bulk!
Half the price
Guess it depends on which one you get. This one is 4 net carbs for 30g. The chocolate peanut butter keto chow has about 6g net carbs while vanilla has about 4.
I bought some protein plus peanut butter powder over the weekend to add to my regular chocolate keto chow.
https://www.amazon.com/Protein-Plus-Roasted-Natural-Peanut/dp/B0052OOYOW/ref=sr_ph_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1517839150&sr=sr-1&keywords=peanut+flour
I had been buying regular chocolate and adding PB2 because I like extra peanut flavor. However, when I saw Chris used peanut flour I decided to try that instead since it has less carbs and more nutritional benefits.
Whelp, it's pretty much perfect. If you're missing Chocolate PB I'd highly suggest investing in peanut flour.
It is slightly more specialty. I order mine from amazon. It is like $14 for a large bag or $6 for a small bag and lasts for months. You can also find sugar free pbfit in many stores, but that has added monk fruit and salt and is much pricier.
https://www.amazon.com/Protein-Plus-Roasted-Natural-Peanut/dp/B0052OOYOW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=peanut+flour&qid=1558631113&s=gateway&sprefix=peanut+flour&sr=8-3
The peanut flour is soooo great. I found it on Amazon, but I think it's also at vitacost (for cheaper, probably). The binder is the most interesting part actually, it's the Vitafiber syrup. It has a light sweetness and the consistency of honey. You can get it on amazon too
https://www.amazon.com/VitaFiber-IMO-Syrup-2-64-28-4/dp/B00TIX50OQ
It saves you calories because it takes the place of oil and some of the sugar. I love this stuff.
edit to add link
I bought some on Amazon. This is the kind I got. I think it tastes the same as PB2, but it doesn't have any sugar in it. If you like the PB2, this unit is a lot more flour and costs more than the little jar of PB2, but it's cheaper per ounce because you're buying in bulk.
This is what I buy to stay away from the sugar in pb2. Tastes natural and delicious!

> Planning on doing just that once I get my fridge better stocked.
For sure. I think it's all about mindset; keto isn't supposed to be a fad diet you slip in and out of to lose some vanity weight, it's a lifestyle. Finding foods you genuinely enjoy that fit into the diet is absolutely key to sticking with it; afterall who wants to stick with a diet that makes them miserable?
>The problem I am having with this MFP states my calorie goal is 2820 But I would have to eat all day to reach this. Even with just what I mentioned above its always around 1300 end of day and I feel completely full.
Exactly. I disregard calorie suggestions almost entirely because they are pretty unrealistic for me unless I absolutely gorge myself and feel stuffed around the clock.
Typically speaking I start my day with a boosted coffee (which you can totally do yourself with butter + coconut oil + coco powder I just appreciate the convenience) and then around 1-3pm I have a grass fed beef stick and boiled egg or something roughly equivalent not because I'm super hungry but because I know if I don't eat a bit I'll be extra hungry at dinner and make 2 people's worth of food ;) and then I have plenty of room for whatever the heck I want for supper. I'm similarly recommended to eat ~2.8k calories a day and most days I'm barely half that.
On sundays I make a half batch of carbquik biscuits and have two of them, two eggs and a nice keto sausage gravy which clocks in at ~6 net carbs as my "cheat but not cheating" treat.
But ultimately, mixing it up keeps me loving the food I eat which makes it a breeze to stick with keto for me.
It's a low net carb flour. I've used it for biscuits and pancakes and such.
Try carbalose flour or Carbquik.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0079OPFO6/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1491060662&sr=8-1&keywords=carbalose+flour

Carbquik + Protein powder of choice + Unsweetened cashew milk = Magical pancakes or waffles. Usually around 190 calories, 26g protein, and 14g fiber when I make them. Around 2g net carbs.
I make waffles with them. They're crispy so be careful when transporting them, but it's an easy whey to get more protein. I like chocolate protein powder + carbquik + coco powder which produces a brownie-esque waffle/pancake.
Carbquik can also be used to make cheesy biscuits or whatever else your heart desires.
I also like string cheese, pepperoni slices, cottage cheese + protein powder (or yogurt), Kroger brand's carbmaster products, and oven roasted veggies.
There are also "parmesan crisps" and "asiago crisps" that are sold at grocery stores that are for salad toppings.. But could easily be a low carb snack. :-) You can prolly make those at home too.
Cabrquick. you need Carbquick. I use it for biscuits and pancakes. I havent tried desert stuff yet.

I'll add to this, especially for the Afro-Americans out there.

Shavers...

After all of the cordless electric shavers I've used over the years, my Remington F5-5800 Foil Shaver gives me the smoothness shave I've ever had without using an actual razor. I finish off by edging up and trimming with a [Philips Norelco G370] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FED5DU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_F702AbWT46ATE) (it was <$100 and it's probably outdated by now) I've used it for ~4-7 years and dropped it a few times. It leaves the skin a bit rough, though, but I've rarely ever nicked myself with it (if at all).

Instructions & Maintenance...

Read the instructions and follow proper maintenance (brush, clean, oil, etc.). Always.
And for the record, both of my shavers are easy to clean. The Remington requires more effort, especially once a month, but the Phillips only requires a quick brushing (I add Andis Clippers Clipper Oil). The "hardest" part is letting the Remington dry for so long before putting the head back on. Don't brush the clippers while it's on, btw. Seriously, you'll ruin the brush and end up needing to replace it.

Battery Life...

If the instructions say to let the battery die before its first charge, I do so. If it says to fully charge it for X hours before its first use, I do so. Now, people of Reddit had a particular conversation about battery life once. I never looked into the matter myself, but I started practicing it with all of my chargeable devices. After the initial required drain (if instructed), I always charge it after it hits 30-50%. I do my best to never let it drain completely to 0%. The idea is that the battery will actually degrade much quicker if it drains to 0% and will need to be replaced sooner. Feel free to call me a fool on this one, but please explain your reasoning.

Razers & Magic Shave...

This one requires a story or warning.
I wet shaved with my brother's razor when I was in high school because my cordless one (probably a Phillips) wouldn't work properly when I put it back together after taking the top apart for a full-ish cleaning for the first and last time (the school started reinforcing its facial hair policy).
Though it was my first time, and I shaved against the grain, I didn't cut myself or apply anything to my skin before or after. My face was so smooth that I kept touching it. Three days later, I start noticing bumps. By the fifth day, I had full on razor bumps everywhere I originally shaved. Bump Stopper II took a month or so to really any progress and around three months to really make an impact, but it left my skin dry and very flaky. Eventually, I moved to Skin Tight Razor Bump Ointment Extra Strength. It burned like hell in the beginning, but showed better progress. That and washing my face daily with soap and a towel of course.
Since I still had to shave, I just went over the bumps with a shaver and routinely wiped the blood away. Due to a barber's suggestion, I started using Bump Fighter Razors. He warned me that they were going to miss some hairs, but it worked well enough.
At some point, I was recommended (powder blue) Magic Shave because it would "eat those bumps up" (oh, boy). This stuff stinks, flakes all over the place, and can tear up your skin if you aren't careful. I tore a descent sized section of my skin off when I dragged a wet towel down my chin at the wrong angle once. I could see the skin sitting intact in the towel with the inner-end of my hairs barely sticking out of it. Was a really weird moment. That section of my face was pink and hairless for awhile before it healed over. Looked funny on my lovely complexion. For the record, I only used it every three or four days. Three is the minimum, IIRC.
If you're going to use Magic Shave, use a wet towel to wipe it off (prepare to rinse repeatedly), designate a magic shave cup that is to be used for nothing else, consider only wearing boxers, bring a broom and dust pan, and stay in one room or outside. Hell, turn the vent on, you stinky mutt. Overall, I do not recommend Magic Shave's original formula (powder blue). I cannot speak for its powder gold fragrant or creme light fresh scent version, though.
Now for razers...
I started using the cheap pack of (dark blue) Gillette dual-blade razers from Walmart in high school. They worked very well. Here are my instructions: Shave with the grain, rinse the blades after every stroke, thoroughly rinse the blades after you're done, wipe them carefully with a toilet paper to get extra crud off, and let air dry somewhere. Hell, thanks to another Reddit conversation, I kept a short round plastic container of isopropyl alcohol around in college to "shake" the razer in as a finishing touch of cleanliness. Supposedly, the alcohol evaporates after awhile, so I just let it air dry after that (read the 4/24/18 edit at the bottom). The blades lasted a pretty long time doing all of this before I need to pull out a new razor. That combined with how cheap they were...

Razer Bumps / Ingrown Hairs...

I found that daily shaving, Skin Tight creme, and actually washing or just wiping my face with a clean damp paper towel kept the bumps from fully returning. A trick I discovered to get rid of the ones that lingered was to grow my facial hair out. It looked awful for a month since the bumps returned as the hair grew (they might have been curling into the skin), but there's a point where the bumps start to recede into the skin and all you have is a full beard (minus some areas of the lower neck). Now just maintain it or shave it off. What you'll find is a smooth face with practically no bumps. You must keep the hairs from growing back, though (and maybe wash your face?). Mess that up, and the lingering bumps will return.
Oh, to hell with Bump Stopper II and don't bother with Skin Tight. My physician recommended Tend Skin Solution after I graduated college, and, let me tell you, it works better than both. I hear the ingredients aren't that bad for your health either.

My Routine...

I wash my hair (including facial) with Bubble & Bee's hard water shampoo (the price is worth it, especially since it lasts for a surprisingly long time), pour on and rub in their vinegar rinse ratio (a fourth of the bottle tops; it's optional when you purchase the shampoo), wash that out, apply Nature's Way Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil to my facial and scalp hair while still damp/wet (I'm not 100% certain about using it on the scalp yet; used to use AVEDA Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil twice or thrice a week), brush my facial hair (soft bristles for the cheeks and neck; medium bristles for the beard and moustache) once in the morning, and apply Tend Skin Solution twice a day with cotton balls.
I should be using the foil shaver daily, but I don't always. Hence why I brush my cheeks and neck.

In closing...

If you're close to (or cool with) any Afro-American males, especially ones who've just started growing facial hair, consider having them read this so they can learn from my mistakes. Those razor bumps were rather unsightly.

tl;dr: Use Tend Skin Solution for razor bumps, wash your face, follow instructions, foil shavers leave smoother skin, read the section on battery life, don't shave against the grain with a razor, and don't use magic shave or bump stopper II.

EDIT (4/24/18):
About my shaving cleanup steps. I later realized that letting the isopropyl alcohol dry on the razer caused the blades to dull quicker, so I started rinsing them off and wiping them with toilet paper a second time as the final step.
Not very greasy since it's so light. But it can take a little while to absorb, like any oil. It doesn't cause me to break out, but that's pretty individual.
I buy whatever brand's cheapest. I've definitely bought this before. I just look for something with minimal processing (extra virgin or virgin) and no ingredients other than coconut oil.
Well, as I wrote, there are some kinds that taste good (once the acquisition o' de taste is in effect yo) and the other that is just mildly singed grease. (not bad and not de best)
If you don't find a brand/type you like that way you can always flavor as the cashews (though those are high in carbs) post ahead of this mentioned.
your link wasn't specific enough - do you work for nutiva? 'cause it brought me to the homepage. It's cool, I dont' go on Reddit very often because of all the trolls and mean people but suffice it to write is that my experience is that if you find a tasty one like this http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Way-Organic-Coconut-Ounce/dp/B003B3OOPA
and you aren't a pussy, you can have spoonfuls as a supplementation quick and easy. I hate grease and dairy in my coffee and that is the only reason I'm saying once your palette can handle it, it's best to have the option in the morning or whenever.
Buy one brand for cooking, buy one brand for supplementation, and figure out which brand is best for sexy time. I won't be back so good luck.
It's super cheap on Amazon. I've heard great things about this brand.
Here you go! I have also learned from 2XC that pure coconut oil works very well as a lubricant for sexy times as well (warning: does NOT work with condoms!)
It does actually. My hair loves coconut oil and I was told to always use unrefined, extra virgin organic. While the smell's not bad by any means and fades after about 10min, it does bother me some what. Now I use this, and have gotten pretty much the same results without the tiresome scent.
I hope you will try a kale smoothie!! They are hella nutritious. Here is my jam: buy a head of kale at the store (purple is the bomb), take it home, cut off the stems, wash it, dry it, chop it up, and put it in a big Ziploc bag. Then i stash it in the freezer, so it stays good and never goes bad or wilts. I keep an old protein powder scoop (1/4 cup) in the Ziploc, and throw 2 scoops in my morning smoothie. You can use any protein powder you like; i use Jay Robb whey or egg white powder. I also put some grass-fed unflavored gelatin because a lot of the keto/paleo sites recommended it. I also add a few (about 1/8 cup) of frozen blueberries to help the flavor.
Make sure you leave enough space in the jar for it to blend properly. My Ninja individual jar has a "max fill" line which is helpful. blend the shit out of it or else you'll get the "liquid salad" effect. I will add some Kerrygold butter, or olive oil, or coconut oil to the shake if I need more fat that day.
I used a Magic Bullet blender for a long time, then I upgraded to a Ninja, which is what I use now. Someday i want to get a Blendtec or a Vitamixer, but I don't have six hundo to throw down on a fucking blender.
I buy the Nature's Way brand of coconut oil, to me it tastes pretty coconutty. I tried to get my dad to eat some, because MCTs help with memory in addition to all the other amazing things they do, but the stubborn old man won't eat it because he is convinced it will make him fat. That shit is like catnip to me, I love it. I love all the other great "fat bomb" recipes folks post on here. Good luck!!
Thoughts?

Amazon, really, they have the best deals. Something like that, with prime. Such a great deal. I just rubbed some on me before showering :).
Coconut oil should be in all households. it has so many uses. Unless they are allergic. D: I would love a scarf, I have a small thing for them. They can be very crafty to wear! You do amazing work. Thank you for this contest!
I have thin-stranded, quite fine hair, but a LOT of it. It's fairly delicate but can seem to take lots of abuse lol
I did co-wash for about 6 months using Tresemme Naturals, but it just didn't do great things for my hair, it was dull and dry and kind of sad. I went back to using regular shampoo and conditioner, I use Fructis Triple Nutrition and I love it.
Here is the protein mask, available at Sallys.
Here is an example of coconut oil, brand doesn't matter, as long as it's virgin, cold pressed oil. You can find it at the grocery store in with oils, it's solid and white at room temp, but melts in your hands, it's also completely edible. A hair product with coconut oil in it is NOT a good substitute! Apply 3" away from roots, conditioner by itself gets it out just fine.
Anti-residue shampoo
Edit: I just realized that this is suddenly an Addon item. Wtf it wasn't like a week ago.
I used to buy that brand and liked it, but it became hard to find. I now get http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003B3OOPA/ using Subscribe & save (one every 3 months) and it's about $7 a delivery.
Amazon. This is what I use.
Also coconut oil is great for popping pop corn. I then add some butter + brown sugar over the batch. It tastes amazing.
What's the difference between refined and unrefined? According to the Amazon description of the one I have it's unrefined...
Variable results, I've spoken to some people who've had first hand results that bio-oil has helped them clear out their stretch marks years later in a matter of months of persistent application. While at the same time it has not helped others, or perhaps they were not as persistent with it.
I've battled with stretch marks myself during a rapid weight gain period during school ~40 lb, but I didn't use Bio-Oil. I did use Virgin Coconut oil several years after the fact. I've since lost the weight, but the stretch marks were quite severe at the time. The marks are hardly noticeable now though, but I didn't really see results until at least half a year of applying coconut oil regularly.
You'll find a lot of anecdotal stories of it working/not working. However, the way I see it, regardless of whether or not the stretch marks disappear, it's quite healthy to keep your skin moisturized anyway. Applying the oil to your other body parts, will also be moisturizing your hands which suffer insults from day to day activities whether it be push ups on the ground or washing dishes.
I just buy mine on Amazon
You don't even need to cook your AVB. I'd recommend getting some 00 gel capsules and filling them with the straight up herb, or eating it in a peanut butter sandwich. https://www.amazon.com/Capsule-Connection-Wholesale-Gelatin-Capsules/dp/B00428B6X6?th=1

Just buy your favorite kratom. Put on Netflix and make some capsules until u finish the bag and u no longer have to deal with eating kratom. And you can weigh one capsule and figure out how much u are taking at a time. Cherrs
I recently bought this Capsule Machine and 1000 capsules off of Amazon...and it does make it easier.
I weighed the capsules the other day and I was getting about 7g in 10 of them.
I usually take about 3-4 capsules and that is about 2-3ish grams. It comes with a little tool that packs it, and I usually do it about three times and ta-da!
It also makes 24 at a time which is awesome.
I buy mine online from Amazon. I get like 1000 for $13.00 I also bought a capsule maker that is very helpful. I couldn't stand the taste of the tea. If you ever run out and need some fast you can go to a vitamin store they sell them. I get size 00 they are larger and hold more.
I got them off amazon too. Got these ones http://www.amazon.com/Capsule-Connection-Wholesale-Gelatin-Capsules/dp/B00428B6X6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00
I know exactly what you mean with the taste, I usually can't even hold the abv down if I taste it. So I would recommend you make cannacaps. You'll still get gross abv burps and farts but they won't be as bad.
First step would be to get your abv to a fine grind, basically powdered. It's not super important, but it makes a difference in a couple different ways, and mortar and pestle sets can be pretty cheap. Hell you could probably even makes one that gets the job done. If you do grind your abv further, that's gonna be the smelliest part of this process, so I'd recommend you prep your room better than you would just for vaping.
The next step would normally be to water cure but since you're in a dorm that's likely not an option due to both smell and access to equipment. I have another method you can use to cure your abv with a pressure cooker that doesn't require an oven, if you're interested I can write that out for you, but I'd imagine smell would still be an issue.
Once your abv is ready, you can start to cap them. 00 sized caps work best IMO, they're pretty big so they hold a lot of abv. You could totally fill them up one by one, but if you can I'd recommend grabbing a capsule machine so you can fill a large number of capsules (the one I linked does 100 at a time) in like 10 minutes. The machine also does a super good job at getting as much abv as possible into each cap, which is part of why a super fine grind is important. Oh and if you do go for the machine, MAKE SURE you get one that matches the size of caps you have, I made that mistake once.
Regarding coconut oil, I don't usually use it but I've heard really good things about it maximizing THC absorption. I don't believe you can easily infuse your abv with oil without a kitchen/smell, but if you wanted to you could put a bit in the caps with the abv.
And there you go, simple cannacaps! I'd recommend you have a large fatty meal with or soon after taking the caps to maximize absorption. I'd also like to note that IME abv cannacaps fuse is even more unpredictable than just eating it, I've had it take like 4 or 5 hours to hit with caps.

Oooh man, I have lupus and fibro, so I understand pain! Kratom has been awesome for my pain relief!
I just realized that I didn't talk about dosing. I use gel caps since the taste of kratom is awful. I buy my [gel caps] (https://www.amazon.com/Capsule-Connection-Wholesale-Gelatin-Capsules/dp/B00428B6X6/ref=sr_1_3_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1491481358&sr=1-3&keywords=gel+capsules) on Amazon - and that's where I got my [capping machine] (https://www.amazon.com/Quik-Capsule-Holder-Tamper-capsules/dp/B01JDK7OVK/ref=pd_bxgy_121_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01JDK7OVK&pd_rd_r=34W4FW40VSKYW3TA901X&pd_rd_w=AkTzC&pd_rd_wg=zpi6C&psc=1&refRID=34W4FW40VSKYW3TA901X) as well. I use a [micro scale] (https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Weigh-SWS100-Digital-Pocket/dp/B00EPO9M2Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1491481482&sr=8-2&keywords=micro+scales+digital+gram) to weigh mine, but [this chart] (http://pin.it/tCm11E2) is pretty accurate.
I know a lot of people do the "toss and wash" method, or just mix the kratom in orange juice or yogurt. I've tried those, and it was a waste of my kratom, as I couldn't keep it down (the taste is just that bad, lol).
So, for me, I have a very low tolerance for meds and drugs and only need to dose about 1.2 to 1.4 grams (that's 2 capsules). I would suggest starting at 2 grams and seeing how you feel. If you need more pain relief after 20 minutes or so, I'd take another gram. Wait another 20 minutes and wash, rinse, repeat. 😉
Kratom can be a bit harsh on my stomach, so I make sure I have a little food in me before I take it. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions!
If you haven’t tried this already, I strongly suggest making cannacaps! They’re super quick and easy to make once you already have your infusion. First, warm it up a tiny bit (just enough to melt it), then take a small syringe and fill up some empty pill capsules. Seal those babies up and prepare for liftoff :)
If you’re vegan/vegetarian, they make vegetable-based capsules. Also, if size 00 capsules are too large for you to comfortably swallow, or if you want larger capsules so you don’t have to take as many, you can buy size 0 or 000 capsules (0 being the smallest) instead.
They’re super convenient! For each batch you make, start by taking one to determine how strong they are. I pulse my ABV through a coffee grinder before infusing it and skip the straining step to maximize efficacy, since taste isn’t an issue.
I LOVE my capsule machine. I got mine for around $18.00 on Amazon and it included the 00 empty capsules (I spied them at a local smoke shop for 15.00) and works like a charm! TnW makes me throw up so I'm relegated to capsules ;)
I've bought lots of different brands of capsules and have found that the NOW 750 count 00 Capsules work best, but if you're looking at a better price you could try these ones sold in bulk sets of 1000 . They smell a little funny to me, and don't always go together properly. But that's probably my own user error.
ya like these

http://www.amazon.com/Capsule-Connection-Wholesale-Gelatin-Capsules/dp/B00428B6X6/
if you have prime you could have them by wednesday for a whopping $12 total
i bought some of these 2 years ago and am just now getting low..
P.S. Edit, "00"'s I think only carry 500-600mg
I would just purchase powder from a vendor of your choice, then get these and something like this It takes a little time but it's way more cost effective than buying pre made caps. The empty caps I linked are size 00 which will hold about .5g each but you can go the next size up (000) and those hold about 1g each iirc.
Edit- words
I make pills out of mine so I don't have to taste it.
I buy empty gel caps on amazon for cheap and then just stuff the AVB in there with the tube from a small pen to tamp it down tight. Takes anywhere between 4 and 10 pills to get me high, depending on how dark I've been making it.
You can find them much cheaper than that. eBay as mentioned, here's some on Amazon for under $13 if you have Prime: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00428B6X6/
Possibly cheaper options exist there also. I used to get NOW foods capsules for around $6 per 1,000.
I spend around $8-$10 on mine now, but I accidentally ordered a size 0 capping machine years ago and just stuck with it. I can get about 350mg-400mg per capsule, which is fine for me as my dosages are on the small side.
So this is a touchy topic but my wife and I have a TON of sex and sometimes I think it is the frequency that we do it (we don't use condoms when it's just the two of us) that can trigger this.
I am hesitant to post this because we have real life swinger buddies who read this sub, but anyways, here's our home remedy. Don't be grossed out.
Some first aid boric acid powder scooped into empty gel caps, inserted vaginally. If you have an exceptionally heavy play session might wanna douche it with peroxide first to nuke the bad microbes, then insert one of these after.
What causes BV? Imbalance in vaginal microbial flora. How does that happen? Lots of ways, could be hormonal imbalance, could be something is feeding the bad microbes (semen has a bit of fructose in it, and some lubricants might too, or who the fuck knows what kind of germs are on fingers or mouths) or could be a bacterial infection you need antibiotics for. However if it's something that reoccurs in reproducible situations I would say it's something throwing off your wife's pH and this might help.
Is it safe? My wife's gynecologist prescribed her these that were made by a compounding pharmacy in town. We ran out and started making our own. Seems to work exactly the same. Try at your own risk.
Do one at a time. If it doesn't clear up after the first one, do another one later that day, or the next day. Abstain from sex till you get it under control. If it doesn't work after a couple days, forget it and go back to the gynecologist . . . but this isn't an uncommon problem it's just not discussed openly because people think it's related to "bad hygiene" and women are ashamed of it.
Amazon! Just look up 00 capsules, plenty of options!

Here's what I bought! These were suggested in the original post I read and worked for me. It's a LOT of product, but it's pretty affordable. Just use a panty liner if you put one in at night because the capsule degrades and leaks out (kinda like the ovules that prescription treatments have.

Little more expensive than what you picked out but it shouldnt be too different
You may need to add a little pg or distilled water to thin the vg. Pure vg can have trouble wicking because its abit thicker than juice
Not sure what link you're wanting, so I'll post a few - better to have too much info than not enough!
This is the VG that I buy on Amazon. I use this for my sugar scrubs as well!
This is the Halo Shamrock e-juice (Belgian Cocoa & Malibu are nice, too). I get a lot of other e-juices from a local vape shop that has a tasting bar. The shop I frequent has their own house blend that tastes exactly like a Hi-C Ecto Cooler!
This is the kit I use - it's an iTaste with variable voltage and variable wattage.
Amazon Prime: Essential Depot VG, 1 quart, $12.97
Amazon Prime: Essential Depot VG, 1 gallon, $23.47
I bought some of this at Walmart once, but it tasted a little funny to me, almost perfumey. I get the quart bottles from Amazon and they have a very faint sweet taste, but otherwise taste very clean.
add some VG (vegetable glycerine) if you like a less harsh vape, or PG (propylene glycol) if you like a more harsh vape. VG is usually a better bet though. you can get some VG HERE
You can. I prefer to buy it off Amazon though TBH.
I buy Essential Depot Vegetable Glycerin And Propylene Glcyol
No reason I just like to stick with one company.
Heres The DIY Clone list. The all loved Nana Cream is on there and Im vaping it now and its wonderful. I think enough flavoring to make like 120ml was $10???? Cant remember off the top of my head.

Some comments:
2 You are looking for an Ego Threaded Beauty Ring.
3 You can also buy MUCH better tanks like an Evod for cheap and they have replaceable coils so they are worth the investment. I personally have had better luck with something like a protank or BDC, but anything with replaceable coils will be a big step forward. Also the better build construction means less leaking.
4 PEG-400 is not really an ideal base for any ejuice. It has a bad taste and does not carry flavors very well. You would have much better luck using Vegetable Glycerin or Propylene Glycol.
I would get VG and PG from Amazon. It's cheap as dirt and it comes with free shipping with Amazon Prime.

About 11 bucks for a quart of VG. IS that a good deal? What about the "palm derived" tag, does that affect vaping?
I'm guessing you are trying to diy juice? If so the VG I buy which works as good as the other brands I've bought and lots of others use from Amazon is palm derived.. Now idk about flavorings but this is maybe a step in the right direction for what you are looking for? Gold luck don't let the Reddit trolls get ya down 😂

I bought this a long time ago. You can use vegetable glycerin for a lot of things.
Is there something special about this Vegetable Glycerin?
You can get similar quantities at much better prices on Amazon, and they're USP grade as well.

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004C7MTLA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_ejvnTKDEfxf9A
If you're going to vape like he suggested here's what to get.
For VG/PG this is food grade and what everybody uses: https://www.amazon.com/Glycerin-Vegetable-Kosher-USP-Quart/dp/B004C7MTLA/
Here's the scale everybody uses which goes down to .01 grams and is flawless: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005UGBG20
Sign up for http://e-liquid-recipes.com/ and then you can use the calculator to measure with grams and break down the pg/vg nic and flavors which is the tool all DIY e-juice use. Back in the day we did it by volume which was a pain in the ass and doing it by grams is a game changer.
I wouldn't bother with nic but if you do choose so nudenicotine.com offer a free sample ($3 shipping) get the 100mg pg version. If you do go into ecigs DIY section for safety. Although if you have common sense it's actually very easy and safe but go to the right section in DIY.
Get pippets: https://www.amazon.com/Teenitor-Plastic-Transfer-Pipettes-Dropper/dp/B01G82SJRY/
Get some latex gloves or something.
If you're going to add flavoring this is my favorite: http://www.bullcityflavors.com/natural-mint-wg-inw/ - or their mixed mint which is the same but menthol - Eucalyptus will clear your sinus for a year.
INW is a premium flavoring company because $2-3 dollars for flavoring is expenisve in the juice world, that's why every vapor should DIY but they get overwhelmed with all the info, but it's easy as hell. The 10ml (don't bet the 30) will last you probably your whole life. I would go either 1% or 2% using the calulator, I couldn't imagine using anything above 3% because it's so crazy concontrated.
Nobody that mixes regrets buying the scales. American Weigh Scales LB-501 and Here's a quart of vg for $13. Get your pg there, too. Here is What you need to know about nicotine. Don't want to research recipes? Gremlin has ready to mix. A calculator. And get lots of bottles: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D1GV8LU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Look on Amazon.
Less than $12 for 1 Quart of VG, free 2 day shipping if you have amazon prime
Here is what I get.
Here is the PG
I get my flavours from wizardlabs
I bought this. I also have another spray that I made with more glycerin (half glycerin half toner) and I use that as a sticky base for my makeup. Prevents cakiness too!
That VG might be OK but many people recommend http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004C7MTLA and it's what I'm using. Until recently (9/18) it was $2 cheaper. :(
I get my vg at amazon.
/r/DIY_eJuice likes Amazon
Hey, I just bought 2 of these VG and it is perfect, you get a lot for your money. As you said $4 for 6oz this is worth it!
Did I buy the wrong VG/PG? My ejuice smells and tastes like plastic, vapes OK just tastes off. Like a plastic or chemical, kinda hard to say exactly how it tastes.
I just copied a recommended dessert flavor recipe to the t and steeped it for 5 days (no light, shook vigorously twice daily).
I bought:
I smelled the VG and PG in the bottles they came in and didn't notice any smell at all. All the flavors smell like I'd expect them to.
I'd assume it's just the bottle I mixed it in, but I put some juice I bought in an identical bottle and it tastes/smells fine.
It's not USP. I wouldn't vape it. You can get a 43oz bottle of USP VG for $12.97 from Amazon.
The shipping on that will cost almost as much as the pg. You really should mix it with vg,, so I suggest these two.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005PZBRUC/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1373432354&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX112_SY192

For $28.92 you get half a gallon of unflavored juice. That's 1856 ml. At 5 ml/day that would last 371 days.

With the glycerin make sure it says USP or Food grade, and it should be vegetable glycerin. This is what I've been using and it seems safe.

I had ordered peanut flour due to it being advailable for next day shipping. Do you believe it is ok to sub this one for the bryd brand that is recommended for chocolate peanutbutter?
Your response to my comment saying powder is much more expensive:
"Nah. Get defatted peanut flour. You get a lot and it goes a long way."
Don't make false claims. It isn't anywhere close to being cheaper.
Stuff labeled as "peanut butter powder" such as this are generally pretty expensive. I try to look for "peanut flour" like this. They are the same thing just the flour doesn't have salt or sugar and isnt labeled as a specialty product, it's just a flour replacement. Both can be reconstituted with milk or water to make peanut butter and be added to smoothies and baked goods.
Get this and add salt and sweetener.

You can make low-carb biscuits with CarbQuik for breakfast foods (I use it for biscuits and gravy).
KNOW Foods makes a bread mix, which is 2-3g net carbs per 1/2" slice. I've used this for sandwiches and just cut the slices really thin (like 1/8"-1/4").
I'll also second the idea of a cabbage leaf - a bit sturdier and more flavorful than something like iceberg lettuce.
>I love them. I can't live without pizza. Fried food is awesome.
It sounds counter-intuitive, but the cravings aren't a psychological thing. It's a hormone thing. Go low carb, and it brings your blood sugar down, which brings down your insulin levels, which brings down your cravings. It's actually fairly amazing how well it works for most people. Stay low carb (I completely recommend very low carb, which seems to reduce cravings much better, so here's another vote for r/keto) and the cravings will go away.
For some people the cravings take a while to go completely, and sort of fade out over months. For others (including me), all carb cravings were gone in a week. Now when I have cravings it's for really good Brie, or olives, or bacon (you'd think all that bacon would get old, but it really doesn't).
Pizza? You got it. I like Fat Head better than regular pizza. No, that's not hyperbolic BS. I swear to God that stuff is amazing.
Fried food? Fry away! You can't fry anything with lots of carbs, but fried chicken is a go and fried mozzarella sticks are perfect. Basically you can fry anything as long as you learn how to use almond flour, coconut flour, and crushed pork rinds instead of bread crumbs (ok, I'll cop to cheating a little on this one; sometimes I mix in some panko because it coats better; just track your carb intake and if you're under your carb limit for the day, it shouldn't be a problem).
Missing pancakes? Got you covered.
Honestly, keto is a fucking delicious diet. The hardest part is really that you need to re-learn how to cook with new ingredients. I highly suggest hanging out in r/ketorecipes.
Oh yeah. Halo Top ice cream.
Do you have Bisquick in the UK? Bisquick is a biscuit/pancake mix in the US, and CarbQuick is a low-carb version of it. It is an excellent low-carb product! Here are some links for you. Maybe someone reading this in the UK can tell you if it is available there.

http://www.tovaindustries.com/carbalose/page1.html
I am a newbie but I heard about carbquick. I have been waiting on payday (tomorrow) to order some but it looks like a nice alternative for someone who can't break their addiction to bread LOL.
Speaking of bread, I tried making Oopsie Bread 2-3 days ago and they were a success!! I used them to make me a real hamburger. Made my whole week.
To hit my sweet tooth, I blend some heavy whipping cream and peanut butter in a blender or food processor, squeeze a couple drops of liquid Stevia, and then freeze it. It doesn't take long to get an ice cream consistency. Or, you can line a plate with saran wrap and flatten the mixture on it, freeze, and then cute it into strips so it resembles a "bark". My kids love it.
I also recommend drinking as much water as you can, I know that helped me. Also if you like ice, munch on ice chips.
For convenience, you might even look into Keto Chow. It's basically a meal replacement shake that tastes really good.
I have seen others mention Halo Top. I have never tried it, but wanted to give you that suggestion.

I haven't tried this yet but the reviews are pretty good. Let's you make a low carb versions of anything bisquick makes.

its a lower carb baking mix comparable to bisquick
https://smile.amazon.com/Carbquik-Baking-Biscuit-Mix-48oz/dp/B005YVU6FY?sa-no-redirect=1&th=1
Yep. I also use Carbquik sometimes to thicken sauces and gravy.
Low carb baking mix I found on Amazon. I've seen pretty mixed reviews on here but decided to try it for myself. The pancakes are the only things I've used it for but there was a chicken and dumplings recipe on the box and I'll be trying that for damn sure!

I'll report back and let you know how it taste!
No, they are not good substitutes at all unfortunately. If you have some specific recipe maybe we could help but for the most part you would want specific recipes.
I assume you are using it to make non-keto, bread type recipes?
If so, look into Carbquick I have used it several times and it works pretty well, it uses Carbalose flour and not any nuts so they should be good to eat it
I'm not a doctor and that was not medical advice :)
Right, but there is a difference between cauliflower pizza crust and a frankenfood version.
Also, at the end of the day - this way of eating has restrictions. Trying to dance around it by eating starches that just inject fiber into everything to trick your macros might make it difficult to stay in ketosis.
But again, it is a matter of opinion. For example, I adopted the "fuck the foods that made me fat" approach and rejected anything that even resembled a "cheat food." But others like to experiment. If they are able to make cakes, breads, etc while staying in ketosis - more power to them.
This stuff is surprisingly good, and is keto-friendly, so I'd imagine it's fine for slo-carb too: carbquik

First of all, your username gives me a chuckle whenever I see it. Its so random. I hope. Unless you have panties made of pizza....
I really, really want low carb baking mix so I can finally try pancakes, muffins, etc again. I've been trying to eat low carb and I miss all the things!!
Thank you for the contest!
I did keto for a few years before moving up here and a little bit after (unfortunately, STL's great food scene got the better of me). Trader Joe's was good for some of the staples. I honestly never found anything of value at Aldi's except meat and cheese, which I can just get (better quality) anywhere in STL. Everything else was overprocessed or frozen food shit.
TBH, literally the only thing you'll run into SOME issue with is the flours/powders. If you end up having to find them online, so be it, just buy bulk and don't worry about it. Be sure to get unblanched almond flour AND almond meal, as they're two different things for two different uses. Don't let anyone fool you.
Also, Schnucks carries at TON of flavors of Halo Top ice cream which is keto-friendly you are welcome.
I did end up ordering online a few times but I'd make huge bulk orders of staples. I did most of my keto shopping at Netrition.com, they have a lot of "weird" stuff. I bought some CarbQuick but never ended up using it. Most people would say you're "not supposed to" make foods that are keto versions of baked goods (mostly) because it'll just make you crave the real thing, but who knows. I fell off that ship a long time ago. Now I'm big enough to sink one.

Nah man. They're available from other sellers.

Get some of this, and sprinkle on some of this and some of this.
Ta daaaa!
I'm 99% positive that THIS is the kraft cheese powder found in the blue box. Even if it isn't exactly the same it will give you a rough idea of the nutritional specifications.
It has been done!

So I bought some cheese and sour cream & onion powders when in the States, because so many people raved about having them on popcorn. But, when I try putting them on, they seem to both be just a sticky-finger mess, and also not really add that much flavour to the popcorn. Am I doing something wrong?
One thing you can try that I've had luck with is to actually replace the flour with cheese powder. Like, the same sort of dehydrated cheddar that comes with boxed mac and cheese. (ex: https://www.amazon.com/Cheddar-Cheese-Hoosier-Hill-Farm/dp/B008GG9ZS8/ )
Doesn't taste as authentic as a real bechamel, but it sure is tasty for home use.

Maybe some powdered cheese like this?
I used to keep a couple Cheetos in a pepper grinder. Much easier than trying to replicate but I’m sure it’s possible. You can buy just about any cheese in powder form and make your own blend.

Hells yes. I had one final canister of this stuff hoarded in the freezer from before they discontinued it, and went through quite a bit of it while pregnant. My grandmother always had a can of "Grated American Cheese Food" around, which is long gone, and I can't even find a pic of it on the Internets. Luckily this stuff is a fine replacement -- allegedly, it's actually Kraft powdered cheese.

Amazon my good man
I use this brand, which I got at Amazon, but if you search for sodium citrate at Amazon there's lots of other brands. I bought it about a year ago and still have some left.
Here's Modernist Cuisine's melty queso dip, using sodium citrate, and here's their macaroni and cheese. I've made the mac and cheese before using cauliflower as a substitute for noodles, it's pretty good!
Sodium citrate is an emulsifier. I got mine at Amazon.com.
An emulsifier is a agent that can bond two different substances that normally wouldn't bond like oil and water. In this case it bonds cheese and water. People often think it help things melt. That isn't really accurate. In this case it turn cheese and water (or beer or cider or white wine) into a cheese sauce by bonding cheese and water molecules together. Eggs are another emulsifier.

Also if you can find the episode of Good Eats (Episode: EA1D10) Mayo Clinic, Alton Brown explains it really well.
Just through Amazon, specifically here. At 11g/batch, 400g will last me a while! Watch out for the 2oz packages, they're $5/oz rather than the linked product that's $1/oz!

Just buy some decent quality popcorn (use 1/4-1/2 cup): http://www.amazon.com/Snappy-White-Popcorn-4-Pounds/dp/B00382UXU4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394636740&sr=8-1&keywords=popcorn

And some flavacol salt that's used by some movie theaters (use 1/2-1 teaspoon): http://www.amazon.com/Gold-Medal-Prod-Flavacol-Seasoning/dp/B004W8LT10/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1394636795&sr=8-6&keywords=coconut+oil+popcorn
And that's it! Get a big pot and put it on the stove... put the coconut oil in and let it melt. Add the flavacol salt and stir a little. Put one kernel in and wait until it pops... once it does just put all the corn in and turn it off when it stops popping every 3 seconds or so. Best popcorn around.

Sure thing.
I had to plug the text into google translate (haha), and i can see that jar is coconut puree. It will still contain oil that will usually float to the top. However that white paste is going to be the pureed flesh of the coconut.
You want pure unrefined coconut oil like this.
Hope that helps!!

UK, sorry :P
Apparently costco has a giant 54oz one from carrington farms that's supposedly cheap. Only get the organic, virgin/extra virgin stuff. Some of the non/organic stuff I've seen online gets review for strange smells+additives...wouldn't trust that stuff near my buddy.
Someone on r/sex recommended this guy too http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DS842HS/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1944687642&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001EO5Q64&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1EQQ1T6BQ5NR00SZ0SS7
I'd definitely do a coconut oil search on /r/sex to see a few different reviews though.
This might seem a little weird but screw it, I need coconut oil.
As most people in this sub already know, I cut all my hair off last month when my Dad died. I'm happy I could fulfill one of his last wishes but I went from waist length to above shoulders hair and I pine for it daily like you'd pine for a lost love.
Coconut oil is an insanely awesome deep conditioner and I'm trying anything to keep my hair healthy and growing as fast as possible.
Sure thing. I scoured the web and /r/MFA looking at guides until I settled on this method:
Note: I linked to the products I personally used. Allen Edmonds also sells saddle soap in a much more reasonable 3 oz size. If you used too much coconut oil, you may see a white film develop. Just rub it off with your cloth. This guide was also helpful.
Recipe (sorry for posting late, got caught up with.. stuff)
As a note, this bread turned out to be relatively sweet and dense, in comparison to what I'm used to. It doesn't taste like regular bread.

Get this stuff. It is dirt cheap and will last you forever. And it is quality
Also you can make a culture any time its super simple. I have done it before. I am actually starting one up right now. I go through sourdough phases so I don't feel the need to keep it always.
The fridge temperature is below 40, about 37 on the shelf where I keep the dough.
I double the recipe to make 3 balls, but for the yeast I'm actually using less than the recipe says. So instead of 2*0,91tsp I use just 1 tsp. I can try putting even less yeast? This is the yeast I'm using Saf Instant Yeast, 1 Pound Pouch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0001CXUHW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

That's what I'm calling "active yeast". I was under the impression that instant yeast (like the one I'll link below" shouldn't be used with pizza.

What's your macros? You'll feel better by eating against your macros rather than just calories. Macros are simply a math formula (protein + carbs + fats = calories). Most people under-eat for their protein requirements & over-eat per their carb requirements, which makes a weight-loss program difficult because you won't have as much energy or feel as full as you would if you were to eating according to your individual macro numbers instead.
Have you tried Soylent (it's a meal replacement, not just a protein shake) yet? The blend-it-yourself chocolate powder is $1.83 per serving (400 calories with 20 grams of protein).
Do you like to cook, or are you willing to meal-prep? Making your own pasta is pretty fun (and easy!). You can create a huge variety of noodles with that base recipe, including stuffed raviolis. Homemade bread is also awesome. I primarily do no-knead bread (loaves, rolls, etc.) & bread-machine bread. Costco sells 25-pound sacks of flour for like $13. Depending on supply costs in your area, a typical loaf runs maybe 50 cents or so. I buy my yeast in bulk (I keep it in the freezer, to extend the shelf-life) & also make sourdough starter.
you might try a local bakery if you're looking for fresh yeast; I and many others use instant yeast, which lasts a very long time in the
fridgefreezer and works great; a pound (which is a lot) can be had on Amazon for about $8 (https://smile.amazon.com/Saf-Instant-Yeast-Pound-Pouch/dp/B0001CXUHW?sa-no-redirect=1)Yep. I didn't have a starter to work with unfortunately. Used this stuff http://www.amazon.com/Saf-Instant-Yeast-Pound-Pouch/dp/B0001CXUHW
SAF Instant Yeast. I got it off amazon. Now that I’m using it I’m never going back to other yeast.

This brand of yeast stores for well over a year in the freezer. It;s available at most major grocery chains as well.
https://www.amazon.com/Saf-Instant-Yeast-Pound-Pouch/dp/B0001CXUHW
I highly recommend using instant yeast. You don't have to proof it first; just add it in with the dry ingredients. It will keep forever in the freezer; store it in a jar, and just scoop it straight from there.
Do you use Saf Yeast or do you have your own culture?
https://www.reddit.com/r/kratom/comments/66rttj/japanese_oblate_discs_edible_film_for_parachuting/
Lots more links there. Read the comments, helpful info. You need to swallow quickly because they dissolve.
Also, https://www.amazon.com/Oblate-Discs-Japanese-Edible-200pcs/dp/B000FQOFLE
OK, I found it. I was wrong: it's not a powder, it's a really thin film you can wrap powder in and down it without tasting the bitterness. It's called "oblate disks." Here's the link to Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Oblate-Discs-Japanese-Edible-200pcs/dp/B000FQOFLE. But since this is a crushed leaf sub, I can see that it's really not well suited to this particular sub.
They sell real paper you can consume like that on amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Oblate-Discs-Japanese-Edible-200pcs/dp/B000FQOFLE
I "parachute" the kratom using those oblate discs that you can find on Amazon. Super easy, and absolutely no taste to deal with.

>Plus the time it takes to cap that up (no cap machine) is a hell in itself. Like four hours at least to do 100g
Check out these. You can fit up to 3 grams in them, and they are super easy to swallow. You just put your kratom in the middle, fold it like a burrito, and then lightly dampen your finger and touch it on the folds to seal it. Then you swallow it with a drink. I guess it's an easier and safer way to parachute, but I don't how similar it is because I've never actually parachuted anything. They are cheap and you get 200 in a $6 pack. And they will save you a lot of time.
>Usually I buy 100g bags and enjoy it for a week and a half, then deal with minor withdrawal for a day or two.
Would it be possible to lower your dose? I know it would take a few days but after about a week of using a lower dose I start to get good effects from that dose. If you could lower your dose by just a few grams it each it would help.
Also, I know you said your low on funds but if you can afford it then get some agmatine. You can get 100g for like $12 of Amazon. If you take between 1-2g a day it can help you cut your dose in half. It makes you doses last longer, too.
I'm sorry you're going through this.
oblate discs are cool
Oblate Discs
Kratom tastes like dirt if dirt tasted worse than dirt. They have oblate disks that make it easy to take you just wrap it in the clear disks like a burrito and swallow with some water and no nasty green mud taste.

Don't get into the habit of ingesting toilet paper. People who suffer from pica (compulsion to eat toilet paper and other not-food things) get intestinal obstructions that sometimes require surgery.
If you're set on parachuting look into "Oblate Discs"
How about something like this? They're little edible film things that I've heard people use. Ordered some for myself as an alternative to parachuting like I usually do for supplements/nootropics.
edit: Exactly like this.
Oblate Discs on Amazon
Nice, will try it out. On some of the reviews on Amazon people stated they use it for kratom. haha I wasn't expecting to see that.

I ended up on oblate disks and they are amazing. I tried every thing I could find and it was miserable. Ended up using 1 ply toilet paper and parachuting it (old drug habits came in handy, for once) and then I found these on Amazon and I'll never toss and wash again. I have no idea how people do that multiple times a day, for years. Shit blows my mind.

Exceedingly good calorie density: peanut butter, almond butter, shots of olive oil, whey protein shakes with a cup or two of milk, heavy whipping cream, delicious coated almonds .
here and here are also acceptable choices.
They sell them on Amazon for cheap. Well, at least cheaper than my grocery store. http://www.amazon.com/Emerald-Cocoa-Almonds-Chocolate-Canister/dp/B001EQ55RW/
Not worth it if you can't stop, or if they stall you. But otherwise... mmmmmm!
These are my favorites for such an indulgence. 6g of carbs, 3g of that is fiber.
I would like to chime in that the Emerald Dark Chocolate almonds are also GREAT and only have 1g sugar instead of 4g sugar in Blue Diamond's.
Emerald's do cost about 2x's as much as these ($.50/oz instead of $.25/oz). Amazon Emerald Dark Chocolate Roasted Almonds
Careful when you're eating that flavor, they have a few more carbs per serving. For chocolate almonds I like these, they're pretty tasty!
I eat these and they fucking rock, plus they are a good source of fat

awesome! check out /r/paleo and /r/keto for some advice about how to keep yourself full between meals and how to replace snacks with healthier ones. for instance, i'm a chocolate FIEND but i've found that cocoa covered almonds like these are a healthy alternative.
your diet will have more of an impact with your waistline than exercising. i use exercise to keep myself motivated to diet. i think to myself, why the hell would i want to waste all that time i just spent working out with by eating that candy bar? then i grab an apple.
I just picked up the dark chocolate cocoa flavour in eastern Canada yesterday but did not see this flavour. They are absolutely delicious!!

Found them on amazon!
I got them from a local store earlier today and they have been among the most delicious things I've eaten recently. These will satisfy my occasional chocolate cravings
Check these out. Not from Amazon, though -- your grocery store probably has 'em.
Edit: Fuck. I take it back. They contain a small amount of sucralose.
you know you can buy just the marshmallows, right?
You can buy the marshmallows all by their lonesome.
They do also sell those.
Liar
Do you separate them into two bowls before you pour in the milk? Because really that's the only way to do it.
That or just guy the marshmallows.

Hmm, I haven't ventured too deeply into the depths of Amazon (just like I haven't ventured too deep into the subreddits of reddit because I'm scared of what I might find, like r/spacedicks). I guess most awesome I've found is 8 lb bag of Lucky Charm marshmallows! It's really my dream come true :D

I have a friend who gets bags of them from some Amish farm in Central Ohio. I somehow doubt they have a web presence, though.
Of course, it looks like Amazon can hook you up.
Edit: Also, eating a (small) bowl of them in milk is friggin' awesome. Be prepared for a stomach ache.

Looks good! For next time, if you'd like to try a 'modern technique' for this type of thing, pick up some Sodium Citrate. Here's a video from Chow which shows what I'm talking about. I've done this a few times... My only complaint is that once it cools down it (obviously?) doesn't remain gooey and runny.
Additionally, /u/J_Kenji_Lopez-Alt put together a Burger Lab recipe for a similar cheese sauce that uses more traditional ingredients. (I haven't tried this one)
The folks at Modernist Cuisine discovered the sweetest of tricks, which is that the addition of sodium citrate to melted cheese stabilizes it and keeps it from re-hardening. This means that you can make a sauce or dip that has the consistency of alfredo or nacho cheese or Velveeta or cheese whiz, from any cheese including delicious high quality ones, and get a stable, creamy result that still maintains all the delicate nuance and strength of flavor of the good cheese you used to make it. You can also use a variant of this recipe to make American cheese style slices that melt easily but taste like, well, real, good cheese.
on Amazon:
sodium citrate, enough for a long time, $15 and free shipping
a digital scale that measures in hundredths of grams, $36.60, free shipping
immersion blender, $15.83 and free shipping.
This puts you at roughly $66. If you decide you want to throw a few more bucks into it, or he already has an immersion blender or something, get him some nice cheese to melt.
... If you wanted some non-food-related ideas, I love this product and have just been waiting for the right occasion to give this to someone.

Instead of large amounts of velveeta, I'll add to try using white american cheese in combination with some cream cheese and a good cheese. If using a lot of good cheese (like half or so, use sodium citrate to ensure you won't get an oily mess www.amazon.com/WillPowder-Sodium-Citrate-16-Ounce-Jar/dp/B00250Y9Y6
I found this one in Amazon: Bragg Nutritional Yeast Seasoning, Premium, 4.5 Ounce.
Link to nutritional label
I was just looking for a similar recipe this morning. I guess if the Nutritional Yeast Seasoning is not OK, I could just use olive oil, salt and perhaps white vinegar.
It's only a week. You will be fine. :)
The only thing I can think of with a cheesy flavor is nutritional yeast. It's more like Parmesan though so not sure how it would be with eggs. Bragg Nutritional Yeast Seasoning, Premium, 4.5 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002863BIW
If you're just looking for the flavor, wouldn't nutritional yeast do the job?
You could also add some Nutritional Yeast! It will make it taste like white cheddar popcorn.
Ohhhhmygossshhh!!! Yours looks so yummy!! Braggs' makes this https://www.amazon.com/Bragg-Nutritional-Yeast-Seasoning-Premium/dp/B002863BIW?th=1 and I have some in the fridge!! I wonder how it would taste on salmon. MMMmm, I may have to have a keto tasting of fish and chicken using nutritional yeast.
I've also heard of people using liquid sucralose in their mixes. Food for thought.
'Twas a joke.
But just fyi, mixers usually use the following to sweeten juices:
I'm sure there are others, but those are the only ones I know of, as my juice mixing knowledge isn't very extensive.
And I'm sure all of these 'caramelize' to varying degrees.
Give EZ Sweetz a try.
He/she is saying that because you're stick is quite dark, which just means your urine is pretty concentrated for ketones. That doesn't necessarily mean you're mastering ketosis...the likely explanation is you're not drinking enough water. Keto sticks are okay, but unnecessary when you eat the right food and know exactly everything that goes into your body.
Spoonful of regular sugar and sweeten to taste with EZ-Sweetz Liquid Stevia. Free Super Saver shipping.
CHOCOLATE MOUSSE RECIPE
Sugar is the only thing about this recipe that is not keto-friendly. Use a sweetener such as EZ-Sweetz and you're all set.
I highly suggest cutting this recipe in half. (We had to throw some out because we couldn't eat it all.) :(
Did you remember to subtract fiber? We try to shoot for 20 net carbs, which is carbs minus fiber.
GOOD LUCK!! Looks like you're off to a great start!
Well you could buy an ice cream maker and make your own.....it's really just heavy cream and sugar, so you can easily sub out the sugar for 0 carb liquid sucralose.

First off, check out /r/coffee if you really like coffee. Just be ready for a blue pill/red pill moment Neo, since /r/coffee is a trip down an awesome rabbit hole...
Anyway, I like to go for some fresh roasted (by me) and fresh ground (seconds before adding the hot water) coffee in a Chemex. I then add heavy cream and EZ-Sweets.

Lavazza Perfetto Espresso Roast, I found them at my local Safeway. Either straight up or with 1/2 Tbs of heavy cream and a couple drops of EZ Sweetz liquid sweetener.
Congratulations on your dedication! It sounds like you're setting a reasonable goal for yourself, and seeking the advice of a physician certainly doesn't hurt things.
That said, there are few things in your list that are a bit inaccurate and may cause you to be less successful. I'm not sure if these are things that have come from your doctor or other expert, but you should be a bit careful with them:
To be clear, the 90 calorie apple will certainly fill you more and satisfy you for longer than the cookie, but there are no "good" or "bad" calories. The only thing that matters (at least in terms of calories) is staying below your calorie goal. Not that that's a thing to obsess over. If you're using a logging app like LoseIt or MFP, log your apple, and get on with your day. Odds are you can fit an apple into most any calorie plan. Just don't deny yourself on the theory that snacking on one food is better than another. Your body can't tell a cookie calorie from an apple calorie. If you're over TDEE for the day, the apple's going to end up on your bum (or wherever you happen to "wear" such things =) just as much as the cookie.
The common problem with coffee of course is the company it keeps. Milk & cream are loaded with calories, and sugar's not your friend either. If you don't take your coffee black, then this is a consideration. I like to use almond milk which has a fraction of the calories of dairy milk or cream, and I only use artificial sweeteners.
The biggest problem with what you said here though is your substitute. It would be completely fair to label agave as "cactus sugar." It's true that for equal quantities of sugar and agave, the agave provides more sweetening, but it's still just sugar. You're still drinking calories... Assuming you don't have any health sensitivities to them, consider strongly switching to artificial sweeteners for your drinks. Even there, you have to be cautious as standard Splenda is actually sucralose plus maltodextrin and still has calories & carbs in it. My personal preference is this stuff (http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O) which is just the sucralose, no maltodextrin. Easy to keep a bottle of it in your bag, and sweeten your drinks wherever you are.
As far as the study vs. exercise time balance goes, be super careful of letting studies be "more important" than your health. College is expensive, and you screw it up, it's you're life, etc., no doubt. But your body is priceless, and you don't get a mulligan on that if you screw it up either. As far as finding that balance, I've found over & over when my life is hectic, the best use of my time is to EXERCISE first, fit the other stuff in after. Here's why:
Exercise is an unequivocally positive "you time," doing something for yourself affirmation. Try to turn it into a little indulgence. A treat. You've got lots of other stuff to do, but dammit, THIS IS FOR ME!!! You're going to need something like that in your life, or you go nuts. The alternative (at least for me) is that it's WAAAY to easy to turn my "little treat" into a food indulgence. A candy bar, because "I deserve this." Danger..... "Be selfish" in a way that's completely and totally good for you, not just "mental health" good...
Also, as far as time management goes, I find when I exercise on schedule I sleep better, concentrate better, need less sleep to be energized, and actually have MORE time to do other stuff that needs doing. I'm pretty sure 30 minutes exercising 3-4 times a week pays off in more than 2 hours of extra, actually productive time throughout the rest of the week. Obviously there's always a balance to be struck, but try erring on the side of getting your workouts in, and you might be surprised how the rest of the stuff starts falling into place.
And bonus pro tip: See if you can get friends interested in going to workout (or find new workout inclined friends), and your workouts turn into extra social time. You get the people connection that's important, AND you get a peer reinforcement setup where if one of you feels like skipping a day, the other(s) drag you along for your own good.
As far as weighing goes, look into an app that tracks a moving daily weighted average of your weight rather than your current actual weight. There's an older app for iPhone called FatWatch that does this. I'm not sure about others that do. The idea behind that is it smooths out the daily ups & downs (which are perfectly normal and don't actually mean you're "gaining weight") and instead shows you your over all trend and where you are on the line to your goal. Example: This morning I'm 3 pounds heavier than yesterday (weekend, family, blerghsszdfasf.a....) but given that I had a really good week over all last week, I'm actually still trending .2 pounds closer to my goal than yesterday. Granted, 3.2 pounds closer would have been nicer, but.....
Anywho, best of luck with your effort!
Nope. If you buy powdered splenda, it's mixed with dextrose or maltodextrin (I forget which) to make it a powder.
The liquid variants don't use any additional ingredients.
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O
This is what I use.
(I'm a bit less sensitive to sucralose (taste-wise) than most, so I use 4-6 drops per coffee, but most people tell me 1-3 is plenty for them.)
4.2 carbs in a teaspoon of sugar. Not really worth it to be honest.
Try EZ Sweets. I swear by it. A few drops is all you need. Not overly sweet and it doesn't hinder my progress.
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O
try this... it's the closest I've found to real sugar.
Does this look like a good alternative/complement?
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1453736184&sr=8-3&keywords=liquid+sucralose
This stuff is much better than splenda. It's the same sweetener, but without the dextrose and maltodextrin filler that splenda has. No calories at all.
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1343145104&sr=8-1&keywords=sweetz
I bought this at the start, still using it..literally 1-2 drops in about 20oz is the same as several spoons of sugar. Works for coffee, cooking, tea etc.
http://waldenfarms.com/
This is another favorite site, I originally bought one of everything but since have only gone back for certain things (ketchup, bbq sauce etc) to each his/her own.
I use EZ-Sweetz
https://www.amazon.com/EZ-Sweetz-2oz-Liquid-Sweetener-Servings/dp/B002MO765O
Hard to say without more detail, but my idea of "90% keto" is one that's not compatible with keto. Be it nuts, saucisson, cheese, or whatever... carry food with you always. Being really hungry in an environment where you can't really get keto sustenance is a killer, at least for me.
Preparation is the key to success. At least for me. Don't find yourself in situations where you have to eat, but have no keto option.
Ignore people telling you to cut "artificial sweeteners". Unless you're eating good amounts of sugar alcohols (never seen em in diet soda), they will have no effect on keto. Sucralose solutions, EZ-Sweetz for example, are really good at making keto recipes sweet. I tried Stevia and disliked it. Try a few and see what you like.
I use this, 1-2 drops in my coffee and it's like using 2 TSP of sugar
Chiming in a few days too late, but for anyone coming back to read this at a later date: EZ Sweetz has been an absolute lifesaver for me on keto. It was designed as a sweetener for diabetics (so it doesn't spike your blood sugar), is affordable, and completely without aftertaste. Maybe I've been using it for so long my taste buds have just adapted, but I really think it tastes identical to sugar. The only downside is that, because it's a liquid, you can't use it in baking or traditional recipes that call for granulated or powdered sweeteners.
I hope anyone out there craving sweet stuff will give it a try. Buy it here!
I've seen the sucralose drops occasionally in my local Safeway under the Safeway Kitchens brand, so might look there to see.
I order the EZSweetz off amazon https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002MO765O/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Ez sweet hands down.
A lot of people use stevia too but i cant deal with its aftertaste, i also used sacharinn for the longest time (even before keto) and never had a problem with it with its taste aftertaste or anything.
Just a couple other options:
I dont recommending t&w with kava... but you can use oblate discs, which keeps you from getting the powder everywhere.

CAPTAIN AMAZON TO THE RESCUE
So just some of this, and then I add my own water, or do they make it with water?
> VG was virtually impossible to find. Sounds like the availability of it is still likely to be an issue.
Big ol' jug of VG
Helpful Kitchen Tools:
Baking sheet
Parchment paper or aluminum foil
Ingredients:
2 cups Carbquick
2 oz butter (diced)
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ to ½ tsp salt
¼ cup heavy cream
¼ cup water (add more if necessary)
1 small jalapeno (diced with seeds removed)
6 strips of cooked bacon (coarsely chopped)
It's not going to be the actual recipe, but I'd try to use the modernist mac and cheese recipe as a starting place, because it's so simple and easy.
Basically, sodium citrate is an amazing emulsifier of cheese. Commercial American cheeses typically use sodium phosphate, which is essentially equivalent. You can basically just combine water/milk/beer, sodium citrate, and cheese, and end up with high quality homemade velveeta in 5-10 minutes. You can easily scale up the recipe; it's 100 parts cheese, 93 parts liquid, and 4 parts sodium citrate.
12 oz Allagash White
13 oz Cheddar
.5 oz Sodium Citrate
allspice + cayenne to taste
Shred cheddar.
Put beer in saucepan on medium heat.
Add sodium citrate.
Add cheese, stirring until it dissolves into the sauce.
Season with salt, allspice and cayenne to taste.
Seems to be about right
Add some Palm glycerin to it until you get the mixture that works for you. I just vape 99% glycerin
This is what I use.
It seems that the mixture you are using is irritating your throat. I don't know about it causing the acid reflux, but irritation can feel similar.
Sodium Citrate is your friend.
no, I mean Peanut butter is NOT plant based, hence the word (butter) it's processed, but you can buy PB2 or peanut flour which has 95% of the fat taken out, it's much better for ya.https://www.amazon.ca/Protein-Plus-Roasted-Natural-Peanut/dp/B0052OOYOW?pf_rd_p=ade63561-ce66-434d-8f8d-09bbdf7a0c11&pd_rd_wg=P16S2&pf_rd_r=EATJHWYCE7XX54V10P9R&ref_=pd_gw_cr_wsim&pd_rd_w=ktw0O&pd_rd_r=f1609769-bdb0-4cfa-acf2-9471e5d87953
