A stretch band, sliders, mini bands, a pilates ball, and an agility ladder. I also have cute workout clothes, a bluetooth speaker, a mat, pilates socks, handstand canes, yoga blocks, handstand blocks, a yoga wheel, a pullup bar, a headstand bench, a kettlebell (r/kettlebell for recommendations), 5 and 10lbs dumbbells, long/stretchy bands like therabands, a bosu ball, a jump rope, boxing gloves, focus mitts, a stopwatch, a swiss ball, and a pullup band.
Also not included are the kegel balls I bought on Amazon but I didn't know if you were counting pelvic floor workout equipment lol. Wow I think my house is actually a gym lmao. I'm actually a personal trainer lol.
The main things you do in the academy are push ups, sit ups, leg lifts, air squats, pull ups, sprints, and long distance running. For running start with the app couch to 5k. Then find an app that bridges from 5k to 10k. Don't run on a treadmill, get outside and run.
For push ups and pull ups do the Armstrong Pull Up Program. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnN8ksvVRIQ
Pretty much 3 sets of max effort push ups right when you wake up, then 3 hours later the pull up program of the day, Monday to Friday. For sit ups buy one of these and do sit ups.
Always get a good warm up before you do any type of physical activity, I usually do foam rolling with 10-20 burpees. Obviously scale accordingly.
I'd say start with this before you start looking into strength training, then incorporate squats, deadlifts, bench press, rows, and overhead press.
That is a horse riding simulator that supposedly exercises your core and abs. But I can imagine the ladies use it for more pleasurable purposes.

The fuck is this? the F1 ab wheel or something?
Hello there !
I just came to say that I no longer use 2 items I've got : an Iron Cross trainer and a pair of Parallettes.
If anyone is interested please contact me !
Both are not new, but are as new (I am really careful with my stuff).
I'm not the seller on those sites but here are what I've got :
Iron Cross Trainer :
https://www.amazon.com/Iron-Cross-Gymnastics-Strength-Trainer/dp/B0079K7DGI
Parallettes :

Edit : I asked a mod before posting this, I hope no one will see this as some kind of rule-violation.
Ab roller wheel
http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-EU6441A-Core-Muscle-Trainer/dp/B001ATF2LC/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
I use this one and it works perfectly.
I don't know any videos off the top of my head but the important thing about the ab wheel is keeping your lower back from caving inwards while rolling out. If you can't keep your lower back straight or slightly convex, you've finished the set. Beyond that the form isn't too hard and any video should show you the basics.
Ab roller. They're like a tenner on eBay/amazon. This one is 5.99 and is the top seller and pretty good reviews. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0057EQLMA/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_62E.ub18VPXDE

Hopefully it's allowed in here:

Very basic workout tool. Old school, but it's still around because nothing will work your abs like this will. Yes, get one. They're cheap.
Yeah I figured I would have to lose more than I ideally wanted to, to have any sort of impact on the area. Thanks for the advice
EDIT: this is the exact belt I wear
You can do without the pull-up bar but the slides and loops are not really an option. You can find both for pretty cheap on Amazon.
Here are are couple of MANY options:
Core Sliders by Day 1 Fitness, Set of 2 Black/Grey, Dual Sided for Carpet and Hard Floors - Premium, Multipurpose Gliding Discs to Strengthen Abs, Lower Back - Portable Abdominal Equipment https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PH47BS9/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_zSe2Db2KKHFP9

Looks like an iGallop
Finally got a hyper extention bench. Going to put this baby together tonight or tomorrow morning and see how she does! Hoping to be able to do GHR's on it but I am sorta worried that pad might not be supportive enough fro that exercise. Already have an idea to build a padded "platform" that can be put in there in front of the pad for my knees and taken out when I don't need it just in case. /r/homegym
I was able to find a local guy selling his equipment as he was moving locations (squat rack, platforms, barbells, training blocks, benches). Another guy was selling LB plates to convert his gym to KGs. Another guy was selling a GHD and Reverse Hyper.
The best things I've bought off of Amazon:
I also bought my dumbbells from Walmart. It looks like they have a combo dumbbell & bench deal going on- it looks like a good option!! https://www.walmart.com/ip/CAP-Strength-FID-Bench-with-150-lb-Dumbbell-Set/55121654
Ab Lounge Sport https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000A4XRAG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5ff3Db8TYY9CA
My gym has this one, and it takes some serious abuse.
dumbbells and something like this https://www.amazon.com/Elite-Exercise-Smoothly-Surface-Exercises/dp/B00OYRW4UE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1492545651&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=sliders+exercise&psc=1 Do reverse sliding lunges.
I have this one. It works fine.
This is the one I got http://www.amazon.com/Ab-Wheel-Roller-Awesome-Guarantee/dp/B00JZKH7K2/
Yes, I bought one of these that simulates the ab rollouts we do and it's amazing: Elite Sportz Ab Wheel Roller Pro with Dual Wheels for Extra Stability. Comes Fully Assembled, is Sturdy, Smooth Rolling, has Very Comfortable, Non- Sl https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JZKH7K2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_Ouwt9EoVtgHj6
Also plank taps and mountain climbers have been really great for me.
Get one of those ab-wheel thingies:
https://www.amazon.com/Sunny-Health-Fitness-Training-Exercise/dp/B0016BJ5N0/
I went from struggling to get 50 situps to being able to do 80, just using this thing twice a week for four months. In my experience one rep with the ab wheel = two reps of GI situps. Start with 12-15 reps with the ab wheel and work your way up to 30 or 40, then you won't stress that portion of the test.
I present the original Dachshund in a coat sleeve
how animals eat their food
and death metal chicken
I also have this which is a little more than
but if not, surprise me!
Oh, by the way, Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!
Brookstone used to have a "horse riding simulation" product called the iGallop. Needless to say, I could never ride one of those things in the store without people giggling/gusta-ing at me
I got this one and it has auto return: http://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Fitness-Ab-Carver-Pro/dp/B00B1N0R6C sure its expensive but I wanted a wide one for more stability.
I have one I got for like $15 on amazon, I honestly can't imagine how it could be legitimately better.

I used one of these on Saturday, and it kept my tailbone from hitting the floor. I'm going to order my own for my next round!

as others have said, barbell with weights is a great solution if you have the space. This is great too because it's adjustable (i.e. add weight to add difficulty). There is also nothing wrong with getting the cheap ab wheel from amazon people have listed. I have one of those, but I also sprung for an expensive ab well ($35...https://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Fitness-Carver-Roller-Workouts/dp/B00B1N0R6C) and while not necessary, I really like it. There is some sort of pulley on the inside that makes your rollout a little smoother, and in my opinion easier than on a normal ab wheel. Definitely worth looking into if you think you are starting with a relatively work core. What I did was start at 3 sets of 7 with the Carver roller, 3X a week, and added one rep to each set each week. When I got up to 20 reps per set I switched to the cheap ab roller and found I couldn't do as many, so I started back down at 15 and worked my way up. It's basically inspired by this workout progression https://www.t-nation.com/training/tip-master-the-standing-rollout. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Happy Cake Day!!
No specific advice since the video quality is really low for some reason. However, I have never heard someone train cross the way you do. Most common is to use spotter, dream machine, or iron cross trainer https://www.amazon.com/Iron-Cross-Gymnastics-Strength-Trainer/dp/B0079K7DGI all on rings because as you say... rings.
Alternatively just go as low as you can and hold on rings. You can measure progress somewhat by putting playing cards or books at your toes. As you get stronger lower the books.
When you wear a waist trimmer what exactly are you compressing? Is it your stomach? Your lungs? ARe there any negative side effects of doing this?
this....It may seem silly but it does work
