The Protomen are a rock band from Nashville that started in 2004. They've created a whole rock opera out of (a heavily augmented version of) the story of the Megaman video-game series, filling out two excellent concept albums: The Protomen, and The Protomen: Act II. The story is like a mix of Ayn Rand and Orwell, the music like Bruce Springsteen and Meat Loaf and Ennio Morricone and Radiohead all jizzed in a circle and it turned into a little baby music.
They also have a song about beards.
I couldn't find any DL links. Only place to get it is on amazon.
The whole album is absolutely amazing. Definitely up there as one of my all time favorite emo albums.
