I made something like this last fall. Not as big and detailed, but similar.
It’s fun! It’s fun as heck, and I had so much fun watching it come together. I even got the tiny chandelier working and everything!
But when I was done I had no idea what to do with it. I ended up giving it to a friend, and she uses it as a nightlight.
I wouldn’t mind doing another, but I should line up a recipient for it first.

Just search "dollhouse kit" on Amazon and you'll find tons. They're not that expensive either, considering you get everything needed. You'll need glue and tweezers and lots of patience though

I had the best day yesterday! I stayed home because I was sick on Sunday night and didn't want to risk getting sick at work. Well, I felt fantastic all day and I felt like it was just what I needed. I feel recharged and ready to go after it! I commented to H that I don't know why I take a day like that more often. I should put "sick day" on my calendar every quarter. I spent a few hours working on a craft project (Mini House Scene, Miller's Garden) and listened to an audiobook course by Matt Kahn. I also did some kettlebell training.
At the moment, the weather is gorgeous and I can't wait for the long weekend ahead. Wishing all the xxketo ladies a fantastic day!

Try building miniatures. I get kits on amazon. It’s kind of like creating a tiny world where you have all the control. You can smash it when you’re done! Or give it to a child (I’ve done both, though giving them away is much more satisfying...but smash one....also deliciously satisfying.
Its my escape. I also recently started these metal earth models, precut pieces (from 40-hundreds of pieces) and it’s been addictive as hell.
This is the first one I made greenhouse I’ve done north of 20 kits, each more customized than the last. I add my own accents, paint different finishes (learned how to make a crackle finish and wood grain texture). Fun and no need to leave the house. Sometimes you just want to be alone, ya know?

Thanks! I bought it on Amazon. it’s really overwhelming at first but once you get going it gets easier. The instructions are great, I checked out a video on YouTube of someone assembling it so that helped a lot.

I think it most likely they got the same KidKraft Sparkle Mansion because it is the "most relevant" sorted dollhouse that is also Amazon Prime fulfilled. There is one higher relevancy dollhouse but it is not Prime. Also interesting to note is that it chose the highest relevancy not the best seller KidKraft Majestic Mansion.

We only get DD things from Santa that can be made in a workshop by elves. So, elves don’t make x-boxes. I don’t know how high-tech the bike is, but with the spider man stuff that’s where the line is. Santa doesn’t ballyhoo. So DD got a Radio Flyer trike from Cost Co last year from Santa. Bottom line is Santa makes things that are wood or metal, not electronic, and timeless. He doesn’t work with comics or toy companies or cartoons, at least not here in our home.
