MS Math

- individual whiteboards - get them cheap by going to your local home depot or lowes for a large sheet of shower board, they will cut it for you. I have a set of 30 and it cost me less than $15, have lasted 3 years so far and still in decent shape

- plenty of expo markers

- dry erase coordinate plane poster (like this one: https://www.amazon.com/EAI-Education-Jumbo-Magnetic-Coordinate/dp/B01M3MMO6E/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_328_img_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=188T1RBQ4MFP9GSHE087 ) I use this almost every day. Best purchase ever.

- laminator & plenty of sheets

- dice

- fillable geometric solids

- plenty of index cards

-small parts drawer organizer for all of your little needs - paper clips, binder clips, white out, bandaids, the list goes on

I also always keep an eye out at goodwill for calculators, can usually find scientific calculators for under a dollar, maybe if I keep looking I'll actually have a class set one of these days :)

Try checking if she might have a wishlist on amazon. I am a high school teacher and we get left out a lot but I made one as I run across things that would be cool but didn’t tell anyone because I don’t think anyone would care.
Also, one of my favorite things I bought were white board paddles. I use them for games and quick checks of understanding. This is the set I have: https://www.amazon.com/Quick-Response-Whiteboards-Mini-Erasers/dp/B009R1GDHC/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=white+board+paddles&qid=1559148687&s=gateway&sprefix=white+board+pad&sr=8-4

I bought 4 color changing bulbs and change the lighting to fit the scene (purples and greens for a fungus cave, greens and blues for forests, etc.) These can also be used outside of gaming!

I also have lap white boards to track all kinds of things during the game. I give one to a player to track initiative and use one for tracking monster HP. Other players use them to track various things as well and they can be used as modular maps in a pinch.

Similarly I got these blank ID cards because they're actually dry erase! They aren't super useful compared to the mini white boards, I end up using them for MTG instead.

A 1-inch hole punch can be used to create super cheap tokens (print monster faces on card stock.)

Basically it's this video without the fancy canvas things I can't get where I'm at.

I instead took cheap kids whiteboard marker tablets that are around at a local art/office/teacher supply store for like $3 a piece. At the same store, I found of black backed page protectors that would work perfectly to cover all the whiteboard and "blackout" the screen without any work, I also got matching black duct tape.

I'll post the final product once I get it printed after any adjustments based on the comments I get.

In my wish list, two of the big things I want are a big (256 piece) box of crayons/markers and a nice set of individual white boards.

My daughter has also really liked these letter/number tracing sheets:

We use them under a clear dry erase surface that lets you slip various sheets under it. Something like this:

I mean something like this. It's small. Accidentally wiping it off is not a major peril.

I don't use a planner, but a dry erase board was a great tool for me to draw out a month calendar and see everything graphically. It's also good for random lists around the house you want to write down before you forget. There are some cheap ones or you can buy a big one with a calendar built in

  1. Get a dry erase board for your fridge! It's great for notes for reminders, shopping lists, telling your roommate to do her dishes, etc.

  2. The Art of Manliness is a funny site that has a lot of great life tips and skills. Think Ron Swanson type advice. It's geared towards men obviously, but ladies should have these skills too!

  3. Keeping a notepad and dry erase board (see above) in the kitchen has helped cut down on the clutter. My kitchen is kind of the dumping ground of random stuff and to-do-lists, so having a dedicated "notes" area helps consolidate the random bits of paper.

  4. Improving my posture and effort in clothes has helped me a lot with confidence. Just looking alert and put together makes me feel so much better, and I make sure to always throw on a pair of jeans or similar before going out. Wearing athletic clothes/leggings/sweats out always made me feel sloppy, but just wearing actual clothes instantly improves my attitude. And people respond better, which is an added boost. Loose skirts are super easy ways to dress up an outfit.

  5. Check out r/awww. It's my favorite source for smiles :)
