Reminds me of one of the funniest things I've ever read. The amazon reviews for 'Veet for Men Hair Removal Gel Creme 200mL'.

"DO NOT PUT ON KNOB AND BOLLOCKS
Being a loose cannon who does not play by the rules the first thing I did was ignore the warning and smear this all over my knob and bollocks. The bollocks I knew and loved are gone now. In their place is a maroon coloured bag of agony which sends stabs of pain up my body every time it grazes against my thigh or an article of clothing. I am suffering so that you don't..."

Veet for men. Works really well.

Makes sure you test it on less sensitive areas before going near your arse or bell-end.

It takes about 5 minutes for the hair to disolve off and then you just scrape it off and hop in the shower. The feeling is amazing.

I recommend using a small mirror to ensure you don't napalm your arsehole. I got a little bit too close and there was an unpleasant sensation for about 10 seconds.

u/nomnommish · 26 pointsr/Unexpected

I first heard "meat and two veg" in this Amazon review of veet hair removal cream for men

> After having been told my danglies looked like an elderly rastafarian I decided to take the plunge and buy some of this as previous shaving attempts had only been mildly succesful and I nearly put my back out trying to reach the more difficult bits. Being a bit of a romantic I thought I would do the deed on the missus's birthday as a bit of a treat.
>
> I ordered it well in advance and working in the North sea I considerd myself a bit above some of the characters writing the previous reviews and wrote them off as soft office types...oh my fellow sufferers how wrong I was. I waited until the other half was tucked up in bed and after giving some vague hints about a special surprise I went down to the bathroom. Initially all went well and I applied the gel and stood waiting for something to happen.
>
> I didn't have long to wait. At first there was a gentle warmth which in a matter of seconds was replaced by an intense burning and a feeling I can only describe as like being given a barbed wire wedgie by two people intent on hitting the ceiling with my head. Religion hadn't featured much in my life until that night but I suddenly became willing to convert to any religion to stop the violent burning around the turd tunnel and what seemed like the destruction of the meat and two veg. Struggling to not bite through my bottom lip I tried to wash the gel of in the sink and only succeeded in blocking the plughole with a mat of hair.
>
> Through the haze of tears I struggled out of the bathroom across the hall into the kitchen by this time walking was not really possible and I crawled the final yard to the fridge in the hope of some form of cold relief. I yanked the freezer drawer out and found a tub of ice cream, tore the lid of and positioned it under me.
>
> The relief was fantastic but only temporary as it melted fairly quickly and the fiery stabbing soon returned .Due to the shape of the ice cream tub I hadn't managed to give the starfish any treatment and I groped around in the drawer for something else as I was sure my vision was going to fail fairly soon.I grabbed a bag of what I later found out was frozen sprouts and tore it open trying to be quiet as I did so.I took a handful of them and tried in vain to clench some between the cheeks of my arse.
>
> This was not doing the trick as some of the gel had found it's way up the chutney channel and it felt like the space shuttle was running it's engines behind me. This was probably and hopefully the only time in my life I was going to wish there was a gay snowman in the kitchen which should give you some idea of the depths I was willing to sink to in order to ease the pain.
>
> The only solution my pain crazed mind could come up with was to gently ease one of the sprouts where no veg had gone before. unfortunately, alerted by the strange grunts coming from the kitchen the other half chose that moment to come and investigate and was greeted by the sight of me, arse in the air, strawberry ice cream dripping from my bell end pushing a sprout up my arse while muttering..." Ooooh that feels good ".
>
> Understandably this was a shock to her and she let out a scream and as I hadn't heard her come in it caused an involutary spasm of shock in myself which resulted in the sprout being ejected at quite some speed in her direction. I can understand that having a sprout farted against your leg at 11 at night in the kitchen probably wasn't the special surprise she was expecting and having to explain to the kids the next day what the strange hollow in the ice cream was didn't improve my status...So to sum it up Veet removes hair, dignity and self respect...:)

u/onereceivingsight · 8 pointsr/sex
u/tehgreyghost · 7 pointsr/leagueoflegends

You just rinse but don't use it on the ACTUAL bits. Since you are using a chemical to dissolve the hair you do need to be careful.

Since the anus, and especially your actual genital skin, is rather sensitive you want to not hurt your self. Spread the nair in a thin is layer across the hair you wish to remove. Though the backdoor is a bit more resilient and it wont be bad if you get a little on the old rusty sheriffs badge . So it's more the front bits to worry about. As long as you are careful and follow the instructions exactly it's all good! :)

EDIT: Make sure to either buy an applicator or get some nitrile gloves to protect your hands. Also I have heard you can use it on your actual junk if you get the sensitive areas stuff, just don't leave it on for longer than instructed.

Also IF you can trim the hair first it helps as it makes the Nair not have to eat through so much hair.

Sounds like being a woman...

Seriously though, have you tried Veet? It's a hair removal cream - no waxing pain, and lasts longer than shaving. There's even a men's version if you have issues with pink things.

A word of warning though: test it on your skin before using it! If you're going to react, best you find out before covering your whole body. Also, I recommend you learn to exfoliate of you're going to remove hair (by any means), or the regrowth could be hell.

I agree with the commenter below with the witch hazel right after you exfoliate, then follow with your anti bump product. I use and recommend one called Bikini Zone. Pretty inexpensive at the drugstore, and works well. I usually tell my clients to apply 2-3x a day for the first few days post wax depending on how prone they are to ingrowns.

Here's a link: https://www.amazon.com/Bikini-Zone-Medicated-Creme-Area/dp/B001G7PZWY

If you can't find bikini zone, the salon/spa you are going to usually has a product they will recommend as there are tons of great ones out there right now.

I can shave my legs maybe once a week. Any more than that I get ingrown hairs. None of the prevention tips have ever worked for me. I don’t even attempt to shave my bikini line. Ingrowns there are a nightmare.

Magic cream shave (a depilatory cream for black men) is what I had been using for my bikini line. Sometimes my legs also. But it is messy and smelly.

More recently I bought Panasonic electric shaver and veet trimmer for my bikini line. Complete game changer! It doesn’t give you as close of a shave but I can shave every day...no ingrowns.

Hi there! Gonna ask you a few simple questions to gauge exactly what would best fit you!

  • What is your routine with foundation as of right now?
  • What type of skin do you have? Oily? Dry? Combo?
  • Are you fair skilled? Darker skinned?
  • What finish would you be going for? Matte? Dewy?
  • Do you want/ need something full coverage or just something to even out your skin tone?

I'm new to DE razors so I honestly I couldn't tell you what the actual model or brand is. Italian Barber called it their RazoRock Quick-Change DE model, however no branding is on the razor itself... Reverse image searching leads to offers for the exact same razor through Amazon but under the names of Oldcastle and JTrim, so I suspect it's a rebranded model of some kind, but I could be wrong.

Nevertheless, I'm pleased with the purchase but I'll probably upgrade to a Merkur 34C or something similar once I have a little more cash in my pocket.

You are in the same situation as me, Im not on hormones and i have thick long body hair, doing the same as you currently too, trying to find the best way to remove the hair.

Epilators are sometimes called "Electric Waxers" from what ive seen, but basically anywhere you can wax, you can epilate (So yes, all the places you said it should work).

Razors annoy me too, so ive been looking into other ways of removing it too. I just got some Nair today to try, but i was actually looking for Veet hair removal, as they have a special one designed for men, but i couldn't find it in the stores (But i found Nair, and it was half price so yay!)

Have you tried using off the shelf wax strips? they can be costly depending on what brand, i got Boots own ones for £2.94 (Again, half price sale though) yesterday, 20 re-usable strips (To an extent.. i was using them on very hair legs, it took 1 pack and 1/4 to do 90% of my legs). Worked very easily, you just rub them between your hands to warm them up and fold them back over and rub again between uses.

I haven't tried doing my chest yet however as since i may be getting hormones next month depending on how things go, i might get a full wax professionally to get rid of all the chest hair and back hair (As it is very long and thick) so it is easier for me to manage later.

I'm pretty sure David Thorne is the one writing them. Also check out the reviews for Veet hair removal cream for men reviews.

I thought it was him when I read them and they reminded me of his style. Then I read this piece by him that actually mentions the hair removal bit.

I ordered it well in advance and working in the North sea I considered myself a bit above some of the characters writing the previous reviews and wrote them off as soft office types...oh my fellow sufferers how wrong I was.
The relief was fantastic but only temporary as it melted fairly quickly and the fiery stabbing soon returned .
Due to the shape of the ice cream tub I hadn't managed to give the starfish any treatment and I groped around in the drawer for something else as I was sure my vision was going to fail fairly soon.I grabbed a bag of what I later found out was frozen sprouts and tore it open trying to be quiet as I did so.I took a handful of them and tried in vain to clench some between the cheeks of my arse.

I've posted previously about a cream I use that has been slowing down the hair growth.. Gigi Slow Grow Lotion with Argan Oil, 8 Ounce. It doesn't get rid of all the hair, you still have to pluck, but it just slows down the rate at which it grows.

My affirmation of when I feel loved is when me and the boyf just get all tangled up and lie together, doing our own thing. I'll often fall asleep with my face nuzzled into his armpit while he reads a book, or we'll just have a little nap together or something. He'll do little things like just stroke the back of my neck with his free hand or give me a little peck on the shoulder or whatever. It's just lying there in those little moments, when you can feel it, that's when I feel the most loved up. Or when he lovingly refers to me as 'fuckface' lol :)

I think this is under $10, depending on the exchange rate! I had one and it was amazing but I forgot to wash it up and the plunger went mouldy. I'd be sooooooo grateful for a replacement! this is under $15.

Thanks for the lovely contest! <3

Which one exactly do you use, if you don't want it to burn? Do you mean this one?

Thank you in advance!

Is your skin usually sensitive to creams and products, or mainly just mechanical agitation like shaving/waxing sugaring? A good alternative to removing hair from the top of your vagina (NOT your lips) would be Nair bikini cream. Chemically removing hair always leaves you softer than shaving, because it doesn't cut the hairs like a trimmer or razor does. Cutting hairs leaves a blunt sharp end on the hairs that causes the stubbly feeling. I would try a patch test with the nair on say your arm to make sure you don't have a reaction to it first. If you do try it down there, again only use it on the top of your vagina on your public bone, stick to the trimmer for the outer labia.

Bikini Zone? I apply it right after and then twice daily thereafter. If I'm strict about it, 0 ingrown hairs. Good luck! Smells slightly strange at first but I'm told it goes away (ahem). I don't know to deal with the old ones though, just know how to prevent new outbreaks..

u/vowels · 1 pointr/genderqueer

I read this last week. In short, you could try using Veet Sensitive. As with any product, test a tiny area before proceeding. Good luck!

u/KitiHowaito · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

I don't know about the safety part, but most hair removal items do not work for me. I do NOT have blonde baby fine hair so I've always assumed that was the issue. This is the only cream that has ever worked on any part of my body and it is usually highly recommended here. For whatever reason it only works on certain parts of my body. It does not work on my legs or armpits at all.

u/Unforgiven_Purpose · 1 pointr/asktransgender

you can try using Veet, cream based hair removal, very easy to use, and leaves a much better smooth surface

Here’s a link to the powder I’ve used most often. Scroll down and you’ll see the newer creams. I think they’re the same thing as the powder, just pre-mixed and stabilized, I’ve used the cream lately. Works the same, bit easier since you don’t have to mix it up with water.

Don’t let it throw you that they say “for African American men” lol, I think black people must have skin more sensitive to razors or something. Oh and it smells pretty bad, but you shower after anyway.

u/As_____AsIWantToBe · 1 pointr/beauty

I've never tried Magic Blue depilatory powder, but it's the closest thing to DIY Nair that I'd consider using.

@OP. Use this stuff: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nads-Men-Hair-Removal-Cream/dp/B003JFJF5E/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1519005359&sr=8-1&keywords=nads+hair+remover
.
2 tips tho.
Apply with those disposable gloves. The ones you get 50 for £1 for. Cheap rubbish... but protects your hands.
Tip 2: After you see great pain free results on your legs and body... DO NOT apply to a unibrow if you have one. Some silly bitch did. I was that silly bitch. Scabbed it up for a week.
This stuff is fine for bodys tho.
Just apply it.. .leave it for 5 or 6 mins... then run down FIRM with a wet shammy. The hair all... disappears. Love this product whilst I await to get my laser booked in.

u/loodmetalhead · 1 pointr/feminineboys

I use this stuff to get rid of my body hair. You just rub it on, wait, and then the hair comes off when you pull on it.

Yes, there is Nair for men, but not every store will carry it. You can certainly buy it online, see http://www.amazon.com/Nair-Men-Hair-Removal-Cream/dp/B00HZ24I18/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1450292048&sr=8-1&keywords=nair+for+men

If the store doesn't have Nair for men, you can just get the one for women...I've used it a few times and it works just the same, haven't noticed any real difference tbh.

Don't use veet for men hair removal based on these reviews (head for the one star ones). I can also testify

For me I am getting those because of hair growth. Between the depo shot, hormones, and having had laser the growth is slow but enough that after a while I get bumps where they are as the makeup firms up on my skin.

I have started using this face moisterizer, and while it has only been a few days I have noticed a difference. I was actually able to go a day without shaving after using it right after shaving. I also tend to shave in the shower, as I feel this gets me the closest shave to begin with.

Get some of this.

Females or males can use it.

Straight male here.

Been using it for the last 4 years. Apply a generous amount to your fingers and just slop it around the hole or anywhere there's hair, count to 6 minutes or get a stop watch, wash off in shower with a cloth. Never had a single ingrown hair and stays completely smooth for atleast 2 months for me.
