These are some of my holy grail skincare products!

Night time:

  1. Cleanse with cerave cleanser
  2. I typically do Melano CC or BHA/AHA every few days or so. AHA/BHA are chemical exfoliators and Melano CC is vitamin C that helps renew your skin. These are both applied right after cleansing the skin, you have to wait 20-25 minutes after applying BHA/AHA (10 minutes for the vit CC) before you apply other stuff.
** these products dry out your skin so I put on many layers of moisture after, and also don't do them everyday. AHA (and BHA too, I believe) makes your skin more sensitive to the sun so I also wear SPF 50 everyday underneath my makeup.
  3. then the Missha FTE mist
  4. the snail mucin gel
  5. scinic honey thing

    day time:
  6. either missha fte or snail mucin gel
  7. shirojyun toner
  8. shirojyun lotion (just cuz I have it, probably wouldn't repurchase although I do really like it!)
  9. sunscreen

    hope this helps! :)

Ah, finally something I can chime in on. I've had it on and off for years at this point.

The first wave typically is the worst, with itching so bad that it'll wake you up at night. Bringing up your carbs slightly (as in going from 10g to 15g) is the easiest fix.

The more complex method is to go through a course of Doxycycline however with a few weeks, you're likely to notice it will come right back (though with each resurgence it's never as bad as the initial wave).

The trick I'm using right now that seems to work really well is tons of probiotics. It seems to really make a difference (BioK+ is what I have locally, but you can't take too much as they do have some added sugar in there). Any strong probiotic supplement might show some improvement, but it really comes down to trying and seeing what sticks.
/u/MondayIn has a good insight also - ox bile pills seem to do something to improve it (I take them also!).

If you're in the experimental mindset and want to try something that might work as well; try "Mother Dirt" probiotic skin spray - I've heard some good things about it.

Overall I haven't found the "fix" myself for it (if there's someone who has more insight, I'd love to hear it), but it does dial down after a while. Do make sure to drink lots of water - in my case it tends to get far worse with dehydration.

Good luck!

I always keep a misting spray like this in my drawer. When my eyes get tired from staring at the computer screen, I'll close my eyes, mist my face, and wait a minute or so for the product to dry. Gives both my eyes and skin a break! :)

It's Mario Badescu. I love that skincare line!

Skincare Routine:

Morning:

  • Wake up, wash face with water and apply a small amount of Biotherm Life Plankton Elixir (Got this in a sample size, free with a purchase for some other products).
  • Afterwards, I'll apply Vichy Skin-Perfecting Velvety Cream (SPF 50).If I'm wearing makeup that day, I'll use Weleda Skin Food as a primer (some sites suggested it) and go on with a little bit of foundation.

    Evening:

  • When I get home I'll take my makeup off by lathering on Nature Republic Himalaya Cleansing Balm, Pink Salt and gently wiping it off with a cotton pad. I don't want to over-wash my face so I usually leave it as is for the rest of the day until I properly wash my face before bed (Usually no longer than 5 hours)
  • Then, at night, I wash my face using Bioderma Sensibio Mild Cleansing Foaming Gel and pat face dry.
  • I use Mario Badescu's Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater as a light toner, followed by the Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid 2%+B5 all over my face and once that's sinked in, I'll apply Weleda Skin Food again to boot.

I only exfoliate twice a week, (Tuesday) once using a brush as an physical exfoliator (something similar to a Clarisonic brush) and (Thursday) the Ordinary's Lactic Acid 10% + HA as a chemical exfoliator.

I only recently started using these products together, in an attempt to help this bumpy issue I've been having for quite a few months now. I don't know exactly when it started but it's definitely only been 2+ months since it has re-appeared and stubbornly stayed with me. I've also just bought the Ordinary's Salycylic Acid 2% since I've heard it does wonders, especially paired with the Niacinamide (which I need to get!).

If you've any recommendations or advice, I'm willing to hear and learn more! If it helps at all, I currently live in Sweden so not all products are found here, keep in mind. I'm also sorry for the switch between amazon.co.uk and amazon.com - I couldn't find some products on the US site.

I would so, so, so appreciate any help given. (I have a more HD picture if wanted, but it's gross - imo). Am I doing something wrong? Is it an allergic reaction to something? The spots aren't itchy or anything and they don't flare up or turn red (the only redness/red spots are due to me picking the skin, I must admit I suffer from Compulsive Skin Picking - which makes this whole ordeal horrible).

EDIT: Grammar and change of a product + Forgot to specify that I do have PCOS (policystic ovarian syndrome), and I'm taking birth control pills for it. I know it can affect the skin along the jawline, but how come it affects other parts of my face and comes and goes? I have some speculations that this is not hormonal acne.

I use this Japanese spray that i got when i was in Japan. Here is the link from amazon

I bought 3 last time i was in Japan and it was godsend when i was in Europe walking around the sun. The reviews said it was oily but i don’t necessarily find it that oily and my skin is oily.

Hi there! After my bff was diagnosed with melanoma when we were both in our early 20s, sun protection became a passion of mine. For my face I have been using this
underneath my makeup every day. Then this for touch ups throughout the day since it also doubles as a matte finishing spray.

If I'm going to be out in the sun all day (which sounds like you are) I always wear sun protective clothing and a hat with a wide brim all the way around. I hope this helps!

If you are not sensitive to fatty alcohols like cetyl or stearyl alcohol, try CeraVe in the tub. Your Dr. Jart cream has fatty alcohols, could that be the culprit? Also, if you like Belif then you should consider switching to the True Cream Moisturizing Bomb instead of the Aqua Bomb. I have dry skin for most of the year and use the Moisturizing Bomb from fall to spring both morning and night and it has been great. Something that has also helped my flaky skin is making sure that my face is damp when applying hyaluronic acid and other moisturizers. I like to use essences like Missha First Treatment Mist or Secret Key. Or, just buy a nice spray bottle and fill it with distilled water.

If you still find that your skin is not getting better, then your moisture barrier may be damaged. I am not a doctor but if you're experiencing redness, flakiness, peeling, sensitivity, stinging when you apply products, and or tightness in your skin then you will need to treat that. First you will want to pair your entire routine down. Check out the SCA post on healing the moisture barrier. From your routine, the first irritating product you might try replacing is your Ole Henriksen face the truth gel cleanser. Try a creamier or jelly cleanser (not gel though.) Check out thesidebar for product recommendations, I personally use CeraVe Hydrating cleanser, but again it does contain fatty alcohols so YMMV.

From left to right:
TonyMoly MasterLAB Intensive Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask - $2.80
I tried some really really cheapie HA masks and it made my face feel amazing so I definitely wanted to grab some nicer ones and see if there was a difference. I'm definitely considering adding HA itself into my routine.

TonyMoly I'm REAL Red Wine Mask Sheet Pore Care - $2.62
Oh, my pores and I, the endless struggle. I'll always look for something to subdue you.

Botanics Hydration Burst Hydrating Day Cream - 15.99
I'm currently ONLY doing a PM routine, with facial oils, but I'd like to start doing a morning routine and was looking for a little faster absorption.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater (2oz) - $5
Because my only current moisturizers are oil based, and I'm hoping to add HA in some form or fashion to my routine, I wanted something to help the HA from the masks and whatever future products I added (Currently have TO Mandelic Acid 10% with HA, waiting to add it into the routine) really be effective.

Botanics Organic Softening Cleanser - $10.99
Oh boy am I excited about this, and this is the kind of product I went in looking for. I started my skincare journey using the Pixi Double Cleanse which is a fantastic product my skin loved...except they run out fast and the two products don't run out at the same rate. I'd have happily bought the cream cleanser if they sold it separately, which they don't, so I was asking for a couple of days in the daily help thread for any kind of similar product. The only suggestion was La Roche-Posay Toleriane Gentle Hydrating Cleanser which I got...which then dried out my face and wrecked my moisture barrier so bad it went from drinking in several layers of oil in an hour, to being unable to absorb one in 5. I'm still working on the backlash from that but I am well and truly out of the Pixi now so I had to find a reaplcement cleanser today. I'm really hoping this will do the trick, and I will, of course, report back. I've already tested the PH and it looks to be a solid 5.5.

All from Ulta, in total: $48.56

My skin: Pores galore. Oily when untouched, but dehydrated and dries at the mere mention of a foaming cleanser. Very sensitive to drying but ok with fragrances.
My current routine:
Banila Clean It Zero Sherbert Cleanser
(Second Cleanser was Pixi Double Cleanse Cream, replacing tonight with Botanics Organic Softening Cleanser)
Pixi Glow Tonic (When it's safe to add, will be replaced with The Ordinary 10% Mandelic Acid + HA)
The Ordinary 100% Plant Derived Squalane
[The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil]
Once a week: Aztec Secret + Braggs ACV clay mask (skipped last week due to compromised moisture barrier)

I would like to note - I am especially interested to hear from anyone who uses more natural brands, Burts Bees, Botanics, Shea Moisture, etc. I find the less crazy chemicals and the more natural stuff is easier to pinpoint when my face eventually freaks out.

In addition to a setting spray, you might add a refreshing spray - something like this. I also think a little mirror compact would be a nice addiction.

u/llviolet · 2 pointsr/AsianBeauty

The Sana Deep Mist (250ml) is pretty amazing. It's very moisturizing and the mist is very fine. It cost around $13. You can buy it on amazon (they used to have the prime but not at the moment, you can wait and see if prime add it back) and sasa.com.

u/anoukaimee · 2 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I really like the COSRX Galacto Alcohol Free Toner. Gives great whitening effect (yeast ferment), and prob tightens up pores a bit too (niacinamide). No scent that I can discern.

But it isn't for "touch up" moisture, you know? Or at least I don't think it should be.

Have you tried Mario Badescu Facial Spray? It gets raves on MUA and other places. And it's pretty damn cheap.

I've heard people say that using this product instead of soap has cleared up their skin.

u/jmnugent · 2 pointsr/NoStupidQuestions

I'm coming up on my 1year anniversary of stopping entirely using soap. (sounds weird,. but stick with me)

I had a long childhood of skin issues (eczema, rashes, dry spots, etc). I also had a long history (well into my 20's and 30's) of having body-odor issues. Unfortunately.. I ended up figuring out that I was causing most of it myself,. by OVER-using various harsh soaps and multiple deodorants and body-sprays,etc. I was damaging my skin so much,. it was exacerbating my skin allergies and eczema and amplifying the bad bacteria (which is what was causing all my body odor problems).

After feeling like I'd nearly exhausted nearly every over-the-counter and prescription thing I could try,.. I decided to take an entirely different and radical approach:

  • I still take the same amount of showers,.. but literally the only thing I use is cool water. That's it. I rub my body down,. and stay in there long enough to rinse the surface clean,. but that's it. I don't over do it.

  • I also occasionally use this product: Mother Dirt AO+ Body & Skin probiotic (https://www.amazon.com/Mother-Dirt-Probiotic-Spray-Preservative-Free/dp/B01JQRY5XA ).. which is a "good bacteria" (Nitrosomonas eutropha) that consumes ammonia (bad body odor) and helps balance your skin biome. I used to use it every day (at the beginning).. but now many only a couple small/light sprays every 2 or 3 days.

It's been a shocking flip in my skin health and nearly eliminated my body odor. (the only time I get slight odor now is if I work an incredibly hard day, like 12 to 14 to 16 straight hours of physical exertion/sweat to the point where my clothes are dripping wet. All my eczema and skin rashes have gone away. The vast majority of days (even with moderate physical activity).. I can still come home at the end of the day and not smell hardly at all. It's so bizarre and non-traditional,.. honestly it's still kind of blowing my own mind.

I still wash my hands after using the bathroom,. and I still use Toothpaste and mouthwash. Those are the only soap-products I use directly on my body any more.

Non-AB but I'm obsessed with this spray

u/JiggIePhysics · 2 pointsr/amiugly

For acne: Everyday after gently scrubbing your face try out some Thayers Witch Hazel w/ Aloe Vera, then a light spray of rose water. It did wonders for my skin. https://www.amazon.com/Thayers-Witch-Hazel-Original-Astringent/dp/B00017OV9S

https://www.amazon.com/Garnier-SkinActive-Facial-Spray-Water/dp/B073QPMFPC/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?keywords=rose+water+spray&qid=1570401006&sr=8-2

If that fails you, try some African Black Soap (another amazing product) https://www.amazon.com/s?k=african+black+soap&ref=is_s

The giant bumps will stay noticable until they are drained. You wont have a scar as long as you give a light poke at the surface with a sterile 20g piercing needle then give a gentle squeeze. Don't pick any scabs or you will expose the new skin and that will make it oxidize and darken. Let scabs fall off with time.

Hope this helps :)

I'd recommend this stuff too, it's a heavily researched skin probiotic:

https://www.amazon.com/Mother-Dirt-Probiotic-Spray-Preservative-Free/dp/B01JQRY5XA

All the antibiotics mess up our biome. I did a clinical trial of that and if cleared my lingering adult acne.

This is the company behind it, clinical trial press release

Mychelle Fruit Enzyme Mist

This stuff is amazing. I have the same type of skin issues and this has been the key to healthy, light, effective moisturizing for me. I love the way it smells and feels, and it is free of all the toxic crap (parabens, phthalates, etc.) most cosmetic lines contain. Sorry if that sounds infomercialish, but it is true. You'll love it or your money back. (Okay, that part's not true.)

The deodorant brand Secret came out with this little portable ball of deodorant. I always have one with me. I don't mind sweating nearly as much if I know that I smell somewhat decent.

I cut my hair to shoulder length and got an undercut. It's on the extreme side, but I love not having a mess of hair to deal with.

Shoe deodorizer if you have to wear close toed.

Of course! I tried to keep it as un-overwhelming as possible, but feel free to ask if you have more questions! I kind of got thrown into the deep end alone when I started AB, so I'm happy to help when I can.

Oh, of the moisturizers I suggested: for the SNP gels, bird's nest is primarily a whitening and elasticity-boosting ingredient. Cactus functions more like aloe or bamboo, so it's primarily a hydrating ingredient. Personally, I greatly prefer the bird's nest, but if you're sensitive to fragrance at all, go with the cactus. c: You can find either one on Amazon for ~$10. There are even a few listing with Prime shipping if you have that (I hate waiting, lmao).

I know I mentioned that Ladykin whitening cream, but I forgot that it has alcohol in it, so for now I would actually avoid it until you get your skin sorted a bit more. Alcohol in skincare isn't bad, per se, but it also isn't helpful to people like us with damaged moisture barriers.

Also (I swear this is all), here are a few links to good, inexpensive face mists:

Mario Badescu Rose, Aloe & Herb

Heritage Rosewater & Glycerin

Mizon Snail Repair Hydro Mist

u/dollarwhiskey · 2 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

It sounds like you have combination skin like I do, I use the CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion and the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser. I'm not sure if you have the Pixi brand in Argentina, but I really love their Hydrating Milky Mist. You literally just spray a little bit on your face and it just feels like water, it absorbs really quickly as well.

u/Koushiba · 2 pointsr/AsianBeauty

It's not Asian but it really helped when I got extremly bad dry skin. I used eucerin original healing lotion, it's not meant for your face but it did wonders on my dry skin (my skin was so dry I'd scratch my skin and it would break the skin, causing blood to pool-). I patted very minute amounts onto my skin in desperate need and now I all but slather it on my face at night lol. Edit- forgot to add I got the tub version and my skin is sensitive and acne prone but it didn't have any adverse effect on my skin, just made it all smooth and hydrated.
I think something with rosewater and aloe would help, also not Asian but this http://www.amazon.com/Mario-Badescu-Facial-Spray-Rosewater/dp/B002LC9OES also helped top :)
Mamonde has a rosewater toner too!

According to my point of view, Korean Skin Care is the best product of all the other products. It ingredients 100% naturals with Tamarind extract, Japanese Green Tea, Aloe Vera, Cucumber Extract & Marine Minerals which can help the process of cell regeneration, protects and repairs the skin from its deep, dermis layer by stimulating the stem cells present in it. This product contains natural ingredients and they never harm your skin.

Hello~ I've been stalking the Korean beauty industry for years, but have never committed due to random reasons. I want to try my hand at it next year (need to use up my stupidly expensive Sephora products). Here's a routine I created - mostly from Snow White & The Pear's reviews. For the record, I have eczema (thanks god, no flares right now) and sensitive (contact allergies), oily skin. I know. How can I have eczema and oily skin? OTL

u/rath98 · 1 pointr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I've bought a lot of facial sprays like this aloe and rosewater spray from the Winners around me which I've found is much cheaper than online or in a regular store. Just read the backs of the sprays and make sure that they can go over make-up so that you don't risk ruining anything. There's a bunch of different types and different companies too that you can pick from, just read the backs.

Essentially I spray them on whenever I'm feeling sweaty and gross and they help me feel refreshed when I'm outside. You just have to get over the initial weirdness of spraying yourself in the face in public (plus the pat-to-dry part). The best part about the sprays that have things like green tea, witch hazel, or aloe in them is that they are super hydrating so it helps with dry skin too!

u/deepfriedyoga · 1 pointr/xxfitness

Depending on how much you sweat, I would take a quick shower to rinse off (just put hair up). If your hair is sweaty, you can spray hairspray or something else and blowdry it. I really like this Mario Badescu spray to freshen up.

Hello!

I've been lurking on this subreddit for a few months, and while it's helped me put together a routine, I feel like there's more I can do to improve my skin!

To start, here are some pictures! https://imgur.com/a/0JLlV

I'm 31 (32 soon!), and I THINK I have normal/dry skin. Sometimes it feels tight or flaky in the morning, before I wash and moisturize. Overall my face is soft, but there's a tiny bit of roughness. I have the occasional breakout (around nose/chin), but it's never more than one or two whiteheads, and they usually go away after a few days.

My main concern is REDNESS, as well as whatever's going on with my forehead.

The pictures are after I've been up for a while, before I wash my face. This is about how my face looks normally, and I'd really like to reduce the blotches and have a more even skintone. My forehead is a little bumpy, with red spots.

Here's my routine!

Cerave PM

Every once in a while I'll use the FOMO jelly mask from LUSH.
I also have this diy mask powder from WitchBaby that I haven't tried yet, but I was thinking about mixing it with Aloe.

I used the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion like, once. It didn't really do much for the pimple I had, but it could be because it rubbed off. Maybe I'd have better luck if I slapped a hydrocolloid bandage over it after it dries?

I WAS mixing Acure Seriously Soothing Blue Tansy Night Oil (new formula) with my moisturizer for a couple weeks, and it made my face feel GREAT, but I started getting more breakouts than usual, in spots that I don't normally break out.

I also tried using CosRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid every other day (alternating with Stridex Red) for about a month, and stopped because I didn't see much difference and I got tired of waiting 20mins to finish my routine.

I've been doing this since early January, and I haven't really seen much improvement. I really like to keep things simple (my PM routine is already on that border of being too much!), so I'd rather replace parts of my routine with things that could work out better, than add to it, unless it's super necessary.

I'm thinking about replacing the Matcha toner (which is kind of meh to me) and the MB spray with some Thayer's witch hazel (cucumber or rose?). I really like the MB spray because it makes it easier to apply moisturizer, but if I can do the same thing with Thayer's (in a spray bottle) then it'd be nice to combine the two steps into one product. And it'd be cheaper!

I'd like to add some sort of oil (rosehip seed? squalane?) that I can just mix with my moisturizer. I liked doing it with the Acure, but something about it broke me out.

I was also considering using Azelaic Acid instead of Stridex. If I did that, my choices would be either TO or Melazepam since I'm in the US.

I was also looking into the possibility of using Curology as a way to just mix all that good stuff into one product.

I'm very lazy.

Anyways, this ended up being REALLY long! I probably should have made this its own post, but I figured I'd try the daily help thread first!

Thanks for any advice!

I have been using John Master's Organics as a night time moisturizer for a while: https://johnmasters.com/products/skin-care/pomegranate-facial-nourishing-oil.html I really love it, but am concerned it's not moisturizing enough! My skin doesn't feel dry so much as look a little dry. I am very fair and have sensitive, acne-prone skin (used to have hormonally triggered cystic acne) that needs a lot of moisture, so have a hard time finding products that work without breaking me out. I also grew up at the beach in Southern California so got a huge head start on sun damage ;) Am thinking of trying raw shea butter but am a but afraid from what I've read about mixed results! Or maybe I can change something else in my routine to help?

Download a bunch of podcasts or shows so you have something to do if there's no in flight entertainment. Have decent headphones and bring a book.

Wear layers - it can go from hot to quite cold. Bring a large scarf you can unfold into a light blanket. I also bring a neck pillow and blindfold for sleeping.

I always bring a spray bottle with toning water. I love First Aid Beauty's Vitamin Hydrating Mist. The plane gets really dry - make sure you also have lip balm and hand lotion.

This happens to me a lot. I typically have messy hair, so I don't really bother with that, but the rest of my routine is as follows:

I have a bottle of the Avene spray that I got in a birchbox. It came with a pamphlet all about how you can use it on sunburn or wounds and how it is recommended for post-surgery or skin treatments. I don't know if I would pay for it but it does add a nice extra bit of hydration if you are layering hydration. I bet sticking it in the fridge would be really nice in the summer. It doesn't say what the mineral content is, as far as I can tell, so it is hard to tell what exactly would be helpful for healing aside from keeping skin hydrated.

For instant results you need a product with some kind of silicons, like dimethicone. Older colleague of mine uses herbalife under eye cream or gel and is very happy with instantly puffed skin. Or you can try mist and serum with nanocellulose, both draws in and locks in moisture which makes the lines less visible, but the results come with regular use. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077T95221

There are definitely ways to wash your face without water. Cold cream, certain lotion-y cleansers can be tissued off, micellar water, toner, etc.

Also, maybe consider using a thermal water like Avene/La Roche Posay/Evian after washing and before anything else as a buffer/reset. I like to pat it into my face to fight trans epidermal water loss.

There's a deal on amazon in luxury skincare where orders of $50+ get you $25 back: http://www.amazon.com/Luxury-Makeup-Skin-Hair-Beauty-Products/b?ie=UTF8&node=7175545011

I thought this stuff was ridiculous (the thought of spending money to spray water on my face...) but I got it from a friend and it's actually really nice: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00172O9NO/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=7Y9U4C1FYAQM&coliid=I26F0FOCANQQIQ&psc=1

I haven't used this because I don't have the money and the aztec clay mask is good enough for me but I've heard really good things about it:

Mario Badescu is a great brand in general if you wanna check out their other stuff. I've been recommending expensive stuff since it seems you want to splurge but this mask still really good and popular: http://www.amazon.com/Aztec-Secret-Indian-Healing-Cleansing/dp/B0014P8L9W/ref=lp_11060711_1_3_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1457123629&sr=1-3

Paula's choice is another good brand if you want to check out their website. I recommend getting her weekly/occasional pampering stuff so she doesn't feel like she has to change up her daily routine (everything I've linked so far)

If you REALLY want to splurge, probably the #1 money-isnt-an-issue skincare product anyone into skincare can get is a clarisonic brush.

My skin looks healthier and kinda glowing with vitality after doing the following routine for two months:

  1. Use a gentle daily cleanser. I use Velocity in the shower and it works great for my skin.

  2. After getting out of the shower, spray this toner onto your face and let it soak in (takes ~4 min).

  3. Moisturize.

Then if you want you can apply foundation or not. I usually don't, but when I do it's a sheer to invisible powder developed to even skin tone and reduce facial redness. Sleep deprivation makes my face prone to flushing.

Seriously, I always had a problem with bags and looking tired, but with this routine my face just looks incredibly fresh and healthy. It makes a world of difference.

Hi! If I buy the Missha First Treatment Essence Mist, would that still be the same as the original formulation? I've wanted to try this but I've been reading about how the new Intensive version took out a lot of ingredients. Thanks for your help!

Yes! I've only tried one and I adore it. It's the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herb and Rosewater!

You'd need a travel friendly spray bottle to decant it into tough.

I use this shower replacement stuff on my skin and hair twice a day. It's live bacteria that eats ammonia in my sweat and turns it into nitric oxide. I still shower, but it's usually a quick rinse after the gym or hiking. I use very little soap when I do shower, usually Stirling. Never wash my hair and haven't for about two years, the bacteria takes care of that, rinse it once a month. I do have one of those natural loofahs I exfoliate with every once in a while, but it's not really necessary to care for my skin anymore. I don't even need lotion now.

Bacteria > soap
