This is the one i use. Idk why youd pay so much for one when all it is is a roller with needles.
btw link is for a .25mm. I have a 1.5mm same brand.
Some non-drug remedies to consider:
Make sure you're changing your pillowcases at night. If you sleep on your side or stomach like I often do, bacteria and whatnot on your pillow can cause you to break out or make existing acne worse. I started rotating pillowcases, changing them every couple nights or so, and saw a huge difference!
Try a deep cleaning facial brush, like Olay's Pro-X. I've had friends tell me it is worth the ~$30, and after reading great reviews I'm heading out to get one this week! It's waay cheaper than the Clarisonic facial brush, or any other expensive treatments I've seen at Sephora and other stores.
I bought a Ohui gift set with softener, toner, essence and night cream (and travel set) for about 120. It lasted for a year so costwise about 10 a month. (Amazon link below)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RY2UY4O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_XC7AzbPMZR22C
Could be stretch marks. It's hard to see from this picture. If you've had them for while or if they don't dissapear in a week than it's most likely stretch marks.
It's easier to prevent stretch marks than to cure them. Stay hidrated and use a body milk/lotion or cosmetics product aimed at pregnant women to make your skin more flexible.
How to cure: I would use a products that other suggested or any sillicone based (!) product aimed at reducing visibility of stretch marks.
PLUS an incredibly efficient metod is Dermabrasion/Microdermabrasion. The best was to do this would be a visit to a dermatologist or aesthetician. OR you could do (a bit less efficient) method at home. One of the options is something like: https://www.amazon.com/Healthy-Care-Needles-Titanium-Microneedle/dp/B01JSVXHFG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1486578270&sr=8-3&keywords=derma+roller
It's basically a roller with small needles that you use on affected area and will make your body start producung colagen and help reverse visibility or remove strech marks. As an added bonus it will help with absorption of any other product/cream on the area used.
Highly recommended.
Source: am in the business.
Edit: just checked out the product I linked to. I would recommend longer needles than the one I linked has.
Thanks! And hmm, well with the lotions, I just tend to go thin to thinnest. For example, the La Mer mist is very watery, so that goes first. The SK II essence is watery as well so that goes second. The Hado Labo Gokujun is thicker, so I’d do that next and so on and so forth. I really don’t worry about interactions bc they mostly have a.) similar ingredients and b.) I don’t find my skin to be very reactive to products, I can use whatever I want basically without fear or breaking out! But it’s all about experimenting and trial and error.
Also, the Pyunkang Yul Essence toner was from amazon! It actually came in this adorable set with their moisture cream, serum and a sheet mask for like $50, you can get it here
I managed to get the top off of this one, now it's refillable with any soap, not just their overpriced refill packages 😊

Google it, then.
(A) Nothing, I'm not trying to attack you or anything. You asked for brutal honesty and it just doesn't help you when you're trying to pass with makeup.
(B) Moisturizer isn't going to matte your face throughout the day over your makeup. By itself maybe, but still.
Again, just CC, look how you want.
This is a bit heavy but it's your preference.
You aren't a guy, you're a girl. Literally, right now as much as you may not feel it, your hormones have made you biologically female. Also, it will be a very healthy exercise in moving past the concern of what people think of you.
After you shower, when you're getting ready, and whenever it's tangled. I don't know, just brush it? Run the comb through your hair until you don't feel resistance? Again, google it, it's something that I've been doing since a very young age so it's a bit hard to explain. It will make your hair softer, healthier, promote growth, and train it to go a certain direction rather than just going everywhere. Don't yank clumps, hold your hair between your scalp and the tangled hair and brush through. Also, go look for some sort of frizz control or detangler hair stuff. Also, conditioning will help. Price is one factor, and people's reviews are another. There is an absurd amount of info on the internet: google it. And also, Head and Shoulders is junk. If you have a problem with dandruff consider using Nizoral two times a week.
To me, it sounds like the self hatred talking. See someone, express this. You need to get past it. If anything is poisoning your mind it's yourself.
Well, if you feel like you look weird with makeup then maybe you need to take a step back and understand that what you're doing isn't working and you need to change something. Not all makeup products are equal. You need to get better stuff that fits you.
Well, you need to. And it's not even a "guy" thing to not care about skin, it's just an uninformed thing. You need to care about at least your skin and your hair. It's part of basic care for yourself. If you don't take care of your skin you get cancer, and if you don't take care of your hair it'll become matted and damaged. I get the exhaustion part, that could be a number of things. I'll reference a few of them in the next few lines.
Hair dryers are cheaaaap, and your hair would benefit from one. You could probably get one for almost nothing at a goodwill nearby. Head and shoulders, like I said before, is bad. All sorts of drying components to it, just not great. Like I said before, I use nizoral because if I didn't I would have an insane dandruff problem (due to serrb derm), I'd suggest it if you do have flakes, if you don't get something good and suggested by the curly hair sub I linked earlier.
Well, I can't say much there if you don't like it.
I have this on my legs and the back of my arms. So unsightly. I feel your pain. The only stuff I've found to really work miracles is this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000M9UIE2/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1426436397&sr=8-2&pi=SL75&keywords=kp+duty+scrub
It's kinda pricy but one set lasts for a couple years for me because it's potent and you don't need a lot of it or every day. Hope this helps!

And ditto to above comments about sheet masks they are really good to give as gifts too
My face (30s male) has always been oily and is breaking out with acne quite badly lately and I had just been throwing more and more acne stuff at it (AcneFree Benzoyl Peroxide, Neutrogena Rapid Clear salicylic acid pads, Differin (retinoid)) without ever doing any cleansing or moisturizing. This arms war escalation has been going on for years with the salicylic acid added in the last few months due to nothing improving.
I did some reading in the Wiki/FAQ here and I decided to essentially start from scratch and ordered RUGGED & DAPPER - Daily Facial Duo Cleanser and Moisturizer.
So, two questions:
Thanks for the help, I'll be starting out with the new stuff tonight as long as I don't get any advice otherwise.

I know it all looks like a lot but the routine itself really takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes in total.
I'd say you have mild acne. Do you often have breakouts?
Im on my third month supply of IMMUNE Acne Treatment. It's a 30 day kit but it does a good job of managing my acne. Before that I was on acne treatments with Benzoyl Peroxide... yea not a fan of those. They dry your skin albeit they do fade it out a bit but really not worth it when you have better options. So things like Proactiv are really outdated but people dont realize that...
If you want something good then i'll highly recommend this one.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072PXMY81/
Olay Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System is my vote.
For extra pretty skin
I'm really going to try to spend at least ONE DAY in public wearing my purple lipstick! I actually had a conversation with another redditor who wanted it so bad but i've only worn mine once inside the house so I should get some use out of mine D: it's rimmel kate's lipstick in 04 which is the upper left corner one.
I'm linking this but if I won, i wouldn't mind any gift much below or above its value. Every glam is appreciated :D however i linked it just cuz im really too lazy to wash my face LOL it sounds like I'm gross but I mean like pretty sure you're "supposed" to wash your face for like over a minute but most days it's just a quick cleanse and then I'm like f this i give up
tagging said redditor who wants the lipstick i have! /u/cowbundles. also tagging /u/roseatesg because its int!!!!! that never happens! She deserves a glam :)
Thanks for hosting! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!
I'm thinking of trying out the Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur; I've got samples of them but they seem a bit thicker/tackier texture.
Lei Lani was definitely had a more lotioney texture. If you applied it on your hand, it "dissolves" and... sort of stains the skin. The effect isn't very pronounced but noticeable if you did a before/after.
Using it makes you look like you're having a good skin day; unstressed, plump, bright, etc.
I'm currently looking at a few products, namely:
Skinfood Premium Whitening Finisher
The Face Shop White Seed Real Whitening Essence and Finisher
Peripera Oil Capture Peach Sun Finisher with SPF 50/PA+++
Edit: Bad grammar.
I tried this one from amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WRFYCYS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_AfT2lk1afiESw
People are saying good things about the ones called SIO but they are a lot more expensive and I hadn't heard about them until after I bought this one for the neck. Good luck!
My current routine:
wet face
apply CeraVe Foaming Cleanser(https://www.amazon.com/CeraVe-Foaming-Facial-Cleanser-Washing/dp/B01N1LL62W/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1543554976&sr=1-4&keywords=cerave%2Bfoaming%2Bfacial%2Bcleanser&th=1)
After having applied cleanser to all of face I use this brush for approximately one minute anad then I rinse my face with water(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071DZG44Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
After using the brush/finishing the cleansing process I use one of these pads and I apply it to all of my face
(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074GF1PNL/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews)
I let my face air dry for like 30 seconds after using the stridex pad and then I apply this moisturizer lotion (https://www.amazon.com/CeraVe-Moisturizing-Lotion-Hyaluronic-Ceramides/dp/B000YJ2SLG/ref=sr_1_5_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1543554993&sr=1-5&keywords=cerave+moisturizing+cream)
I believe that I need to start using some sort of sunscreen, no? If so what should I go for? I don't really know where to look for them just by searching "facial sunscreen" on amazon. (https://www.amazon.com/EltaMD-Clear-Facial-Sunscreen-Broad-Spectrum/dp/B002MSN3QQ/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1543555607&sr=1-4&keywords=elta+sunscreen) This one looks good based on the reviews but 1.7 ounces for $25 is kinda pricey considering that I'll be using the same amount of sunscreen as I would for my lotion. I have normal skin. Any advice on my current routine or input on what sunscreen I should get that's great for the price would help. Thanks.
I highly recommend Paula’s choice three step acne kit. It’s a lot more gentle that proactive and it’s worked wonders. Also, face oil as a moisturizer works super well for me. When my skin is dry it overproduces oil and I get bad acne. Paula’s choice has a great niacinimide moisturizer as well!
https://www.amazon.com/Paulas-Choice-Strength-Salicylic-PACKAGING/dp/B01DQ6Y3ZC
The Mizon Recovery Gel broke me out too. But I just tried the Nature Republic Snail Solution 90 Booster and it's working well! It's been a month and no breakouts and it makes my skin so hydrated and plump :)
There's a trial kit on Amazon prime to test before purchasing. I've tried the booster and emulsion so far with no issues.
Miniature painting!
I've played Tabletop RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons for years and years now, and miniatures were always on the periphery of the hobby. A few months ago, I got some really nice modular dungeon terrain for my birthday and started looking into miniatures to use with it.
I ended up finding a wonderful hobby - buying unpainted miniatures and painting them how I want. Adding texture, shading. At times it feels like a genuine art. And despite my limited talent, I end up really proud of the things I produce. Plus, it's a great way to spend time with my fiancee. She'll often come home from work and we'll paint miniatures until dinner time. Here's a small album of some of the things me and my fiancee have painted.
We do end up spending a good bit on it, but it's a lot of hours of entertainment for the cost. By the hour, it comes out cheaper than most hobbies. That said, I am starting to wear out brushes and can tell the difference between good ones and bad ones. I'll need to buy more of these soon.
To anyone else who might be interested, check /r/minipainting for tutorials, questions, discussion, and of course to see other people's cool minis.
Anyone try micro brushes when dealing? Been thinking about picking up a set and trying them out.
This thing (http://amzn.com/B0043OYFKU) is pretty health conscious. Clean skin is healthy skin.
This would be good for my health because my dermatologist said to get a Clarisonic unit but those are super expensive and this is apparently the next best thing.
Dec 19th and it's a boy!
20 bucks

Congrats! I'll be able to find out gender soon myself. Hoping for a boy but either is great.
Woohoo! Your jewelry is breath-taking :D
I'd pamper myself with a facial scrubber/cleanser.
Kitten mittens
i have one from Olay available on Amazon that i really enjoy. Even though it runs on AA batteries it works in the shower too.
I refuse to enter the contest because it's your birthday and it should be all about you. I don't know how much you have to spend, but I always have a rule to buy myself jewelry and things to make myself feel and smell pretty on my birthday, so:
Happy birthday!! I hope you have a great one. <3
I was going to, but I bought the Olay Pro-X brush instead. I really like it quite a bit.
I have pretty bad acne scars/ acne and one of my favorite things to use is Origins Modern Friction. I apply some to my face while dry in circular motions with my fingertips then I splash some water and use the Olay ProX face brush and that has helped tremendously!
Ms. Chowder I missed your birthday!?!?! WHAT! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Anyways, I think you should totally get this. It will do wonders for your skin and you'll love it.
Probably not.
But you don't need that shit for acne bro.
You need some decent soap.
Get this
and some of this
use both daily, and in a few weeks ur skin will look fuckin amazing.
antibiotics are the lazy/easy way, that isnt good for your body.
Hello!
I started using a facial cleansing brush and Paula's Choice "Clear" line of cleanser/creams around Christmas 2016 and they have completely changed my complexion.
My mom/dad/brother all used the brushes before me (and raved about them) and tried to get me to buy one for months... finally my mom gave me one for Christmas, and I'm so glad she did! I use it about 3 times a week.
Breakouts are down by about 75 percent and I feel so much more confident.
Brush I use: here!
Paula's Choice Clear Line: here!
Good luck!
Depends what kind of skin you have but I use this regimen Paula's Choice CLEAR Extra Strength Acne Travel Kit - 2% Salicylic Acid & 5% Benzoyl Peroxide for Severe Acne https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YW8CBV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_rKkszbSX8HPVA
Then use this: (because I have oily)
Paula's Choice CLEAR Ultra-Light Daily Fluid SPF 30+ Anti-Aging Moisturizer for Blemish-Prone or Oily Skin - 2 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00L5O357K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ENkszbPSDD5ZK
There are so many options with this brand.. if you need more help, please don't Hesitate to ask! Xo
I would recommend a battalion as well as an army book.
As for painting, I found it immensely helpful to paint the figures before I clipped them out of their brackets. The only thing would would need to pay attention to there is that you will need to add a small dab of paint to the spot that was attached to the bracket and you will need to know what pieces you are going to use and which you are not going to use. This was useful for me because you have something to hold on to as you paint (especially when detailing). It also allows you to paint areas that would be immensely hard to paint with any degree of detail or accuracy if the piece was already assembled.

They're nice and relaxing, have had no bad reactions to them. And you look glowy the next morning.
